I would recommend having your vehicle serviced at this dealership. The service technicians are well informed and willing to lessen to what ever issues that you may have with your vehicle. They take the time to explain any issues that they may have found while working on your vehicle. I want to give a shout out to Paul who took extra time to help me some issues that I had. The friendly service is the reason I have my vehicles serviced at Kunes.

When in for an oil change. They were efficient. Told me some other things wrong with my car but didn't pressure me when I said I didn't have the funds at this time to take care of those.

While, the repair was done as it should have been, we had thie vehicle there 2 years ago for the same issue that was not fixed because they couldn't reproduce the problem. It's a jeep gladiator that had the "death wobble." After experiencing it again at 75 moh on the expressway i took it in again. Only after doing my own research did I find out what it was called, and at that point, they agreed it's been an issue with some vehicles. I explained it the same way the first time 2 years earlier but couldn't put a name to it, so they didn't fix it. On top of all that, I dropped it off on a Tuesday night *with them, (knowing the issue in advance) for Wednesday morning service. I should of got it back on Thursday but I received no calls whatsoever. I called on Thursday afternoon to get an update. They told me Friday at that point. Still no call on Friday. I called again Friday around 3pm. They said they would have it for me that evening and would call when the paperwork was completed. Still, no call! I tried calling from 5pm till 7:10 pm to see if I could pick it up. No answer in any department for over 2 full hours. You would think sales would have at least picked up. Finally at 8am Saturday morning I started calling again. I didn't get an answer till almost 9am. Car was completed but noone notified me so I then had to inconvenience someone to take me over. I'm very disappointed in the service at this dealership. Noone is perfect, but this isn't my first under 5 rating for this place.

Brought my vehicle in for 90K service, oil change, and a leaking tire. After a thorough inspection I received a video showing the areas of concern, a recommendation of what needs to be addressed, and a quote for the services recommended. Pricing was reasonable and the work completed the next day and my vehicle was ready to be picked up. Excellent communication through the entire process.

Tried to make appointment at last minute and service technician made it happen. I had several maintenance & repair items to schedule - rear breaks w/ rotors, 4x4 fluid change, transmission fluid change, tire rotation, & an oil change. This was the first time having any work done on the vehicle since purchasing in late August. I did not purchase the vehicle at Kunes but their dealership is a mile from my home, so it was the only logical location to have the work completed. Despite not purchasing the vehicle at Kunes, they still took care to ensure the stays well maintained. I would have given 5 stars except when paying via credit, the 3% credit transaction fee is passed onto the consumer, resulting in an extra fee to accompany an already large bill.

This dealership has the best cars in McHenry county hands down. They are very friendly and I got the car I wanted I'm very happy. If you are looking for a great sales person look for chase young but really knowledgeable I will definitely buy my next car from them
