On August 26th 2024, at noon I arrived at L& D Automotive located at 2432-A Robinson Dr. for a complete all wheel brake replacement service. My initial interaction with the Bill the auto shop receptionist was spot on, he was professional, and knowledgeable in regards to my specific repair needs. I brought in my pre-ordered front and rear brake kit and the service personnel installed them with no problem. However, the reason I gave four stars ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️⭐️ instead of (5) is because after installing my brakes and just prior to releasing my car keys back to me right at closing time, Bill informed me that my brakes WILL NOT perform properly and I would have to pump my brake pedal every time I had to come to a complete stop 🛑, he told me the reason for this was because my Brake Master Cylinder is not functioning properly and needs to be replaced. Well, as you can imagine, this news was devastating to hear especially after paying so over $400.00 For a complete brake service. I tell you that on my way home from the shop I almost crashed into a vehicle 🚗 in front of me on three different occasions that same day, due to L & D Automotive releasing my car back to me where my braking power went from 80% stoppage before bringing my vehicle to L & D Automotive to just under 10% stoppage power when I first entered onto the roadway after leaving L & D Automotive shop.

Bill is my trusted go-to truck doctor anytime my geriatric Silverado feels under the weather. He diagnoses the illness, decides on a treatment plan, and discusses it with me, Old Silver’s caregiver, before automotive surgery. Best of all, he works hard to keep the cost low. He once fashioned a part Old Silver needed from something he had lying around the shop rather than ordering an expensive new part. This is the guy you want.

Bill Is a great guy who has only the most upmost respect for his customers. His communication while my car was getting done was immaculate. My car runs super well since being fixed, reasonable price for repairs, and they explain to you what is wrong with your car and why they did the fix. Bill does an excellent job and is willing to answer any questions about vehicles.

I have decided they will be my mechanic from now on even though I'm 50 miles away. I did not know the area, had car that overrated & was told to go there. I'm skeptical of others working on my vehicle, unless it's me, until I took the chance & am still grateful and brag on these guys. The problem was found quickly. They had me in and out in a timely manner. I do def trust them and am so grateful for them. FIVE STARS ALL THE WAY. Also, if u rate them with good experience, I noticed some are giving a one star when it's suppose to be 5 stars. 🙂 They will not price gouge you and will do the job right the 1st time. I'm truly amazed at the work they do. Thank you, Bill, Ethan and anyone else who helped.

It looks sketchy at first but I recommend! Honest mechanics! I appreciated how Bill took the time to explain everything that was done with my brakes and why it was important. He also did this is a non-condensing, and easy to understand way. They even squeezed my job in on a busy day and had it done fairly quickly.

Bill has a great work ethic and will make sure you get the most for your money. Don't ask if he can do it for less because he will be losing money on the deal. If it feels like too much, just ask for a back rub to put you at ease.
