I had a tire blow out on the Kennedy expressway Friday evening and was able to get an appointment Saturday afternoon. Life well lifed and I had to change my appointment. I was scheduled the very next day and my tire was changed quickly. I appreciate everyone help at this location especially Cordell. Cordell answered my questions although I was shaken up he was such a great help.

First, customer service at this location is top tier. They actually take the time to converse with you and address your questions. An associate did unfortunately give us wrong information about parts delivery, which delayed our costco tire center visit by 6 days only to find out they don’t have the parts, but Tiffany at the front and the guy who worked on the cars took time to address our questions and squeezed us in for a TPMS check. Tiffany was the highlight of this visit, she efficiently kept the line moving, while answering phone calls, all while being courteous, kind, and calm, she even apologized to the person on the phone for having them wait (I emphasize this because I’ve never witnessed that from Costco tires locations). This reflected well in how the customers responded to her regardless of their wait time.

Thanks so much to Felipe and Jordan for helping me out when I got a flat in the Costco parking lot! They didn’t have the right tires for my car but filled up my flat as a pancake tire with enough air to make it to the nearest place with compatible tires. It was so nice of them and saved me from having to call roadside assistance. I’ll definitely recommend this tire center to all my friends.

Cannot express my gratitude to Carlos and team for helping me out in a bind. Blew a tire completely out. Carlos was able to order a set of tires and get them next day by lunchtime for full 4 tire change and alignment as I needed to be out of state next day. . They finished within 45-50 minutes and I was on my way to Wisconsin for a trip. Recommend to any Costco member + the tire warranty is pretty solid !

I should’ve looked at reviews before coming to a Costco for a tire repair. They had ONE SIMPLE JOB — take out a nail that was in my tire and patch it up. They scratched the ENTIRE RIM of the tire! it’s the only rim on my car that’s jacked up because these so call tire techs don’t know how to do a simple job. And THEN they put on a green tire cap, when all of my tire gaps are gray. Why would anyone want an ugly green cap that is super noticeable! Just when I thought people don’t have brains. DO NOT TAKE YOUR CAR HERE UNLESS YOU WANT YOUR RIMS TO GET SCRATCHED.

I had an appointment today at 11.30am to replace all four tires, they only started working on the car at 3:25pm, four hours after I dropped the car. They are both understaffed but also poorly managed, as they are not working on the cars following the original appointment hours. The Costco employee tells me that the reservation system has changed and they are taking appointments even if they don’t have the staff. Avoid coming to this Costco until they get their act together or you will waste your whole day.

From the beginning, the staff was very transparent and caring when it came to replacing all four of my tires. I was told I needed to replace my lug nuts before my car would be worked on. After they recommended a local mechanic and I was able to fix the issue, they were still able to squeeze me in at 6:00 PM, despite missing my original 2:30 appointment. I truly appreciate the entire staff and definitely made a stressful day better.

Customer service is a JOKE. I had an appointment to have a tire inspected, but because my tire was from 2017 and I did not make an appointment to "replace a tire", they would not do anything for me. What is the point of a tire inspection if they wont do anything after their inspection? The tech sent me to Pep Boys... just flat out pathetic. Luckily Pep Boys was willing to sell me 2 tires. This honestly has seriously damaged my impression of Costco as a brand. I have always had great experiences with them and this was terrible... this experience will honestly have an impact on my shopping in the warehouse for groceries I am so angry. If I were Costco, I would either clean up their house in their tire department or just shut it down. They will just lose business in the long run by frustrating customers.

Had tires i bought from Sam's Club (BF Goodrich Advantage) which are the same tires Costco sells Tire center rep said tires needed to be within 2 years to be patched unless they were purchased from Costco. Previously tire patching cost $11 bucks at Costco in Champaign... So I feel that these guys are just making rules up. The tire center in Niles surprised me and did the patch as a warranty repair. Save yourself some time and just go to the tire center in Niles.

The lady at the exit (today 10;00am today )was so nasty to people walking out mumbling comments under her breath . I over heard her because I was in the return line.She had her I.d. Flipped around so her name was not visible . COSTCO PLEASE ADDRESS HER RUDE ATTITUDE.WE PAY OUR HARD EARNED MONEY FOR MEMBERSHIP TO SHOP. SHE WAS THE ONLY ONE THERE SHE WAS A BLACK WOMEN SINCE SHE THINKS FLIPPING HER ID WOULD PROTECT HER. SHAME ON HER.MAYBE SHE SHOULD NOT BE AT THE FRONT WHERE SHE MAKES COSTCO LOOK HORRIBLE.

Always make sure that they scheduled an appointment. When I came in for my appointment which I scheduled a week upfront, I was told that they don’t have me in the system and they are fully booked today and offered me to reschedule !!! Why do I have to waste my time driving back and forth?!!! Worst tire center!!!!!!!!!!!

I had an appointment to fix or replace a busted tire. There were a few wonky issues with membership/warranty and the tire size that I'd been warned might be tricky but these guys went above and beyond to help me out. Arturo, Cobby and Jen moved a bunch of stuff around to get me back on the road when they could have just said "Come back in 10 days." They were super friendly and knowledgeable and went above and beyond to make sure I got my warranty situated. They even put my spare back in my ridiculously messy trunk. Thanks so much guys! You didn't have to make that happen but you did and I appreciate it deeply!

I made an appointment online and when I arrived was told that the specific tire brand I had on my brand new 2021 car wasn’t one that they could do a tire rotation on. It was never asked of me what brand of tire I had and I wasted time in my day and wanted to flag this for others looking to schedule a tire rotation.

On 8/15/22 I arrived for my installation appointment having received Costco emails that the new tires were delivered to this location. I had called the location several times to confirm that the tires were received, but the calls went unanswered and no VM available. After shopping, I returned to check on progress and was informed that the new tires were not in the store. I was offered a choice of canceling or accepting a different tire model at slight discount. Not wanting to cancel and restart the order/purchase process, I agreed to the substitution. Costco Tire could easily have checked that the tires were in-store and notified me prior to my appointment.

Service was done as scheduled. Seems to be good so far. My only complaint is they’re quite inflexible in their schedule, minimal drive-walk-in service. They don’t answer the phone quickly. Essentially it was like internet service where I dropped the car and picked it up.

One of the worst auto repair experiences I’ve ever experienced. Went to buy four new tires, made an appointment, and chose the tires beforehand based on the size available. At the appointment the next day, they said because I don’t have a spare tire it’s policy that I can’t buy 4 new tires and I’m out of luck. They were really rude about it too, I was really taken aback by how I seemed to be wasting their time. Would never recommend, an absolutely awful place for any auto service.

Super easy install with an appointment, and got a deal through the Costco weekly ad. In and out in 30 minutes on a weekday near noon.
