As a first time car owner, Chris was amazing and literally showed me what was wrong with my car, how they fixed it, why they fixed it, and explained to me when to look out for stuff and take care of my car in the future. I’ve never written a review before but Chris was so friendly and welcoming too. He made me feel like family and like the questions I was asking were valid (even though I’m sure some of them were repetitive) I’ll continue to go back to Little Germany for my 2009 GTI VW!!! Thank you Chris!! - Bella

I recently had an overwhelming experience when my BMW wouldn’t start, although it was still cranking. After taking it to European techs, I was told it was the fuel pump and filter, and they quoted me around $2,500. Shocked, I decided to take my car elsewhere. That’s when I found Little Germany. From the moment I called, Chris was incredible! He guided me through the process and put my mind at ease. In just a few hours, my car was ready, and to my amazement, the issue was resolved at a fraction of the cost. The professional techs at Little Germany saved me so much money, and I couldn’t be happier to have my car back. If you have a BMW, Audi, or VW, I 100% recommend Little Germany. Ask for Chris—you won’t be disappointed! Thank you, Little Germany family, for your amazing work!

Our experience with Little Germany was definitely one we didn't expect. They over exceeded our expectations. Chris was awesome to work with and was honest and his team was fast on figuring out the problem with our 2018 BMW X5. We had a P10F5 code and CEL illuminated with rough idle and power loss. I was certain it was the Valvetronic motor and believed the eccentric shaft wasn't opening the intake valves like it should. I parked the car believing I was preventing further problems and car was parked for 8 days. On day 8 we decided to get car towed to shop because it wouldn't start. Turned out to be the battery all along causing all the faults and issues. They installed a new battery, registered it to vehicle so all systems knew the battery was new and the car is back to normal. We usually take car to BMW of Tucson and taking a chance on this independent shop was the right choice. I know we saved alot of money and we will be bringing our X5 here from now on.

My daughter is my world. She's 17 and wanted this GTI more than anything. Little Germany was suggested on multiple occasions and we finally were able to bring it in to Chris and the crew. I will never go anywhere ever again. From the second we walked in we were greeted with such with a smile and it put my daughter and myself at ease. We both were concerned not only about cost but also about what was really wrong with (Chadster) to begin with. Chris had us feeling not only validated for our concerns but also happy that we were listened to. Thank you Chris for making this momma feel at ease and for taking the time to explain to her daughter all the ins and outs of her car to put her at ease. You have no idea how much better we both feel.

My daughter's 320i check engine light popped on her way back to U of A from the Valley yesterday. I called Chris the next morning and had my daughter bring the car in. Even though they were super busy, Chris helped her right way with a code check and a simple fix. He reset the system and she was on her way. We won't take her car anywhere else for service ever again! Big, big thumbs up! Means a lot when your kiddo is away at school and you have someone you can trust look after their car. Thanks again, Chris!! -Mike

Had my brake fluid flushed on my bmw. Very nice people and quickly done.

Took my 2011 335i for a valve cover gasket and accessory pulley replacement. Soon after I picked up the car after this service, the car went to limp mode with a VANOS code. Chris and team diagnosed and fixed the issue. They have stood by their work providing warranty service after the car threw the same codes a week after services were completed. Knowledgeable team. Fair prices. Satisfied customer. Thank you.

We were 3 hours from our home in New Mexico when we got to our hotel in Tucson, the power steering unit of our Audi dumped all of its fluid. We knew nobody in town and were on a tight time frame. We were at the mercy of "Googling" and after quite a few "no we can't or won't help you" conversations with other shops were discouraged to say the least. I saw Little Germany's # and thought a specialty shop would definitely be too busy but I called anyway. The gal who answered the phone listened to my story said, hang on...let me ask, came back and said the owner said bring it tonight and he'll look at it. He discover the issue, called me right away to give a price and time frame to do the work, the next day we were on the road!! Our takeaway was that from the first contact person to the owner and mechanics, every person had a true desire to help, it was obviously the culture at Little Germany!! We couldn't recommend anyplace any more than the humans there!! I wish all business had their attitude. Thank you all, we are grateful and won't forget the experience!!

Chris was amazing throughout the process. He was professional and very helpful. The staff was friendly and kept me up to date. Will use them going forward for any maintenance and recommend to anyone.

I'm only giving 3 stars because they only work on little German cars not all German cars. Hence the name I know! Lol!

Best people, best service. Your vehicle will be loved by a shop that knows what they’re doing.

During a road trip, our BMW suddenly displayed a Drive Train error. We immediately contacted several BMW shops, including Tucson BMW and Group One Motorwerks, to diagnose the issue. However, despite our urgent need for assistance, they were unhelpful and refused to connect the computer to our car. This left us feeling frustrated and stranded, with no clear solution in sight. Little Germany came to the rescue! I had the pleasure of working with Chris at Little Germany, and I cannot express enough how satisfied I am with his service. As my auto technician, Chris was professional, knowledgeable, and incredibly efficient. He took the time to thoroughly diagnose and explain our issue to us. Not only was Chris an excellent technician, but he also had a wonderful demeanor and made the whole experience a positive one. He was friendly and approachable, and he clearly takes pride in his work. It's always a relief to find a technician you can trust, and Chris exceeded my expectations. Overall, my experience at Little Germany was fantastic, and that's largely thanks to Chris. I highly recommend him to anyone in need of auto service!

