I was the driver of a bus to an event in Gillette that took place in August 2024. I drove from FL. On our way there, the bus started leaking about a gallon of oil every 100 miles. I need to get the problem looked at immediately and Chris, the co-owner, came through. We made it safely back to FL thanks to Chris. From the bottom of my heart, "THANK YOU!" Truly amazing people. I had a truck that needed few pallets moved around on the flatbed and they did it for free!!! I insisted them running my credit card but they wouldn't take it. Truly made my day. Thank you! I wouldn't hesitate to get my truck fixed here based on this experience.

A quick review to say thank you. Very good service, traveling across country with the family in the RV, had an issue come up crossing big horn on a Saturday when most places were closing, turned out to be a fuel filter. Very friendly service, thank you.

This place was great.. They helped me get my tractor to their shop.. There want a long wait.. The mechanic was very knowledgeable of the issue with my trailer lines.. The boss allowed me and my wife to use his personal vehicle to go get food being that we had been on the side of the road for a while.. I give this shop 5 stars for sure! Now we’re back rolling..

I asked for the price... Wayne said he didn’t have time and gave a quote that was over $1000 off the actual price of services. I paid and will never return. When I asked why Wayne started shouting at me. I was charged $3927.22 to replace a radiator and steer wheel. The US average charge is $1000 or less. Said it took 13 hours $1700.00 just for labor.

Lost air pressure in brake and suspension system in. 2007 American Eagle diesel pusher motorhome on a Saturday night. Made a few phone calls and Facebook messages and Wayne contacted me back. It was a cold, snowing Sunday morning and arrangements were made for a tow on Monday. Wayne called me back and asked for a few pictures of the service port and air compressor. After those were sent he called back and said he was on the way. 60 miles from Gillette to Sundance where we were stranded. We worked and diagnosed for two hours and Wayne got us back on the road. Excellent service and all around GREAT experience. Would definitely use Lightning Field Services again should I need it.

Giving 1 star because it won’t let me give 0. Was quoted $2000 for everything. Tried to charge us for an “emergency” time which we did not need nor did we authorize. After my husband went in and demanded to know why the charge, they said they would go back to the quoted hourly amount. They must have jacked up the price of parts because the bill ended up being TWICE the amount quoted. We have been looking for a good shop that is there for the customer and was hoping this was it. We will still be looking. Overcharging the customer is NOT the way to keep their business.

I had a great first experience with this shop. Wayne the shop owner answered the phone Saturday evening and had one of his mechanics to come over to replace leaking wheel seal on my truck. Blair who worked on the truck was efficient and friendly. Those guys helped me over the weekend when everybody else was either closed or quoted me double hourly rates. Their charges were reasonable. Lightning Truck Repair will be definitely my first choice when in need of repairs when running across this part of Wyoming.

Our Semi truck clutch went out on a holiday weekend, Wayne at Lighting Field Service got our truck in the shop and got it back to us that night, very fast service and great to work with Thank you!!
