My husband has a 1996 mustang that he is putting back together. It had some issues with the clutch and he originally took it to Aamco. They told him he needed a new clutch cable and they couldn't find an original one. Well then came the big man Bob at Kunkels! He didn't need what Aamco said he needed. Bob got my husbands car together! Fixed the clutch and some other repairs he didn't know he had. And the price was so reasonable. My husband is smiling from ear to ear. We can't thank you enough, Bob. You're the man! Update! My husband was having some more issues with his car. It is a 1996 that we let sit for years. He took it to Kunkels and as usual...he is very satisfied. He fixed things that my husband didn't even know about. And again, the price was no where near what I thought it would be. My husband said his car is riding so good. I want to add that this is not an "asked for" review. There aren't very many good honest mechanics around! A man with his skills and knowledge is hard to find these days. He is the GOAT! GREATEST OF ALL TIMES! Thanks again, Bob! We appreciate you.

Had an issue with mismatch between outlet of downpipe and inlet of new exhaust system. They came up with a plan and sourced parts to mate the two together. They did it timely and for a reasonable price. Thank you!

Don’t come here. The guy is rude and acts like he knows everything. He didn’t even bother to look at my car. Terrible service!

They do great work here! They do exhaust and muffler work that other people in this city won’t do. Fair prices and knowledgeable staff. Did great work on my Charger and made it sound like a completely different ride!

Bob and his team did an absolutely phenomenal job on my new installed exhaust for my 2023 hellcat jailbreak looks and sounds amazing . Y’all did a wonderful job . I definitely recommend and will go back again with the quickness. Thanks again

After our catalytic converter was stolen from our car on Christmas Eve, Kunkel’s was the first place we called. After speaking with Bob, the owner, we decided we wouldn’t be calling anywhere else. Bob is a national treasure. Bob and Robert kept us in the loop from start to finish, explained everything thoroughly, and were very kind and empathetic. The repair took no time at all and the car runs better than before. Truly thankful for the service and kindness.

I called in about service. The phone was picked up and no business name was announced. I had to ask if I had the right number.... The phone guy was young and unsure about everything.... Even the time they closed. I'm a little reluctant to get service there. In times past, I had excellent work and great customer service. I pray that hasn't changed....

Bob will let you know if you want it done fast and half azz take your vehicle somewhere else!! If you want your car fixed right with no worries and one hundred percent guarantee then these are the guys for you. These guys are awesome at what they do. They even have a little guy in there that they are training to be the next greatest mechanic ever. I would recommend these guys to God.

Rob and his son (Rob) are a class-act and very experienced mechanics. No job is too big for them to complete...when all other muffler shops (including the renown Don's Muffler Clinic) turned me away for fix on a stripped O2 sensor bung on my BMW, Kunkel's was super professional and up to the task. The bung was downstream in a very awkward angle and most shops turned me away and some even suggested I needed a new manifold. However, Rob and his son came through and pulled some old-school tricks out of the hat to get the job done. These guys definitely know their stuff and they do more than just mufflers. I will definitely be working with them again and will recommend them to family and friends. A+ for quality of service.
