I was recommended by my son to go K.S. Murphy auto repair. Went for inspection and oil change. The next day I got a engine light. Took the car back and asked why a light if I passed. Long story short I needed transmission fluid after it was diagnosed on a machine that took less then 1min. One of the owners stated we'll order the oil you just pay for the oil no charge to put it in. Bill 166.00 I payed, my stupidity, but I told the lady he said to just pay for the oil. When said person came back. I said I thought I only had to pay for the oil. He went into the office and stated she will cash app you money back. That was around 12ish it is now 6pm....NO REFUND...I TAKE PEOPLE AT THEIR WORD. I WILL NEVER GO TO THIS AUTO SHOP AGAIN!!! In two days they made almost 400.00 off of me. I'm a senior on a fixed income. Smdh

They got me out of my money they ..act like they know what there doing they lie and they will give your car new problem.i do not recommend no one to go there they will take your money and the problem won't be solved ..the owner is in on it

I know my last review was good well I take that back I was cheated out my money they did not fix the problem I needed a catalytic converter and flex pipe instead of saying yall don't do that I took my money and never fixed it what they did was take my car to another shop for that yall should have said we don't do that here and told me to go some were else I would have appreciated more had yall did that but instead took my money and the catalytic converter and flex pipe was done so poorly that I had to end up getting it replaced again and I even showed them what toyota said and they totally disregarded what I said I will never get any more work done here again for all this I should have went to toyota never again will I be back there people save your money and go somewhere else don't waste your money guys not worth it at all very disappointed angry and upset at this point I'm ready to take ks murphy auto repair to court and get my money back NEVER AGAIN WILL I BE BACK next time just say u don't do that kind of work and I still have a check engine light on no thanks to ks murphy auto repair

Second time I used this company for my vehicle inspection, everytime the staff was very professional, friendly and quick. I would recommend this shop to my friends and family. Owner responded quickly to my questions and was able to fit me in at the last min. Saved me big time. Thanks again for your help.

I shopped around at different mechanics to see who would have the best price for some major repairs needed on my car to pass inspection. KS Murphy Auto Repair was the most affordable. They saved me hundreds of dollars despite the extensive work, and they completed it in 1.5 days, as promised. All of the staff I interacted with were friendly and generous. They gave me above and beyond what I expected. I will be coming back here for my future car issues.

Terrible services KS Murphy cheated me out of my money . They didn’t fix my car at all none of the problems that I stated was handled . I thought talking to the owner was going to get the job done but I guess he in on it to . My ac was not fixed , engine light still on and the sound from my car sounds like a motorcycle. This is ridiculous I rate them a 0 don’t waste your time and money karma will definitely visit you guys soon 100 fold. The mechanic couldn’t even look me in the eyes talking bout bring it back then they try to charge me even more money to try and refix it .this is how they treat the customer my car been sitting for 2 days if I wasn’t on them my car would have never got seen until they was ready I took my car to them over night and left the keys in mail box but then when I called he’ll say they busy how if my car was there first . They just want your money then after you pay they tell you what ever .

This is a great auto repair shop. I got my car inspected and new brakes . They did a great job! They are reasonable and all the staff are very knowledgeable about cars. Oh and all the staff are very respectful not just towards customers but to one another. KS Murphy auto is worth your time and money. Give it a try!

I took a VW there, which multiple car repair shops turned me away bc of it being a VW everyone felt they were unable to do the job.Well here they did an amazing job. The car needed a lot of work. They were informative and broke everything down in a language I understood. Because I don’t even know how to Put air in a tire. They completed the job in a timely manner, especially with the amount of work I needed done. The lady with the blonde hair (the receptionist) Sheree was amazing and very professional. Mr. Larry, Mr.Robert & the Guy Eric (E-Money) I nick named him were very friendly and professional. I will be back in January for my inspection ❤️ I think I found a new repair shop.

These guys are only interested in taking your money and not in doing any actual work. I came here a while ago to get a diagnostic for my car because it was having issues. My car ended up needing a transmission repair but it had other issues which is why I brought it (I was having poor acceleration, lots of vibration coming from my car, etc.) They told me they couldn't find anything wrong with it. I negotiated with them and got them to agree to look at the car again if there was actually something wrong with it and paid them $100. Got the transmission repaired, car still had issues, went back to see if they would follow up on their word, and of course, did not. I talked to the mechanic about the issues I was having and he started talking about getting me to talk to some "specialist" so that was my first red flag that they thought I was an easy mark and that they were trying to rip me off. Mechanic said the weird noises my car was making sounded like "regular motor noise." (it wasn't) I asked him about the poor acceleration and vibrations coming from my car. He said it could be engine mounts, so I'm like okay can you take a look? The answer was no. Anyway, had to diagnose my car myself, turns out changing air filter & spark plugs fixed some of the issues and it has an exhaust leak (which they would've found easy if they cared to check). So, I can't comment on these guys' work because they refuse to do any and I wasted $100 for no reason. Don't take your car here lol

Went there this morning for my 9am appointment. Started my state inspection on time. Told me everything that needed to be done. Great pricing, made me feel comfortable and welcome. Mr Robert a great person also the other guy and girl at the front. All mechanics showed me the work and were very professional and helpful. Definitely will be my home shop to do work on my vehicle!

Called about a missing part that was left off during reassembly and got put on hold. Never hung up ended up driving to the shop after listening to them talk in the background. The look on his face when I walked and realized I'm the person you have had on hold for 15 minutes. The last time I talked to them they said they were gonna order the part but didn't.

Don’t waste your time bringing your car to this location. I was told my car would be fixed in 3 days tops and ended up having the car for a week and some days later. I wasn’t pleased with the work at all and didn’t realize the defects until after I took the car home and had more of a chance to analyze it more clearer. . When I was in a Uber on my way to pick up my car up the Uber driver told me his girlfriend had a bad experience at this shop as well. Most be his family or friends leaving all these positive post because I can assure you my experience with this place was a waste of time and money. You’ve been warned !
