I took my husband's car in for an alignment and was told they could not perform it do to a bad control arms and needed replaced for close to $800. This seemed suspect because we had just had other front end work done and the control arm was never mentioned. Surprise, surpeise when we had it double checked at another repair shop there were zero issues. So either their technicians have no idea what they are talking about, or they were trying to scam me because I am a women. Thank you Tim for reaching out, but I have no interest in speaking with your manager. He was the one trying to sell me the control arms. We also took the car to another alignment shop, where they also conformed there are NO ISSUES with the control arms. I suggest additional training for your technicians.

Traveling for work and they got my car in right away and fixed the problem so I would be safe to drive 6.5 hours back. Wonderful place with wonderful customer service. The best tire place to go to in Gillette!

They didn’t get a bolt tight and it put me in a life threatening situation! They don’t even hire people who even know what they are doing, they told me I needed a sub-frame movement but after them almost killing me I took it to midus and not only was it cheaper but mysteriously my sub-frame had no problem and they got it so it didn’t pull at all. I will never come back after this, it is not hard to double check your work especially when dealing with steering especially when it could cost someone their life, do better

We were traveling cross country back to the Midwest on 8/17/23 and had a flat on our Jeep Grand Cherokee. I called the number thru Jeep and was given a 2 to 2 1/2 hour window. I ended up calling Les Schwab and they had a guy out in 20 minutes - I apologize, but I didn't get his name. He swapped out our flat with the spare and we were on our way super quick. Thank you so much for the great customer service, super friendly technician and speedy service. I highly recommend this tire center!!

I tried to buy tires for my explorer today and discovered that I have a "rare" tire size. This makes it very difficult to find good tires right now. After one store tried to sell me sport tires (I'm a girl and even I know that's a really bad idea for wintertime!), I decided to stop in at Les Schwab and see if they could help me. The first guy I talked with was very nice and doing the best he could but with my tire size, he wasn't having any luck either. I was given a few options but it was looking like I wasn't going to be getting any tires until spring...Then Raleigh started calling stores looking for some tires that were comparable to the ones I wanted until he found some. Now I will have a great tire that will do very well in our winter weather, with a 60000 mile warranty and THEY WILL FIT MY CAR! It didn't matter that it was the end of the day, or that I have a weird tire size, these guys were willing to put in the work and find me a tire that is safe for wintertime. That is phenomenal customer service! Thank you guys!

I went in for a tire rotation and inspection of the suspension on my Jeep. They came out and greeted me while I was still in the parking lot, addressed me by my name, and had the truck in the shop within minutes! These guys are on their game! Knowledgeable, professional, and great to interact with. The shop is well kept and the technicians are awesome. Les Schwab Tire is highly recommended to all!

These guys are awesome! I was traveling through Gillette on my way to Montana to pick up my boy whose car had broken down, I had a flat tire as I got off the interstate. I was able to make it to their shop, they put my car up on the rack and fixed it. They got me right in, they got my tire fixed, and they sent me out the door and didn’t even charge me. These guys are really an amazing group of folks.

We got new tires from them and they did a great job. They found some problems on the front end of the car so we scheduled an appointment to get it fixed. The appointment was supposed to be for 3 hours. We waited for 6 hours because they had an equipment failure. They told us to come back the next day. We live out of town so we went home and had to change our plans for the next day in order to come back and get our car. We came to town and still had to wait for it to be finished. They made no offers to compensate us for not doing the job as we were told, for the extra gas or the hours hours of our time that they wasted. Update: We contacted the management as requested in their response. They said absolutely no monetary returns. So what kind of resolution were they talking about? They can’t give us back our time that they wasted. But the happily took our money for the time they spent working on the car. They won’t pay for the gas we used bringing two vehicles from out of town twice. But they happily charged us for the parts they used. Now we also have a tire that keeps going flat and have to bring the car in for a second time to be repaired.

As a long time resident of Gillette I can say I loved Plains Tire, always understanding and capable of meeting your needs either at a dollar ammount or a safety level. In Nov 2020 Les Schwab sold to Meritage group. An investment firm focused on "pooled investment vehicles" that's you. In Aug 2021 Plaint tire sold to Meritage group. These changing of hands made you a number instead of a person. You mean nothing if you don't have a fleet. The employees are the same, kind and understanding. Newly bound by robotic structure they will not take care of you the same. This is no longer Plains tire and having the name in the Google search is now an insult. Go somewhere else.

They where awesome, I even was able to go see what sizes looked better for my truck in the back and they worked with me on prices. Patrick was the sales person that helped me out and he should get a raise! Was very professional, highly recommend this place for tires! Thanks Les Schwab!

Took my truck here to get an alignment. They tried to give me a quote for $1,100 to replace two tie rod ends and both wheel hub assemblies. These parts were new hence the reason for the alignment. I took the truck to Tire-rama and they had no issues getting the alignment done.
