I call again and they just happen to be on the phone with the parts dealer looking for my part. Then they tell me it won't be done til Monday. Not an apology or anything. 2nd visit 10/15/2024: This is my second time using Kerry’s Car Care & I am just as happy as I was the first time with their prices and ability to return my car back promptly. The manager Daniel is always so welcoming and knowledgeable about cars. Each times he’s made sure I understand what is wrong with my car and how it will need to be fixed. Both times I’ve been here he has helped me prioritize the care my car needs that’s within my budget and been more than happy to offer me an Uber or water while I’m there. My mechanic was Ralph and the quality of work is unmatched! My car is running better than before. Thanks to their team, I’ve always been able to have my car back within a day or so. Thank you to the amazing team under Daniel’s guidance, you will forever have a repeat customer. 11/30/2023: Brought my car in for a fuel leak and had the opportunity to work with Daniel for the repairs. He was friendly, helpful and straightforward. He thoroughly communicated the recommended repairs, cost and length of time it would take for me to have my car back. I moved here from Texas in December last year, I had my own very trusted mechanic there and was skeptical about trying new ones here. I called the office and spoke with Miranda. She made the entire process extremely easy! When I got here, the mechanic actually brought me back in the shop and showed me exactly what was wrong and how they tested it. This is my second time here now with a different issue, and again, spoke with Miranda, got here, and got my car checked in super quick and easy. As long as I’m in Arizona, I will be coming to Kerry’s Car Care in Phoenix with every issue I have! Thank you guys for the great service!!

These guys are the worst. They kept my wife's car for 5 days because they couldn't figure out what was wrong with it. My truck ended up in there at the same time and because I'm just a working stiff and don't have 4,500 bucks laying around I had to finance they saw how much I was approved for and they made sure all the repairs came right to that number. These guys are price gougers real bad. We will never ever go back to them

Adjusting my review since Kerry’s has disappointed me on a few occasions. Not completing everything requested (simple stuff like “rotate the spare in”), not understanding how to remove the cap from my lug cover, and not verifying they corrected the issue the vehicle was brought in for (i.e. check engine light - still on when i got into the vehicle). I paid for a 5 pack of oil changes and don’t even trust them to do that properly.

I think I've found my future car repair place. I made an appt, with Kerry’s Car Care, on Mariposa (7th Ave just South of Camelback) for my 2014 Kia Sedona EX. I was told that I needed a wheel alignment, from another company, due to the previous patterns on my old tires. I didn't feel a pull whatsoever, but okay, I'm not a mechanic. I made an appt with Kerry’s for today (9/12/24). One of the reasons I took it there is because they actually have a FREE SHUTTLE! I haven't seen an auto repair place with one in years (I live less than 2 miles from them). I told the person what the other company said & she said if I wanted to wait she would have one of the mechanics drive it & let me know before taking the shuttle home. I only had to wait about 15 minutes (they have a great “waiting" room) & the mechanic said there was no need for an alignment & that it had a very nice & smooth drive. I left after about 20 minutes with NO charge! I really think this is the FIRST time in my life (I'm 68 yrs) I didn't feel like an auto repair shop wasn't trying to blow smoke up my ass! GOD! It will be great to have my van repaired for the ONLY items that actually need it AND get a ride home instead of waiting! FYI - I had already told them that I had my oil/filter changed, a new battery & new tires put on within the last 2 months. That is why they didn't do any diagnostics. Also, when I was there I saw some signs with various auto repairs listed with the prices. From what I saw, they were very comparable, if not lower, than most auto repair places.

