I was referred to Lightning Lube by a friend. I went for an oil change and the service was fast.They added air in my tires and topped off the windshield washer fluid too. The man was very nice and I wouldn’t hesitate to go there again and refer my friends.

Omg moved into the neighborhood and needed an oil change. called and asked it they had time. The owner said yes, drove there, and they were the best, very clean and orderly, and was out of there faster than I thought. The owner took his time and answered my questions for a few things I needed to ask. He was very helpful. They give you a business card, and when you get it signed 5 times, you get the next oli change for $19.95 sweet.

I like how he is honest and very nice. He treats his customer with politeness and respect. He also offers discounts for repeat customers. 4 oil changes, 5th one is only 15.99. I would have given 5 of 5 stars but the reason is not cause of him or the service. It's cause at times he is pack and the wait can be awhile. Like for than 45 minutes. Not his fault for being busy so just an honest review. Keep up the great service.

Do not let these guys place a sticker on your windshield if you have tints. They use real stickers and it will take your tint off. Other than that decent for oil changes, prices are a little higher then most but service is good

Engine Damage, Shop I recently visited Lightning Lube to have my oil and filter changed. The service was satisfactory initially, but my last visit turned into a nightmare. During the oil change, a washer was accidentally dropped into my engine, resulting in significant damage to the camshaft. Upon returning to the shop to address the issue, I was shocked to learn that they claimed no responsibility for the damage. Their argument was that since I brought my own parts, their insurance wouldn't cover the cost of repairs. Despite explaining the situation, they were unwilling to assist, leaving me with a hefty $3000 bill for repairs. This experience has left me extremely disappointed and frustrated. The lack of accountability from Lightning Lube is disheartening, and I caution others to carefully consider their services, especially if bringing your own parts. The financial burden caused by their negligence has left a lasting negative impression, and I hope this review serves as a warning to potential customers.

I have been coming here for a few years on and off and every time I come back I swear I’ll never go anywhere again.. after this time I mean it! Exactly what you want… friendly staff, affordable oil change, nothing pushed on you to purchase, and fast! On top of it these guys got off my very rusted old license plate off for free. I was so happy! They go the extra mile. $50 oil change you can’t beat it!

There is no better oil change place in Chicago. I came here on a recommendation and didn’t regret it. Rich is the friendliest and most straight forward guy in this industry. He won’t try to sell you services you won’t need. I’ll be coming here from now on!
