Stopped by the Western Ave store to set an appointment for battery replacement for my car. Employee said if I had time it could be done right away. This was on a Saturday morning. They were busy. Took a total of 20 minutes from when I walked into the store to the time I left. Very surprised it was so fast, but very pleased with the quick turnaround!

Great service. I was in an out. They also explained what other services I required apart from what i came in. They explained in detail and were very friendly. The secretary explained all the prices in detail as well and let me know I wished to continue with the other services o could at a later date no pressure. Thank you Lucas for your fast friendly service!

Really great service and nice staff but wouldn’t recommend, unless you’re going to leave your car and come back. The office/waiting area smells like cigarette smoke - and for good reason. When I went to the bathroom, there was a guy openly smoking in his office 2 doors down. Recommended as long as you don’t plan to wait there for your car.

Great service at a reasonable price! My check tires light kept coming on days after I'd reinflate the tires and I knew I'd need to fix this before going out of town later this week! After a recommendation from Costco, I called Lucas Tire and they were able to look at my car right away. They repaired the apparent nail punctures and resealed the rims on all 4 tires while I waited. The fee was super reasonable and now I can go on a road trip in 2 days without being worried about getting stranded in the middle of Indiana! No one wants that! 😂 Update: after losing a fight with a manhole cover, I went back to Lucas Tire and they replaced my tire far quicker than they said it's take. They went above and beyond my expectations.

Stopped in without an appointment because of a leaking tire. It couldn't be patched, but the new tire was on and I was out the door without delay. Great service and price. Will be back next time I need service.

I took my car to Lucas yesterday near closing time. There was a screw that punctured one of my tires, causing a very slow leak. I asked that they repair it. Rather than simply pulling the screw and shoving a plug into the hole (a very typical repair), they did a far more thorough job by dismounting the wheel, removing the tire, removing the screw, inspecting the tire, patching the interior, remounting the tire, rebalancing the tire and wheel assembly, and remounting and properly and properly torquing the wheel tire assembly to the hub. It was a little more pricey than I had expected (but nothing major) because I only expected a plug. I am delighted at the comprehensive job. It was worth every cent of the upgrade as it is a fairly new tire and I can now be confident that this issue is totally fixed. Highly recommended.

The team at Lucas fixed my flat tire from a nail puncture quickly and the work was done right. The attendant Dennis told me what was going to happen through the process, in layman's terms, and updated me as needed. The waiting area was clean, comfortable, and quiet. Glad they were open on a Sunday - not many tire repair shops are!

We have been going to Lucas Tire for almost 20 years! Why? Because Rich and his team have always taken care of us and I completely trust them with every car we’ve owned. From a basic oil change, to helping us buy an extended warranty, Lucas Tire has always been here for us and our family. Getting my car serviced or fixed is something I never have to worry about. They do great work and treat us very well. I whole-heartedly recommend Lucas Tire!

Great service I had tpms check on my dashboard I stepped by lucas tires they found 2 of my sensors weren’t working they fixed it and the tpms sing disappeared from dashboard

I can’t say enough wonderful things about Lucas Tire and Autocare ! The staff are friendly, knowledgeable, honest and fair. Their prices saved me money from a competitor nearby that wanted to charge me $500 more! As a woman I feel comfortable when getting my car cared for there. I originally went there for Tires… I first called Costco but they said they were busy and recommended Lucas Tire. Rich the owner is great! The women that works there is so knowledgeable and the guys that work are respectful and helpful. I feel lucky to found Lucas Tire !

I took my 2014 Chevy Cruze to Lucas Auto after dealing with the frustrating check engine and track stability lights for quite some time. The team, especially Denise, Derrick, and Rich, were incredible throughout the entire process. They diagnosed the problem quickly and efficiently, and most importantly, they were honest and transparent about the work that needed to be done. What impressed me the most was their genuine care—not only did they ensure the repairs were done right, but they also followed up with a call to make sure everything was still running smoothly. Lucas is a great find for all your car repairs. I drove by in need of an oil change and they did a great job at a great price. Much better than Jiffy Lube the care and time they take with you and your care is unparalleled. Highly highly recommend.

Their customers service is amazing. Definitely the best mechanics i have met. They r friendly and their prices r more than fair. They explained things 2 me in order 4 me 2 understand. I got new tires, new battery and new brakes. Also they got me a $400 credit because i had an extended warranty thru carmax and they covered it

I Called to see if they had a tire that I needed in stock. Spoke with a manager and he let me know that I was in luck that they did have my tire. (225/70R19.5) I showed up just to have a worker not wanting to do the work on my truck. Horrible service and a total waste of time. I do not recommend

Lucas Tire & Autocare is the place for me💕 A few years ago (2019) I needed new tires for my 2015 Lexus 350- The price I was quoted for new tires was $700 for each tire- A friend referred me to Lucas Tire and Autocare and I was able to afford 4 new Tires- and guess what- 2024 4 New Tires!!! Lucas Tire was a great professional, experienced service. I brought my car in for an oil change but asked them to check my brakes. Their thorough diagnostic testing was enough for me to continue using their services. They gave me a very complete estimate with an option to choose a cheaper alternative. I went with their recommendations and was not shocked at the final bill. And after I picked up my car, they followed up with a call asking if I was pleased with their service! I love the idea I can trust my local car service company!

These guys are so talented without a doubt, I bring it in for maintenance and fluid changes they are able to get it back to me in a matter of hours. I had an issue with my starter I told them about it. They didn’t replace it they fixed it somehow well worth the price and well worth giving these guys a shot. Definitely the best spot in and around Chicago for mechanical work for your car.
