Kings Automotive is everything you want in a repair shop. Honest, friendly and very knowledgeable. Brought in my son’s Jeep that needed a lot of things addressed. The estimating process was straight forward and everything was super easy to understand. They answered all my questions and helped me prioritize the best way forward. I worked with Daniel and he clearly communicated throughout the process and the team delivered the vehicle back earlier than expected. Not to mention the peace of mind the 3 year 36k warranty that came with the repairs. Thank you Kings.

This is the best auto shop in Raleigh! They have always been able to help with any car issues I’ve ever had. They’re very transparent about the car issues and pricing too, with great customer service! I trust Kings Auto with my cars completely, and would absolutely recommend to anyone looking for auto repair services.

I cannot recommend this place enough! I had been having the same issue for *years* and have seen multiple mechanics who all brushed it off and told me it was fine. When I took my car to King's, the mechanics listened to what issue I was having, figured out the problem, and fixed it. Especially being a woman going into a car mechanic place, I felt heard, all of the employees did not talk to me in a condescending tone, they asked follow-up questions to make sure we were on the same page, and broke down the pricing. This is my new car place and I suggest it becomes yours too!

They quoted me $350 to replace this $15 relay that’s the equivalent of taking a plug out of an outlet. I would double check the work required and shop around for quotes (or do it yourself), before being ripped off like this. The initial $200 diagnostic was reasonable for the high quality work. Extremely thorough and professional.

King’s is everything you’d ever want in an auto repair shop—courtesy, professionalism, competence, & honesty. They’ve done major work for mr this year, & each job was done in excellence. For the first job I had them do, their price was $900 less than that of my second opinion. And after my latest visit, which was several months after their initial estimate, because the price of parts went down, my bill went down as well. Great to have total confidence in your auto mechanic!

The staff were very friendly and responsive. They took a thorough look at my car and provided a clear estimate with explanations and photos of what needed work. It was all of the information I needed to make a decision about whether it made sense to invest in repairs and they were still really nice and helpful despite the fact that I decided not to fix anything. I never felt pressured and would have had them do the work if I hadn't decided to be done with the car. Would recommend, especially for women navigating car things solo.

Kings is royalty in the world of Prius mechanics. They are incredibly knowledgeable and communicate well with customers. I have gone to them to evaluate a car I was considering purchasing. I have also been happy when they’ve done repairs or diagnostics on my 19 year old car! Fair and professional.

Daniel with Kings is awesome!! My AAA person recommended Kings to me, and after working with them I’ll never go anywhere else in Raleigh! Very transparent and care more about taking care of their customers than making a quick buck- If you’re a girl and nervous about mechanics because you’re used to car shops trying to patronize or take advantage of you, KINGS IS YOUR PLACE! Stop looking - this the mechanic you've been trying to find. These guys are the real deal, true diamonds in the rough. I will never take my cars anywhere else (2023 Toyota Sienna and 2016 Prius V). I swear I can't give these guys my money. The last 3 times they've sent me away with a minimal/zero bill. My most recent experience takes the cake though: I had my 2016 Prius V towed in because it wouldn't start - it would only go into accessory mode. Daniel @ Kings diagnosed the problem even though Toyota's diagnostics were *wrong* - he correctly diagnosed that the issue was the hybrid battery's inverter and sent me off to the dealer because it would be covered under the 100k mile warranty (he could have easily just fixed it and kept my money, but again - they're too honest for that). He also took the time to explain the issue to me in detail so that I would be able to have Leith pick up where they stopped. Sure enough - he was right and the official Toyota diagnostics were wrong. 🤯 The folks at Leith were quite surprised too. End result was I paid nothing for the repair (which would usually have cost $2800). Anyways - I don't usually write reviews. But these guys are an exception. I'd give them 10 stars if I could. Thank you again, Daniel and Anthony. You all saved the day for me (again).

After getting my estimate, I told them I would be checking with another auto shop to just do my due diligence, and when I asked them if I decided to bring it back to have them to fix my car, would the amount I paid for the labor to figure out what was wrong with my car go towards the final bill, the response was basically "once you leave, don't bother bringing it back to us." It felt very manipulative and like an ultimatum, like I was doing something wrong by having another place look at it. In the end, I got it fixed for half the price next door without having a bad taste in my mouth.

I can't say enough good things about King Auto Service! I had a flat tire on my Civic, and Mr. Steve and Anthony took care of it quickly and professionally. It's rare to find trustworthy mechanics these days, but these guys are the real deal. If you need any auto work done, I highly recommend Steve, Anthony, and the rest of the crew at King Auto Service! My older car needed emergency repair while I was in Raleigh and Kings Automotive not only did an excellent, fast job but suggested a replacement at no cost under their amazing 3-year warranty when one of the new parts had an issue, not caused by their work, months later. They are the only place I would go if I needed work again when in the area.
