$$$$**++READ READ$$$$ My car broke down and AAA suggested I use Lancaster auto tire. I had just had a bunch of work done to my car at a different mechanics and when Lancaster told me it was a starter I had my doubts so I decided to bring it back to the First mechanic , Lancaster, charged me $150 just to get my car back. After repairing my car at my first mechanic, the car immediately broke down again, and I brought it back to Lancaster Auto And Tire. For weeks Lancaster continually had excuses of why the car had not been looked at yet or diagnosed They once again charged me for a diagnostic on the car and stated they had repaired it after a total of almost 4 weeks, two charges for diagnostic, and over $1100! THE CAR BROKE DOWN TWO DAYS LATER, THE SAME EXACT ISSUE AFTER SPENDING OVER $1100. I BROUGHT THE CAR BACK TO Lancaster immediately AND IT SAT THERE FOR A WEEK AND A HALF WITH THEM DOING NOTHING. I HAVE CONTACTED THEM MULTIPLE TIMES… when they answer the phone THEY ALWAYS HAVE SOME EXCUSE WHY IT’S GONNA BE A LONG TIME TO BE ABLE TO GET THE CAR. THE PEOPLE I’VE SPOKEN TO HAVE BEEN VERY POLITE AND PROFESSIONAL OUTSIDE OF THE FACT THAT THEY CAN’T FIGURE OUT HOW TO DO A SCHEDULE OR A REPAIR AFTER MONTHS OF NOT HAVING MY CAR AND SPENDING $1000S OF DOLLARS ON UBERS, I’M TAKING THEM TO COURT. I HIGHLY SUGGEST YOU DO NOT USE THESE MECHANICS UNLESS YOU HAVE MONTHS TO NOT HAVE A CAR AND THOUSANDS OF DOLLARS TO BLOW ON UBER !!

Nick is the best mechanic there he will be real with problems and how to fix it, prices are ok , always busy so call for appointment

One of the fewest honest mechanic shops I know. After dealing with a terrible locksmith. I came here to be given a real assessment of what was wrong with my trunk. Even though I didn’t have the money to get it fixed with them. If I did, I wouldn’t have thought twice about it. They are helpful, kind, and respectful. They will be my go to shop. Thank you guys for being great.

I do not recommend bringing any vehicle here. They tried to charge me over 3 grand saying there were several different issues with the car. Come to find out there was a hose leak. I fixed my car at a different shop for a wopping $300. I was not gonna write a review but it seems obvious this is normal, as there are many reviews with similar complaints. In my opinion there bad for business. Avoid this place.

They were excellent in treating a customer, and they stick to their word when they say come at 8:00am. They finish the job in less time, and the work was professional. They have a manager name Mike, he treats you with respect and he’s fair, he just started the job and he’s an asset to the business. 🙏

I had a wonderful experience with Lancaster Auto and some of these poor reviews seem silly. Mike at the front desk was more than accommodating after I’d ran over a curb and my “flood flap” knocked off. Instead of up-charging me, the mechanic used screws and bolts of their own to put it back in place. 10/10 recommend.

My car got towed to the shop recently and Mike was very helpful and had great customer service. Gave me timely updates on the status of my car and told me in detail what was wrong, the parts needed, the time it would take, and everything else he could tell me about the car. I understand that it’s a business, but it seemed like he did his best to get me a fair price on the service. He was willing to work with me to get me to a comfortable price range. I asked them to do additional small miscellaneous services on my car with no extra charge like take out a couple nails that i noticed on my tire. Overall, I would recommend this mechanic shop to everyone.

I am always hesitant to try new auto-shops but I cannot say enough good things about Lancaster Auto. The staff is friendly, ethical, honest with fair pricing. They explain everything in detail without any pressure. I have found my permanent car service shop & highly recommend it.

I’d give 0 stars if it was possible. I had a failed cylinder in my truck, I called Lancaster auto and Matt quoted me 3k for a rebuild, I had the truck towed there and waited 3 weeks before finally being told (again by Matt) that it was now 11k for the rebuild because they found metal shavings with the engine camera and the engine was trash. I ended up getting my truck tf out of there and had it fixed by a local mechanic for a whopping … $1200!! A spring had gotten locked in the compressed position, all I needed was a simple lifter. This HONEST mechanic repaired all the lifters and we upgraded the cam (just because I was saving so much money) for that $1200. Lancaster are absolutely criminals and it’s unfortunate scum like this gets away with it. Idk how they have over 4 stars but I wouldn’t trust them to even look at a vehicle on television.
