I have been going to Le's Auto for regular maintenance over the past few years as I find their work to be honest and affordable. Recently I needed the clutch replaced on my used Jeep, which unraveled all sorts of other unpredicted challenges with the vehicle. Despite the problems, their team worked hard to deliver results and returned my Jeep to me with improved mechanics and advice for future maintenance. I highly recommend this shop for anything ranging from a standard oil change to unique scenarios (and most importantly, they will be honest!).

Amazing and honest people. They were transparent with their prices and services, and even suggested that I NOT to get certain unnecessary services, which I really respect in a mechanic.

Absolutely amazing service! I brought my beat up old Ford van to Le three times over the course of two months, and he was able to accommodate me the same day, communicate the costs and required work clearly, and give accurate estimates of completion time. Literally the best mechanic I've worked with over the past two years!

Called to ask if they work on classic cars (simple tuneup) & the guy who I talked to rudely said no & hung up before I could respond. I guess they have bad reviews for a reason

Unfortunately, my car was worse off after bringing it here. Had to bring it back after the first time because of a mistake on their part that they took responsibly for and fixed. This time, they aren’t taking responsibility for an issue with the car one week after a major tune-up with them. Never going back here again! Overpriced and too many mistakes.

Called and got a quote for new front brake pads and rotors. Came early Saturday morning as we talked about. New front brake pads and rotors done in under 30 min. Also got to see how bad the front ball joints were while car was on lift and they had collapsed fully. Got both ball joints done the same day without prior communication. Would recommend Tam.

I recently needed to replace a headlight bulb, just to find out my headlights are after marker and use a type of bulb that costs 4X the regular one. I did the rounds through several electric mechanic shops in Oakland and had a hunch to come here. Tam gave me a straight forward estimate, as well as a break down of how we could proceed. I chose to get a new pair of headlights installed with the original type of bulb. The day after paying the deposit he got my new headlights and installed them in 90 min. I got to use them last night and they are perfect!! Great prices and super efficient repairs, what else to ask?

Ive been coming to Le’s auto body shop for over a year now. I have a 2010 Ford Fusion that I bring over to them when I need maintenance done or if I am having car trouble. The crew is really good at leting me know what things I need to get done on my car. They are very nice, helpful, and friendly, I would recommend bringing your car to Le’s in time of need.

This shop is my goto now! After my partner destroyed her front right tire we needed their help and they fixed it well below our estimates on both time and cost! So the following week I decided to have them look at my 2009 Prius with a knocking engine and various other problems causing the car to shake and warning / engine lights to turn on and blink, a very bad sign. They fixed it in a single day well below any estimate I had received from the other four or five shops I had called when the problems first appeared and worsened. I figured it was game over for my ride, but now it drives without any noise or shaking! I’m so happy to have my car working again!!! Thank you Le’s Auto Body & Engine Repair!

I was NOT informed of the initial $300 diagnostic fee that amounted to NOTHING. He basically did NOT know how to fix the vehicle. I would go someplace else. There is no waiting, a place to sit down or even a restroom to use. There are No ASE Certification or proof that he is even qualified to do car repairs at this facilities. I wasted almost $600 for absolutely NOTHING and he had my car for three days! I had to get my car towed to another shop to get my car fix. GO someplace else, he just wants your money without doing any reasonable work for $300 diagnostic fee!

The worst place ever to come, they charge me 750 for nothing my car still has the same problem , when I came back the next day and asked for the guarantee the owner star talking about others problem and try to change the engine this was a horrible experience. Cero stars

I had a positive dealing with Le's Auto for a complex (and expensive) repair. I took my VW EOS convertible for turbo replacement--I had 3 other estimates before I tried him. Tam and team observed social distancing throughout. He provided detailed information and an estimate that was on the lower side of everyone. It was a big job; he ordered the part and worked on it for 2 good days and got the car up and going. I would certainly recommend him and trust to go back to him.

Great service and always helpful in addressing my concerns. I get regular oil changes and they have changed my brake pads. I also appreciate that they don't try to upsell me and are fair in pricing.

We went to Le's for body work on our car after it was involved in an accident. Tam and his crew made the car look better than it did before the accident! We were really impressed with their work and the price. So glad to have found a good mechanic close by.

I never am a big fan of getting work done on my car but Tam and his team made it easier than ever- I dropped in for an oil change on 8/21 and when I pulled one, on of Tam's team hopped up and was ready to work on my car immediately. I was a bit taken aback as I am used to these areas where you set an appointment and your car sits in a lot for 15 minutes before anyone looks at it, etc. The service was quick, the people were super friendly, and Tam recommended some items my car could get some fixing on without much pressure. He was really knowledgable and seemed first and foremost to want the best for my car above all, which is important to me. Thanks for all the help to Tam and the man who worked on my car, I am happy to bring my car back for regular servicing!
