I'm so very pleased with KnoxHorizon . My husband does business with them and even purchased a 2013 Malibu that he still has running. anyways I had my tire lights keep coming on for low air. I took it to 2 other places before KH. Since my husband thinks highly of them the entire staff and mechanics are awesome. very nice and professional and Billy worked with me and communicated with me my entire wait which really was not long for ordering a new battery for my rogue and gave me a new tire for a good price. They treat you good here . I will continue to bring my car here. they found my problem after nobody else could. thank you to the entire staff for your kindness and help **********. 10 star for you all.

Had my son's truck towed there because it broke down on the highway. They said the radiator was cracked and the thermostat was bad. I was charged 4 gallons of coolant even though the truck just takes 2 gallons. I got the truck back and it was leaking. I called and was told to bring it back a week later. They said they couldn't find a leak after running it for 45 minutes and testing it twice. I went to pick it up and started it. After 10 seconds it was leaking. I had to show the mechanic it was leaking. He said he didn't see it. I asked about the coolant and 4 gallons. He said they reused the fluid and it wasn't replaced. So I was charged extra and got nothing. They didn't see the leak. I'd go somewhere else if you have the opportunity.

I had no idea where to take our car when it died. The tow truck driver said, "I've towed cars to Knox Horizon at customers' requests, and the customers always say they're decent people." We took a chance, and I'm glad we did! They were thorough, straightforward, reasonably priced, and kind. My husband and I were both impressed and took our other car there for some work. Again, they did a great job at a reasonable price. We're both in agreement that this will be our go-to place from now on!

Passing through on a long road trip and took the car in to check it up. Turns out the codes weren’t reset and car was fine after tests. Wonderful people, fast service, and very knowledgeable. Five stars!

The team at Knox Horizon is honest and terrific! My wife and I have been treated with nothing but helpfulness and respect when we’ve brought our vehicles here for various needs. Whether it’s been routine maintenance or something more complicated/major, we’ve been very pleased with Knox Horizon! They clearly explain estimates and get approval before doing the work, and always notify us if they find something additional once the work has started. We’re grateful to bring our vehicles here, and their location right off Clinton Highway/I-640 is super convenient, especially if you live in the North Knoxville area. Definitely recommend!

In a day and time when we are all struggling to find “good” in the world, I am certain I just found it at Knox Horizon. Auto repair is a vulnerable space for a woman to navigate, yet at Knox Horizon I sincerely felt seen, heard, and informed. I left my car with them over the weekend, because we were traveling out of town, and went Monday afternoon to pick it up, thinking I was going to be waiting a week or more on parts, it was fully repaired and even freshly washed (I definitely didn’t count on rhat). I cannot say enough about thr quality of this company. Top notch in every regard. 5/5 they will not disappoint.

Knox Horizon was great! They were helpful and efficient. In addition to the things I needed done they vacuumed my car which is something I had not had time to do and was such a nice extra thing to do.

TLDR: Knox Horizon does quality work at fair prices. While my personal experience there could have been better, they did everything possible to make things right that went wrong. Full Review: My truck (2014 Ram 1500 with ~115k miles) was overheating and using oil. Diagnosis revealed an oil cooler failure, which was causing oil contamination of the coolant, which led them to also recommend an entire replacement of the cooling system (radiator, heater core, water pump, all hoses), as these components couldn't have the oil effectively cleaned out (as they were amazingly able to do with the engine block). I fully believe that the cost of this repair would have effectively totaled the truck if I had taken it to the dealership; Knox Horizon quoted me a little over $4,000 and the final bill actually came in quite a bit lower at $3,500. My repair took much longer than it should have due to some shop equipment failures, parts availability, them being short staffed at the time, and employee errors, but in the end they replaced all the items that were accidentally damaged and my truck is ready for the next 115k miles. I will definitely be back the next time I need a mechanic.

Knox Horizon Auto rescued me after a serpentine belt broke and left me on the roadside. They provided me with a fair estimate on the repair and completed the work with no issues. They went out of their way to make me feel welcome at their facility. Two thumbs up. Thx

Body shop!! The 4 guys in the body shop are incredible to work with. Recently had a service van in for repairs and they exceeded our expectations! Highly recommend. We will have the door wrapped. Not only did they hang a new door, they repaired the track and brackets!

My new favorite auto repair facility. Give them a try for your auto care needs. Went for an alignment. Simple, fast, upfront, and uses an accurate scheduling system the customer can track. Did I mention free coffee, water, popcorn, and snacks. Great rates too!

