I've been taking my truck to Lamb's for over a year now. Rob is very helpful and understanding. His crew is always fast yet thorough. The only wait I experience is if a part needs to be ordered because of my older vehicle. Highly recommend!

Brought my car in at 4:15 and they fixed things up by 4:45 - didn’t upsell me and were incredibly helpful in offering advice. Great place with friendly, highly competent employees. Recommend, especially for any other broke college kids in need of a quick fix!

Have been to Lamb's on N Lamar twice for an oil change, and both have been positive experiences. This last time was the most positive where I was assisted by Rob and Sean. They were able to fit me in on a Monday afternoon, and were very ffriendly.Lamb's regularly runs specials which helps makes services affordable when many other places just aren't. Will continue to come back to Lamb's.

Service Required: Tire Puncture Patch/Seal Place suggested by my buddy and the good reviews solidified my decision. I left my car in their parking lot, talked to S. Guerrero, gave me a quick rundown at 10am and indicated a 2 hour wait or 2pm appointment option, I chose the 2 hr wait. At 12:44pm, I get their Vehicle Condition Report but was not notified of the tire puncture repair job I wait almost 2 more hours, then check in. I come back at 2pm to see 2 employees in my car, I ask when the car will be finished and am told it's being worked on but the car will not start, I ask to start the car myself and am handed keys that are not the keys I left and tell him, he then returns to the office to get the correct keys. At this time, I notice damage which appear to be caused from a hammer, accompanied by scratches on my driver side passenger door which were not on my car before. The employee returns to tell me my car is all set. I speak with Guerrero and through small talk mentions he takes pictures of all cars that come into the shop, I ask to see pictures on file of my car and the damage had already been present on my door. I ask about the hammer damage and to summarize his response, if someone at the shop had done it, they would take ownership and would have notified me, but [LAMB'S Tire & Automotive] will not take ownership of this damage that was caused on their property. Also that there's no guarantee the tire job will be a done deal. Guerrero maintained a respectful tone throughout our exchange. 4 hours of waiting and my prize is I get to walk away with a damaged car and uncertainty. Incredibly painful experience overall and I have tremendous regret for choosing this location. Would not recommend, if anything happens to your car before they take a picture while it's at there shop, SORRY OUTTA LUCK. *** 1 week update *** To anyone reading, notice the clever wordplay they used: "We will address the issues mentioned" Do not be fooled by the words of this wolf in disguise. Clever wordplay, soft implications, and understandable assumptions leads you to believe they intend to contact the customer since I am the one that experienced the issues, but how long does it take to reach out if the intent was true? Avoid Avoid Avoid.

I stopped by today without an appointment for a flat tire replacement. Folks at Lambs got me in and out within 30 minutes, worked with my budget and were all around very pleasant to talk with. I will definitely return!

Stopped by for a state inspection and emissions test. Even though they were very busy, they took the time to greet me and check me in right away. The whole process took about 25 minutes, easy peasy

I had hit a pot hole hard on an important trip to Austin. May car was shaking at speeds above 50MPH. The good folks at Lamb's where able to squeeze me in. They showed me where the rim was bent and that tire seam was leaking. They pulled the tire, applied rim sealant and re-balance that tire. The gentleman told me a couple of options to get rim straightened or replaced. They allowed me to complete my trip safely with their timely knowledgeable efforts. Well I must say I had a great experience I waited a few days to write the review to make sure everything was working properly and it sure is had a new alternator and new battery new brakes and rotors new power steering pump all installed within a week I absolutely love the mechanic Anthony and everybody that works there is really simple to work with Sean very friendly I will always bring my car back here because of the experience I had thank you

If you tell them it's your starter, they will still charge you $175 for a diagnostic fee. And they won't apply it to your repair. So that cost me $730 for a 2005 Honda. They originally quoted me $2K but I disputed that price as O'Reilly's carries that same model for $175, so I guess labor is $800/hr??? Also, they will say financing is available, and I've never had trouble with financing in the past, but I was not approved because of years at my new residence, so just keep that in mind. Austin Automotive will apply your diagnostic fee to service, just FYI 👍

Popped a tire and needed a new one fast. Lamb's was able to see me the next day, and I had the car back by 4pm. Rob talked me through the options and prices, and was very helpful. I'd recommend this Lamb's to anyone in the area.

Second time going to Lamb’s for general maintenance and had a good experience as always!! I worked with Rob, Sean, and Anthony - got everything I needed done same day and they kept me up to date on the status of my vehicle or any issues. They are very fair on parts/labor - I also really appreciate that I had needed quite a few things at once and they were able to get it all done timely! This included spark plug replacement (my vehicle is somewhat complicated also), tire rotation, all 4 new brake rotors and pads, brake fluid exchange (vehicle is higher mileage so was due), and state inspection. I’ve also gone to them for an oil change in the past and they were great! They have never tried to oversell me and I feel confident in the work. I’ve noticed some reviews re oil changes/maintenance work and just wanted to note that a lot of this work IS expensive nowadays - my oil changes are full synthetic so usually around $100 unless I’ve got a coupon. This is normal and does not mean they’re overcharging! I’ve done my own repairs and used dealerships. You may be able to get things done cheaper elsewhere but I trust the work I get at Lamb’s and I’ll certainly be back! I drive a lot and really appreciate Lamb’s keeping my car trusty and roadworthy!

They are my go to car people! Super responsive, always trustworthy, and I know my car will get fixed as speedy as can be. Plus the location on Lamar is super close to a bus stop if you have to leave your car at the shop.

We have been coming here for a while now for oil changes and this time we came in for an oil change and tire sensors. Sean helped us out and he was AMAZING! Super communicative and helpful, he even offered to bring in his own sensor tool the next day to help figure out the reading issue and followed up with a phone call that next business day. I would highly recommend this place, and thank you Sean for everything!