Run as fast as you can. Here’s the good part: They offer free storage while your car sits there waiting for repairs and are rather generous with it. That’s it. Now, let’s dive into the bad: I brought my 2018 Ford Focus in after the battery died, and suddenly the car wouldn’t change gears anymore. It was shifting fine the day before, so I took it in for some small repairs. No luck. I started doubting their competence when all they did was run some codes and tell me I needed a new TCM and an entire transmission. I had them replace the TCM, but they couldn't even reprogram it! The woman at the front—Maranda, I think—gave me the usual nonsense, saying, “It’s a Ford" and "It's probably electrical.” When I questioned her, she threw out, “Our guy’s a 40-year master mechanic.” Well, that so-called "master mechanic" couldn’t even reprogram a simple TCM, yet a Ford tech with minimal experience did it with no issues. To top it off, your team somehow killed all power to my car, which Ford had to fix—and then you tried to pin it on the car sitting for too long. Yeah, right! Every mechanic I spoke to said you were clueless and completely in over your heads. You botched the TCM installation and had no idea how to restore power. Then you tried to shift the blame onto the transmission causing all these new issues, but that had nothing to do with it. Oh, and let’s not forget the fiasco of getting the car into neutral. None of your guys could figure it out—except for one, and of course, he wasn’t even in that day! This caused a huge issue with the tow truck driver, who couldn’t get the car out of the lot. All of this, because your team didn’t know how to reprogram the TCM properly. So, thanks for that added headache. And to top it off, you left my window down. My car got robbed because of your carelessness. Thankfully, Chapman Ford fixed the TCM, restored power, and, wait for it—found the real problem. The transmission case was broken, and the clutch was fractured. Seriously, all that from a battery replacement? Does that make sense? Nope. And to make matters worse, Chapman Ford mentioned that the damage to the transmission case and clutch isn't normal. That's odd. Maybe that’s something you guys should explain? Next time, you should mention upfront that you outsource transmission issues to another place. Oh, and thanks for sending me to buy a key fob battery because your team couldn’t figure out how to make the sensor work, despite it being nearly brand new just like the car battery. None of your mechanics knew what they were doing and you screwed me over. I waited to post this review until I got a second opinion, just to be sure. Turns out, I was mostly right. Too bad your 40-year master mechanic couldn't figure out in weeks what Chapman Ford sorted out in a single day, huh, Maranda? I was also in the middle of moving to Scottsdale during all of this, which just added to the chaos. Your incompetence made an already difficult move even more of a nightmare. Now I’ve seen firsthand that there truly are terrible mechanic shops out there—ones that thrive by preying on people who don’t ask questions or aren’t familiar with car repairs.

***SCAM ALERT**** Took my girls car here for a simple oil change. They took it upon themselves to take off her wheels/rotors and do an “inspection” of the car. They came up with a laundry list of things that needed to be replaced including rotors, pads, tires. They said she had a leak in the radiator and they should do a pressure test to confirm it. There was a bunch of crap they suggested needs to be done. Told them no and just to do the oil change. Took the car to my normal mechanic in Mesa that has proven themselves honest hence why I’ve gone to them for about 22 years.. none of it was needed. They said brakes and pads were at 80%, tires were fine, no leaks detected anywhere. FOCK THIS PLACE! THEY JUAT TRYING TO RIP PEOPLE OFF WITH A THIN LAYER OF GOOD CUSTOMER SERVICE SO YOU DONT KNOW YOU ARE GETTING SCREWED WITH NO LUBE!

Avoid this place!!! Absolute worst experience with a mechanic shop. Brought car in with diagnostic reading. Was told they need to do there own (which I understood) 166$ was called later that day to approve a repair totaling to 800$ which I thought was high but I agreed. When I left lot the engine light came back on so I brought it back after having my car for 2 weeks 14 days! with barely any interaction in between they called and said they a have a “great price of 1,056” for the new repair. Mind you they are supposed to call before they do any repairs for consent of the charges they can’t just surprise you with a 1000$ dollar charge. Unless they were obligated to do the repair and were just trying to see if I would fall for it (which I unfortunately did) never again though!!! Which made believe it was a scam They dropped the price 220 since I had a warranty but wouldn’t cover there entire price for the mistake they made When I got there they said to basically ignore the 800 for the other parts (which I replaced 6 months ago) and that the new repair was the cause for the light. And it was the exact same repair that I knew because it was the code I did diagnostics on!!! Not to mention I brought the car in with right under a full tank got it back running out of gas. They put about 250 miles on it, the car was filthy. Also they broke the covering over the seat adjusters. And said that was there when they got it and acted as if it was nothing absolute worst shop avoid at all costs if you value your car time and money total scam

