I had such a great experience! Every time I go to a mechanic, they never explain anything to me or go over what the charges are for. My experience here was the opposite of that. The man at the front was very nice and explained what was wrong with my car and why they charged it at the price. I recommend going here!

Phenomenal service. Fast and only recommended repairs I needed. The lobby was. Lean and comfortable chairs. Super friendly team members also. This will be my go to for auto service for this area. *Wifi would be an added bonus 🙂

I cannot caution you enough to stay away from this place. Last time I went in for a break and oil change. All seemed ok at first but I later got a call that they forgot to return my wheel lock. No big deal, little did I realize it was a sign of awful things to come. The next day I could hear a scraping sound.They had failed to secure my splash guard after they removed it for the oil change. The damage is going to be about a 500$ fix. This was the quote by my Honda dealer. Kwik kar only offer to use a twist tie, to correct the problem, their extreme negligence caused. After the improvised repair , I could still hear a scraping, that was becoming more of a rattle. What ever they failed to do, a twist tie was not going to fix. At this point I decided it was time for a second opinion. To be frank I really didn’t want to trust them with my car again. I took it to the pep boys by my place. They quickly found this issue that eluded Kwik kar .They failed to secure my brake caliper with a bolt. The mechanic at pep boys fixed it for free , saying it was too dangerous to let me leave. He also explained that making a mistake like this would have been extreme negligence on the part of the mechanic. I spoke to the manger about this and showed them what the other places had found , and he was sympathetic ,while the lobby was full of other marks to scam. Despite him saying they would “make it right” , I have been ignored and avoided for months. Recently I got a full inspection at my Honda dealership, and it’s likely they have been also charging me to change fluids and doing nothing. Trans and brake in my case. So if you have to go here only get the bare minimum and even then I would just go to the Take five across the street. In short paid for 800$ worth of work, all which was done wrong, and now I have to spend about 600$ to repair their repairs. An still waiting on them to “make it right “

I had an extremely disappointing experience at this car inspection place. Upon arrival, I was instructed by Bobby to park my car on the side and get my insurance ready. I waited patiently for over an hour, only to see several people who arrived after me receive service while I continued to wait. Bobby repeatedly helped others, clearly ignoring the fact that I had been waiting outside the entire time. When I finally asked why I was being overlooked, Bobby had the audacity to lie and claim that he had told me to go inside the office, which he never did. This blatant disregard for customer service is unacceptable. I had no choice but to leave without getting my car inspected because I was late for another appointment. Bobby’s behavior reflects poorly on this establishment, and I hope management addresses this issue. No customer should be treated with such indifference. This was a terrible experience, and I will not be returning.

Ten days ago I had a bad experience with my Honda Civic Hybrid: The electrical equipment underneath the car's hood just gave out. Before that, I was able to drive very slowly to my local Kwik Kar shop from downtown Dallas before the car "died". That 6462 Greenville Ave., shop has given me great service for the 17 years I've been in this neighborhood, and they did not disappoint this time either! The manager, Chris, went right to work on the car, told me that the diagnostics revealed the electrical problems, and he replaced the major of two batteries with a new battery. However, he found out in ordering the remaining parts that the car was under "an extended warranty" and that the dealer would have to do that major work. I was very impressed with Chris's honesty. I think he could have tried to do the work himself and charge me over $5,100 to do the job. But, No, he was considerate enough to refer me to the dealer, who would know exactly what to do and did it. Chris saved me over $5,000 for his honesty and being ethical, and that impressed me very much! I was very happy! While the car was being worked on in the Kwik Kar shop, his lady assistant, Payal, took me home and also came and picked me up at least three times before the car had to be taken to the dealer. I offered twice to pay her, but she didn't accept my offer. I thought, "How very kind and generous of her!" After my car's needed work was taken care of speedily at the local Honda dealer, I had to have my front end alignment and tire rotation done, which job I brought to Chris. Again, his shop took care of the matter in an efficient and quick order; he even gave me a nice discount price for that service. It was Chris' and Payal's cheerful manner always, ready to be of service, that also very much impressed me during this whole ordeal. I will continue very happily relying on Kwik Kar for my car service in the future. I know I am in very good hands with these folks and highly recommend them to anyone needing good car service and repair!

Too slow. They aren’t quick at all. Go somewhere else! When I got there they said 20 min it took them 1 hour to just change the oil.

Came in for an Inspection. Great , quick and efficient place . management is very helpful, and their communication is nice. The waiting room lobby was clean and comfortable . Payal was very helpful by checking me in and very friendly . This people are great and will take care of ur car needs and definitely i will be back for more car needs and would highly recommend this locatuon to my friends and family for their car needs .

I went here kwik kar on Greenville, Dillion is amazing, he is a breath of fresh air, after freaking out about my check engine light on, he calm me down and explained it could be a simple fix or a big problem, he run the diagnostic and was so professional in explaining it to me. He got everything fix and working. I can’t thank him enough. He is so helpful and does his job well. Thank you again Dillion. I’ll see you again.

I’m just relocating from Maryland to Texas and when I say I’ve been through so many bad experiences with people, entities and even shops. I would 100% recommend this shop and Mr. Pete’s shop the sister one because they woman and everyone it’s like they understood and could see how anxious and fearful I was. They were so kind, humble, professional, patient. I’m so grateful to have found these people because I’m new in this state and learning the ropes. It’s hard to find great people especially to trust in this world. Thank you everyone truly I am super grateful for everything. It was a process but they definitely got me through it. This kwik kar has to be the best location in dallas for all your car needs . The staff is very friendly as soon as you enter. The service was quick and attentive . Came in for oil change and inspeciton and it took less than 30 mins much faster than a dealerships. The store looked well maintained and clean it felt nice to sit and wait while ur car is being worked on. if you want honestly, friendly staff, fast and quick service go visit this location. would highly recommend friends and family to take their car needs here . thank you kwik kar for you service

Initially took my car here due to the lower prices. You might think that a lower price means a lower quality of work right? Wrong. Donald was very very nice and extremely... compassionate. You can just tell he would do what he could to help someone out. He was very quick about his business at the desk and definitely doesn't take pleasure in wasting people's time. I received a ride home from and to the shop from Paayal, who is just the nicest lady and went out of her way to give me her number so we could better communicate, and to ensure the experience for me was easier. Overall they were both very helpful and did their best to ensure that the customer interaction was as best as could possibly be. Pickup/dropoff is something they only offer to those who live very close by fyi. The service regardless was very quick and they got back to me within a very timely manner, and kept me informed the whole way. Definitely recommend bringing your car here if you're looking for something more affordable than name-brand dealership shops. The work will be as good if not better, and the people here are extremely nice and very helpful.

They add extra charges and don’t honor the website and blames the reason on corporate. Be sure to check your receipts when you leave. I kept my receipt for the overcharge if someone wants to call me and discuss it.

Unfortunately, Google won’t let me give this place 0 stars. I have actually used this place for 20 years. Multiple vehicles. I went to have my inspection done, oil change, filters, etc. The vehicle inspector refused to pass my vehicle because of a non tinted UV screen on the front windshield. He was immediately contentious and unreasonable. The UV screen was put on the vehicle by the dealership when I purchased it. My brother is the general manager, and I called and confirmed with him. I also showed the manager and inspector the regulation from the Texas DPS website. He was unwilling to pass my vehicle. I would not have written this review were he not so unpleasant and contentious in telling me. I tried to reason with him and he is clearly in the wrong. I would avoid this place at all costs and I will never be back. Here is the direct verbiage from Texas DPS website : A clear (un-tinted) UV film is allowed anywhere on the front windshield without a medical exemption being required.
