Set an appointment to have my car serviced at 11:00 AM for an oil change and arrived at 10:45 AM to be on time. My car wasn't done until after 2:00 PM. The purpose of an appointment is to have my vehicle serviced at the set time, not 3 hours later. I waited patiently and thank them for the oil and filter change since the quality of work is always good.

I highly recommend this place. Todd and Mike take great care of their customers. They do great oil changes, tire rotation, inspection and tires at a reasonable price. Even on a brand new diesel. Will get you in and out quickly without the hassle. I wish I could give it 10 stars. S

It may not be their business of methodology, but I was hoping to get some other cost saving way to fix my vehicles, catalytic converters that could’ve been done through trying and additive or them possibly suggesting cutting the cat off and washing it so it passes emissions. not sure if the last part is legal or not, but it would seem so if it passes the emissions test for the state inspection other than that customer service advisor. Michael did a great job and taking his time explaining everything to me and made sure I understood everything so that made the entire service very good.

On August 13, I took my car to Lambs on Slaughter Lane for diagnosis of two issues: a non-working AC and several warning lights on the dashboard. I specified that I wanted to know the diagnosis and repair costs before any work was done. A few days later, Josh R informed me that they could fix both issues, so I approved the work. However, upon picking up my car a few days later, I noticed that all the warning lights were still on. When I asked Josh R about it, he said he would need to check it again, despite previously assuring me that the issues were resolved. He offered to take another look the next day “free of charge,” but I reminded him that I had already paid for the service and couldn’t leave my car at the shop again. I requested to speak to the manager, but he was unavailable. Josh reiterated that he would help me if I returned the next day, but the issues remained unresolved. On August 14, I spoke with the manager, Chris, and explained the situation. I requested either a full refund to get my car fixed elsewhere or half back so they could complete the repairs. After some argument, Chris agreed to refund me in full, and I had him sign a receipt for the agreement. Shortly after, he called to apologize, saying they couldn’t complete the work as promised because they lacked the necessary tools for my Volkswagen. He admitted that Josh was wrong in his diagnosis and needed more training, but agreed to refund the labor costs and finish working on my car. The following week, they took my car again, but when I received it back, the warning lights were still on, and the AC was completely broken. I tried to contact the manager multiple times, but he never returned my calls. I eventually filed a dispute, which was denied, and while cleaning my car, I discovered a part they claimed to have fixed still in its original packaging under my seat. I now plan to take Lambs to small claims court to recover the rest of my money. I do not recommend this shop.

Went in for a wheel alignment around 12:30PM. Took roughly 4hrs for the job to be done. Right before they closed. Had lunch, walked to the nearby Goodwill store and back, messed around on my phone and took a nap in there waiting room. They had plenty of sources to charge/power your devices which is nice and a vending machine with TVs that weren't on, so it was more of a lounge area than a waiting area given the time frame. I didn't have much else going on that day so the wait was doable, but still. Granted, it was on a Saturday and couldn't be sure just how busy they were, but given that I wasn't given any feedback on how bad it was or if there was anything that made the process take as long as it did, it's hard to give my visit more than 3 🌟. The staff that I interacted with were friendly and helpful so that's always a plus.

Worked with Todd to potentially change out alternator, quoted a fair price so I decided to take my Yukon there. He tested it out and reported that it was testing good and no need to change.

BEWARE Do not go here. A week ago I brought my car into the west slaughter lane location for a inspection and alignment. When I called before hand they said I could drop it off and would get to it when they could. That was at around 9am. At 4pm I received a call from lambs not to say the car was ready but that my entire steering rack was shot and leaking thus preventing the alignment from being dialed in. Before I could question the situation the representative started telling me how fast they could get the rack in and how theres financing available. The thing is I have a great mechanic that specializes in boxer engines and I had my guy run thru everything in the car to pass the inspection. Knowing this I declined and was told to wait for the call to come get the car. The other thing I found disturbing is my car sat untouched from 930am to 355pm. I know this from my alarm tracking how many times my ignition is activated or the car is actually started or moved. So that estimate call was 10 minutes after the car was turned on at 355pm. It makes me wonder did they even look at my steering rack? I get a call an hour later to tell me my car is ready to go. I then make an appointment to see my mechanic on the way home for the following week. I just got back from my mechanic and we lifted up the car. The rack is completely fine with zero leaks. This is the reason you can't trust just 1 shop and get a second opinion. In my eyes this is outright fraud and no matter how nice your staff is there is no excuse to make false claims that could end up costing your customers over 1000 dollars on a useless repair. My problem is I purchased a 3 year unlimited alignment and now I need to go to another lambs location thats further to get it done. When they're thru aligning I then need to check to see if they even did their job. This Lambs has lost my trust. Edit: After I contacted their customer support email that was commented below was 1 call was made to me that went to voice mail. They never tried again and really shows what they are about there..

I was going to leave a 5 star review. They got me in and out very quickly. But on the receipt I see they charged me a tire protection fee which I never asked for and the size of the tire is also different than what I asked for.

Our experience with Lambs Automotive was excellent. Everything was explained they gave me a time-line and also gave us a ride home and picked us up when they completed the work. Everyone was very nice and helpful. Would highly recommend them for service. 💯%😃👍

Excellent and prompt service. Today we got a flat tire on our way back to San Antonio and stopped by this state of the art automotive service. Mike took care of us and in 2 hours, my son and I were back on our way home with a new tire. I strongly recommend them. Thanks guys. And thanks Todd for lending me your cell phone cable charger.
