Back on January 23rd my partner and I had talked to one of their girls at the front desk over the phone (we live over an hour away) about tire prices and possibly payment options. After several minutes of discussing different options we had settled on 4 tires for roughly $520 at something like $25/week. I asked for confirmation repeatedly that the payments would be $25/week for the total of ≈$520. The girl got on and off the call a few times to speak with a crew member and repeatedly reassured me that was the cost and payments were “same as cash”. Meaning that there would be no additional interest on the payments. Due to me being violently ill at the time my partner made the drive to Jonesboro by themselves to get the tires that same day. Customer service was trash and should have been a red flag from the beginning. They asked for a name and took the keys, but not much else. They communicated very little, were seemingly talking down to my partner when she had questions, etc. It was in no way a welcoming feeling and had my partner very flustered and overwhelmed before they ever got to the payment process. Now they bring the keys back up and slap a contract down on the counter and ask her to sign it. Yes I know a contract should be read thoroughly. However, they flipped through it so quickly you couldn’t actually read anything, continued to reassure her it was the same agreement we had made over the phone, $25/week “same as cash”, handed her a pen and was rushing her to sign and get out. The first payment ended up being $28, but no big deal. We just accepted that there was a difference due to taxes or a convenience fee or something. Then when she got home I was looking over the contract and figured out that they put $28 for 36 weeks/9 months. That makes the grand total for four tires $1008. And makes the last payment date September 24th. I was infuriated, but a contract is a contract and we should’ve read it better. So we sucked it up and accepted our loses. We set up autopay and went about our business. But then Oct. 1st rolls around. One week after our payments should’ve been completed and they charge us again. And then the next two weeks they continue to charge us. So as of this morning we were 3 payments over making a total of $84 that they owe back to us. I called up to the store and explained that our payments should’ve been fulfilled weeks ago. The girl on the phone tells me that they’ll refund the $28 this week, but that I’m wrong and payments ended on Oct. 8th. And then as I was trying to tell my partner what was being said as she was sitting next to me the girl on the phone hung up on me. They did indeed refund ONE week’s payment. But I can say with absolute certainty that I will never give this place my business again, and I would recommend any other tire shop before this one. They’re rude, sneaky, ridiculously expensive, and quite frankly a little skeezy.

Amazing people and great service! I went in with the mindset of I’ll be staring at my phone for 2 hours after I picked out what I wanted but NOPE! The staff kept me talking and was so much fun to be around. We laughed and joked until my truck was done. Even kind enough to give me a bottle of water and a moon pie lol, but then they loved how my truck looked so much we all took a picture together for their Facebook page. Will for sure use them again

I had to have tires for my suburban and so glad I went to Local Tire and Wheel! The staff was professional and friendly and I got a great price for tires plus 9 months same as cash! For $26 a week they got me 4 tires and it was fast too!

Now the product I received was excellent. It’s the cocky and rude Manager Marcus who is the BIGGEST problem at this location. I have never been spoken to so rudely. This business failed to tell me I was going to be passing the 9months same as cash date. I called weekly to make payment they get into your account and CAN SEE the date approaching and can’t say a word to you??? I understand that I have a copy of said contract but let me remember the exact date? No. Now do I have time to dig up the contract. But y’all can see the information, and I was told I would be notified with reminders. Worst service I have ever encountered. This manager lets his title go to his head!

Well let’s just say that Jenny Carter at Local Tire and Wheel is hands down amazing. I’ve bought not only one set of tires from her, but a second set and now a set of rims.