Purchased an oil package with five oil changes. I recently bought a new vehicle where the dealership that I purchased the vehicle from does free oil changes for four years. When I called to explain this to them and ask if I could receive a refund on the remaining oil changes, they refused. My experience with this place has always been very good up to this point. I would just say they do not deal in good business. They will not give you your money back if you no longer need the services. Do not buy the oil change packages!

This is a specialed shop that has one heavy-duty lift that can put up small busses and transport shuttles along with 4 regular lifts. There is a funky earth ship type office with comfortable waiting. The staff is outgoing and knowledgeable. They offer services from maintenance to overhaul. They have a custom order form online to send in before you arrive to make things progress more efficiently once your appointment arrives. They are patient and understanding when you have a difficult fix and they are calm and cool when you need only an oil change or AC boost. There are 6 Kerry*s Auto shops in Phoenix. I visited Jesus at the Mariposa Store and was treated well. It's intimidating going to an auto shop. These guys put you at ease and do good work. Check em out!

This shop is amazing! My car unfortunately had a suspension bolt break so I took it to Firestone, who was unable to help, and told me to have it towed to a BMW dealership (dollar signs were going off in my head)! Thankfully, I called this place and Jesus immediately reassured me that they could help me. The day it was towed they investigated and started working on it right away. They were professional, communicative, and offered a fair price. They worked quickly and I was back to driving my baby in no time. Shout out to Jesus ✌️

Dollar told me to go to Firestone…I did but they were not a all helpful, actually seemed like I was putting them out. Called Kerry’s and Daniel told me to come right over! He was super helpful and they fixed my issue in less than 5 min…didn’t charge me either! Great customer service!

