I visited this place to pick up Penske truck. The staff was welcoming and professional. They processed my paperwork and brought the truck within minutes after I walked in. The gentleman went over paperwork, explained the charges, and asked me if I had any questions.

Highly recommended. I had trouble finding someone who would come out and change a tire and then patch it. Then I called these guys and they took care of it right away. Jimmy at the desk was very polite and set up a time for his man Freddy to come give me some air, enough to get to their shop where they patched it up for me in a few minutes during my lunch break. He was on time, knew what he was doing and was friendly about it. Pricing was fair and reasonable and they provided some options for tires if I wanted them in the future. They were even cool about the "towing charge" bc it was really close to the shop, but they didn't have to do that, so that was super-generous and, frankly, I needed to catch a break that day. They seem like really nice people and they do a good job when you need them. Thumbs up all around.

Kirk tires helped me change a skid steer tire. They stock skid steer tires and some wheels as well. I looked all over Google and could not find anyone in Chicago with skid steer rim's. By change I stoped in and they had some. Great staff kind and vary fast services. I generally don't leave reviews but I was impressed.

Took my car to Kirk Tire for routine maintenance, because it was closer to me, and I could avoid taking public transit during covid-19. They assured me they wouldn't do work until I approved it. They gave me a quote of $771.20 which I compared with other places and which was way higher. I declined to have them do the service. When I went to pick up my car it turned out that it was taken to their "other location" without communicating this to me, and took an hour to return the car. In addition, they performed the oil change ($70 value) already without my consent and said it was at no charge, but charged me a $75 diagnostic fee for producing the quote--which I felt was excessive. I ended up going to a competitor and saving over $200 for the same work. I'm not sure if this was just bad communication or something else, but I will not be returning.

I had a slow leak in my tire any they found the cause and fixed it under 15min. They were quick, reasonably priced and most important they were very nice. Don't bother going to any other tires shop in the area. I liked them so much imma give them another star ---> * .

One of the only family owned tire businesses still in existence (you can't count a giant again like Cassidy, which may as well be an NTB). Jim and his dad treat you like family, which is something a chain store will never do. They are honest and upfront with you, will never try to upcharge you, and truly have the customer's best interest at heart. They have been around for so long because they treat you fairly, have great prices, and great service. Please pass up the others and bring your business here if possible. You won't regret it.