My wife had an oil leak last year and we got a crazy quote from a dealer so we brought it to Knox Horizon to have it checked after reading good reviews. The price was very high but somewhat better so we gave them the go ahead to repair. Upon getting her car back, she started having a whole slew of new problems one right after the next. We got problem after problem fixed by them chocking it up to it being a somewhat older vehicle now. A few months later, it started burning oil bad, leaking oil everywhere, steaming, smelling of burnt oil, and several lights came on on the dash. We took it in only to find out they made a mistake that caused the leak to reoccur, caused new worse leaks, blew a head gasket, and cracked a head. The problem they created was far larger than the original problem they fixed so they fixed it on the house to try to save their butts. So they said anyway. As soon as we left, new lights came on and new problems occurred. We wanted to give them the benefit of the doubt because they admitted their mistake and supposedly fixed it so we wanted to believe they were honest. Each time they say bring it in, we'll look at it, it's a follow up so you won't owe anything to check it out. Then they tell us it's a repair of $4000-$5000 each and every time. We have spent about $10,000 and everything and more is wrong with it now. They have been jerking us around for months about a quote for a problem they diagnosed months ago. After we spent abput $10,000, they finally gave that quote...another $5,000. No, we don't think so. We tried to be positive and trust them. Yeah, we were fools I guess. These "fools" are taking their business elsewhere and would recommend anyone else do the same. Each time we overhear what others are having done, they are all having the exact same kinds of problems. Then today we were told, "This is a follow up so you won't owe us anything to check it out today. We will call you to let you know when we're done." We got that call alright. Along with another $5000 diagnosis. When my wife expressed her concern and her inability to pay yet another $5000 on a car that she could have replaced by now with a near new vehicle, suddenly we owed them money we were not informed of in advance. Knox Horizon has been coaching her to keep her car and keep bringing it in to have it fixed rather than replacing it with a vehicle that wasn't experiencing these issues. And again, before coming here, we simply had a leaking head gasket. And we've had all sorts of unrelated problems "fixed" since coming here yet nothing is fixed. Just a new problem every time we leave. Then when I calmly expressed my concern about being told we owe money today that we were told just a few hours ago that we wouldn't owe, the general manager came out yelling at me and wouldn't even let me talk. Then he yelled, "Let me tell you what! I'll go get your car right now and y'all never come back here!" Then we have proceeded to wait about an hour for him to "go get it right now" and we're wondering what they are back there doing to it. We will be checking all the fluids and everything we can before we dare get in the car and try to drive it anywhere. We do not trust this place and will never be back.

I took my car in to have it looked at after several other places told me they couldn't find anything wrong with it. Knox Horizon drove it and figured out what was going on and the work was done in one day. The cost was a lot less than I expected it to be considering how long I had went with the issue. I will and have recommended this place to other people needing work done on their car.

Scratches on our new SUV rear bumper. Our dealer’s body shop wanted $2,500 to replace entire bumper, citing potential impact on sensors. This seemed outrageous as there were no dents or dings, just the scratches. Knox Horizon agreed there was no need for a replacement and instead expertly refinished and matched original color for a brilliant result, and sensors are functioning normally. They even cleaned our vehicle inside and out. All for $500. Knox Horizon technicians have served as the body repair go-tos for several large dealers in town for years and know what they are doing, even around today’s highly instrumented vehicles. We are very pleased and highly recommend!

After a dealership had not properly repaired my car, Knox Horizons stepped up and was able to repair my car in a fast, professional, and efficient manner. Beyond that, they also provided me with help in understanding the problems and advice in dealing with this other service department. They were completely transparent with everything they had to do and walked me through the process the whole way through.

Everyone at Knox Horizon was professional, welcoming and treated me like family! I traveled from Nashville to Knoxville for work. My car decided to die at a gas station while I was getting gas. Having no idea who to call, somehow I found them. A driver was there to get me within 15 minutes of my call and towed my car. My car was fixed within a couple of hours! They did not take advantage of my situation by overcharging me! Being stranded away from home was not stressful at all! The staff supported me with compassion and provided the absolute BEST and FASTEST service! I highly recommend them!! I would give them 10 stars!!!

Totally demolished my vehicle went in for oil change they forgot screw my drainage plug causing me blow my hold motor was unprofessional I have several videos from them YouTube how work or cars at front desk also refusing to other consumers complaints like damage there’s as well n will be moving foward with legal action