Continuamos con mi experiencia. Una vez que José Hierro se retira de dicha institución, comienzo atender mi auto con el llamado Daniel Santesteban (algo así, no recuerdo muy bien su apellido en estos momentos). En noviembre del 2023 llevo mi auto porque tenia el cheking encendido, ellos le ponen el escaner,el cual arroja un código y me comentan que es el catalitico, les pregunto el precio del mismo y ocsilaba en los 1600,les pregunto q si la parte era nueva y la indicada para mi auto ,me dice que si,los autorizo a trabajar en el mismo ,la realidad que todo el trabajo me costó más de 2000 dólares porque habían otras cosas por reparar, yo les comenté q no disponía de esa cantidad de dinero y me hablaron de una famosa línea de préstamo de dinero,la cual se llama Easy Pay,como mi objetivo era reparar mi auto y que saliera de allí en buen estado acepte y realice todos los paso necesario ,para esa app,la cual me aprobaron por 3000 dólares, los cuales tenia que pagar con interés, pero accedí hacerlo. Supuestamente ellos resolvieron mi problema y la parte (catalitico) que pusieron era nueva y la indicada para mi auto. Resulta ser que dos meses después mi auto comenzó a encender el cheking nuevamente y antes de llevarlo con ello lo llevaba a un Auto Zone y me le ponían el escaneo y me explicaban cual era el problema, de las tantas veces q lo llevé al auto zona siempre arrojaba el mismo código el cual tiene que ver con el catalitico y ellos me decían que era un sensor,y Supuestamente se lo cambiaban,alrededor de 7 días volvía a encender dicha luz y siempre era el mismo código y cada vez q lo llevaban ,decían algo diferente pero jamás me decían que el problema era del catalitico, hasta que mi auto comenzó a empeorar,se los llevo nuevamente y me dicen que para darme un buen diagnóstico tenia que pagar 200 dólares, to le dije que no ,q me llevaba mi auto,pues me lo llevé y otro mecánico bien profesional me lo reviso y el problema era el famoso catalitico que ellos me habían puesto nuevo el mecánico me dijo tomale una foto y enseñárselo para que no jueguen con los clientes porque eso no es de professional, pues kes hablé y luego le llevé el auto con toda la seguridad y certeza del problema que tenia mi auto,cosa que en el taller sabían porque estoy segura q el escaneo arrojo dicho problema pero querían sacarme el dinero Entonces yo pregunto como es posible una pieza que ellos pusieron nuevamente, como es posible que no a llegado al año de estar instalada me estuviese dando tantos problemas desde el primer momento que saque mi auto con ellos. Resulta ser que todos son unos incompetentes y aprovechadores,porque si sabían lo que tenia el auto,lo que querían sacarme dinero,para nada son professionales,son mediocres,ignorantes y estafadores. Resulta ser que en esta ocasión que voy a recoger el auto después de la segunda instalación del catalitico qué no puedo asegurar que sea una parte nueva porque ya pude observar el modo operando de ese taller. Una vez saque el carro de allí comencé a sentir unos golpes debajo del carro,me estacione y me tiré al piso para saber que estaba pasando y Resulta ser que una tapa o algo así estaba provocando el ruido,pero eso no era lo más importante, lo importante era que todo el líquido refrigerante lo estaba derramando por cantidad,tuve q llámarlos y regresarle el auto q lo había sacado del taller no hacía ni 3 minutos,Resulta ser que ellos quebraron la pieza que va dentro de la manguera del refrigerante y me dice Daniel que ellos no fueron ,q por lo mismo no hacen responsable de ese daño,y como es posible que yo lleve el auto con ellos sin ese problema y me lo entreguen asi,eso fueron los mecánicos mediocres que trabajan allí y son unos incompetentes y que si quiero que ellos resuelvan dicho problema son alrededor 600 dolares ,les dije que no iba a pagar ese dinero por algo que rompieron ellos y me llevé mi auto.Fui al auto zone y pregunte el precio de la pieza y no llegaba a los 50 dolares,también las busques e

I came in for a simple oil change- seeing that this place is close by and had great rating. Well deserved! Miranda at the office is so friendly and personable. She was able to answer all of my questions and made the process easy. AC wasn’t at full capacity in the building, so they paid for a Lyft from and back while they worked on my car. Thoughtful touch! They also checked my brakes and tires (amazingly, the last place I took my car to FOR a tire check didn’t notice that they were splitting and sent me back on the road. I had to get two replaced later that day…). They gave me some info on other work I should consider, with no pressure to do it immediately. I plan on taking it back in for those jobs. No les recomindo llevar su auto a este taller esta es mi experiencia La primera vez que fui al taller me atendió José hierro muy amable pero las reparaciones del auto en corto plazo con problemas luego comenzó a trabjar daniel el cual no recomiendo a nadie cada vez que el auto lo llevamos porque tiene garantía de la pieza que remplazaron qué se rompe con mucha frecuencia no se que trabajo hacen que el auto se va con otro problema aller le quebraron la parte donde va la salida del refrigerante del motor y no quisieron hacerce cargo de la reparación alegando que era un problema viejo y lo llevamos a otro mecánico y nos dijo que era imposible que el auto pudiera estar un año y medio trabajando con ese problema en fin esos mecánicos son unos mediocres les aconsejo no lleven su auto allí

Such a blessing to have found this shop! I called after 5 and they were willing and able to take a look at my car. They were honest and transparent about the repair that needed to be done. They showed me exactly what they would do and helped me to understand what was needed and why. I was still out in an hour. Staff was incredibly kind and patient, and did not charge for me for the labor or repair. They really saved the day for me and I am so grateful for their great work and kind hearts.
