Scammers. Completely wasted our time. Ordered a Honda Odyssey transmission from my company. We charged $75 in advance on credit card for the delivery, and told them they had to pay cash for the rest. They agreed. Today, before we delivered, called again to let them know. Now when the delivery drivers shows up, they say "i don't have cash, they told me I could pay check". What's stopping them from making the check bounce after they write it? They never bought from us before, so these are the precautions we have to take. And they agreed to it. Whoever the old dude was that I spoke to, can't admit that he's wrong, and tried to blame us. Nope, nice try, you were wrong, and now you have to deal with trying to find another transmission. Good luck.

Got my Tesla tires changed here. Great price and fast service! Highly recommend. Tesla is great at saving travel cost but downside is expensive maintenance. I’m so glad I found this place. Highly recommend will definitely come back next time when I have to change my tires.

Mr Kim recently fixed my Honda's AC... A different mechanic has overestimated the price of parts and labor, he was able to get it done... No funny business, he sure knows how to around cars and fixes from the smallest to the most complicated repairs. I also brought in my wife’s Beetle for transmission problems and within a day it was filled and ready!

I like to share my experience recently. My wife visited this shop due to weak A/C on Wednesday 9/7/2022 and I heard that the air compressor doesn't work and need to replace it. I allowed to replace it. Next day my wife went to pick up car and I was told that compressor works but replaced A/C expansion valve and charged A/C gas, so my wife paid $597.56 totally. The problem was happened next morning of 9/9/2022 that battery was discharged completely which I replaced in less than 2years. I jumped battery to start engine and charged battery for 20minutes. However the battery discharge issue was repeated for 2days and when I charge battery again on Sunday 9/11/2022, the black smog comes out from engine room. So I gave up charging battery and towed the car to the near auto repair shop on 9/12/2022. Engineer found right away there is no A/C gas left, and I asked them to inspect and repair the problem. After two days inspection, they found there is the bypass underneath of A/C relay switch as attached photo. That bypass had kept drains battery since A/C was working even after turn off engine and A/C gas of which color is black came out once A/C is overheated. My car doesn't have any similar this issue before visiting Kim's Quality Automotive and I don't believe that the bypass was installed before since if the bypass was there installed earlier, it should have battery dead issue earlier. Moreover I found that the cover of switch box in the engine room was open when I open the engine hood to jump battery on 9/9/2022 and also I saw a lot of the condensed water dropped more than normal condition after charging battery. I called Kim's auto shop to explain about what I found, but he deny about the bypass and insist that he didn't add anything . I am not sure 100% who had add bypass under A/C relay switch but sure thing is that no other auto shop or nobody has chance to access switch box but Kim's auto shop. I just want to descripted facts which I experienced and share with anyone who want to see reviews. The red arrow in the attached picture is the bypass found from switch box. After removing the bypass and adjusting relay switch location, A/C works well. I have to pay for recharging A/C gas and battery replacement. If engineer couldn't find the bypass, then I might lead to replace a lot of parts and lose huge money. I will not go to this shop anymore.

Over estimating and charging the price, 3 hours take to finishing the job this place charged 6 hours of labor. When I questioned him, his response was that’s his rate almost feel like telling me take it or leave it type of response, please who ever need to go this place check the price and estimation. Ask around before you decide to go this place. But think twice before taking your car to this place.

Not good!!! Ended up taking my truck to a different shop to have his mistake fixed!!! Not good, stay away.

He fixes the cars much faster than I was expecting. This is my second time bringing my car in and I think it took an hour to replace my alternator (we brought a new one from rockauto). I feel very comfortable bringing my car to him for all my issues.

Mr. Kim is the best auto body shop in Bay Area because other auto shops try and up sell you and overcharge you with hidden fees but Mr. Kim helps you exactly for your need with no hidden fees and very little cost compared to other auto body shops. It feels really happy to have honest and hardworking business like this. He has trouble understanding English so you may need to be a bit patient and slower with your words but in terms of quality and craftsmanship he is great.

He didn't seem to know much about cars. (Simple maintenance can be fine.) And he had a tendency not to disclose the price information clearly, and did not respond properly when I asked for a receipt for the handling of the expenses.

I typically get my oil changed here and it by far the best deal I have found. They also changed 2 of my tires that were completely worn for a fraction of the cost of Pep boys. Didn't try to upsell tires to me. Just what I needed which were 2 tires that will wear just enough unil all 4 need to be replaced. :)

My first time I came here because I can walk to work. Now it's my go-to shop for all my repairs. So far brakes, timing belt, AC & heater hose leaks, plus routine maintenance. I couldn't be happier with Kim's service.