I bring the car in to have it looked at why it's never start sometimes now remind y'all I'm over the road trucker I the car was delivered there I lay the bill 508 over the phone while I'm working on the road to come pick the car up I've. Notice the car still had the problem I bring the car back up there and Chris could not answer or show the work they done on the car when I stayed something about some else will work on it I said it loudly enough for another customer could hear they Chris had been coming a trucker with intentions so the car just sat and 180 miles later the car still has the same problem 5 mthd later . MY SUGGESTION STAY AWAY IF THEY make money off u because no work has been done

I had them replace the clutch in my 2014 beetle. Cost was near $3000. The throwout bearing started going bad 20,000 miles after they replaced the clutch. (They replaced the throwout bearing). I came to them when I was 1000 miles out of warranty. they agreed that it was a faulty part and it was bad during warranty. I asked if they could help me out at least and that I don’t need it warrantied. They said absolutely. They then call be and say that I need a whole clutch kit and it will be $2000. They said the clutch was slipping even though it was just replaced by them. 50k miles later and the clutch works fine and the throwout bearing still makes noise. Weird that this time it was cheaper than the first time when they’re replacing the same thing. Rip off. No I’m not going to call you and listen to your excuses.

I wanted to leave a good review but I feel like I was somewhat taken advantage of. They did the work as promised and probably did it right. My only gripe with them is that they told me to look over and diagnose my issue that it would be $150. I stressed over the phone and before dropping off the car to not charge me more than $150. Upon picking up the car I was told it would be about 315 with taxes since they had to commit 2 hours in labor. My guy, that’s just kinda scummy overall. I’m financially struggling and we talked numerous times about it being 150. I didn’t choose to argue with you then Chris, because I just had a feeling you wouldn’t be kind and receptive to me feeling taken advantage of, and I really didn’t want to argue with you. I also didn’t take kindly to you just laughing off the extra money and putting your hand on my shoulder as a way to kinda say “well this is how it is”. Even if you did spend 2 hours on labor, we all know you don’t pay your techs $150/hour. Realistically you pay them 15-25$/hour so you pocketed so much extra money off me paying more. Even with the 150$ service fee to diagnose and look over the car, that is massively overpriced, and something you likely profit over 100$/service on. Don’t even get me started on the 300 dollar charge and how unfair that is. Regardless, I appreciate the work and it wasn’t a terrible experience. I do definitely feel taken advantage of. Also I understand you are upset I didn’t choose your shop to spend my money at for the work, but i definitely noticed a change in tone when I said I couldn’t afford the repair through you guys. Kinda felt like you wanted me gone the second I told you I wasn’t going to be able to afford your prices for the work and that I would do it myself. I’m not opposed to amending this review if you reach out and we bury the hatchet.

I was one of those really unlucky people who experienced truly "extenuating circumstances." My timing chain snapped and obviously we didn't know until my engine was already pulled out and taken apart. This was a very hefty job, and took many many weeks to resolve, but the owner and head mechanic were extremely helpful, kind, and empathetic to my unique situation. Although things obviously didn't go as planned, I am still giving them 5 stars for their efforts and patience. I have had a few simple services done at the shop in the past and experienced great service. 👍🏻

Little Germany has gone beyond customer service every time I have an issue with my E39

Little Germany is a find: a true-blue family-owned shop that takes pride in their work, staff, service. They are quite fair, easy to schedule, timely, know their autos (and Chris has a wicked sense of humor;) They only work on a few makes, but if you're lucky enough to own one, you'll be lucky when you discover this Tucson gem.

My 03 M3’s engine was out of time and they were able to complete the job quick, no-hassle, and for a good price. Car is running great once again. Chris is awesome to work with. They even let me know one of my tires was hiding some serious wear and tear. I have a set of PS4S on the way now. Would definitely recommend this place. Thanks again!

Dec 06, 2023

Recently took my 2012 Jetta for brake replacements and could not have been happier with the service. From drop off to pick up. The front staff are knowledgeable and professional. Competitive pricing and honest feedback about what work needs to be completed vs. what can wait. Will definitely be using them for regular maintenance and repairs.

Dec 06, 2023

Took my Audi a4 in for some noise with the suspension, not only did they try to charge me 600$ for one bolt, they ended up telling me I had a “massive oil leak” that would cost 2 grand. If you know anything about cars you know a valve cover gasket costs like 20 dollars and it’s easy to replace. They are trying to scam you, I highly recommend not going here. And if you do make sure you know how much your repairs SHOULD cost before you go, extremely dishonest abd deceiving. Not to mention my car was in the shop for 2 weeks and they didn’t even tell me what they were replacing before I got there to pick up my car and they handed me a bill for something I didn’t even approve.

Chris and Kelly are amazing. They are all around good people and they not only get the job done right the first time, but they stay in communication with you should they hit a snag. I wouldn’t take my Audi anywhere else. Good prices, great people, amazing work. It’s a no brainer
