Best shop in LA! Everyone here is kind, honest, and extremely knowledgeable of their work. Fixed my check engine light issue the same day I dropped it off. The first place I brought it to tried to rip me off and charge me thousands of dollars for repairs I didn’t need. I bring it to Lucy’s and I get a price quote and honest diagnosis. Avo even went out of his way to help me get discounted parts. This is the most honest auto shop I’ve ever seen. I’d absolutely recommend this place to anyone looking to get a good honest car service done.

A fair and honest shop, everytime I’ve been here I left feeling like they gave me a great price and quality service. Today I came in at 8:30AM and although it was busy, Avo listened to the issues I had and immediately had someone working on it. Within 40 minutes he had finished changing my tire and gave me guidelines on the rest of the issues which would be covered by the dealer. I only trust the godfather of pico with my car

I have been going to Lucy’s for years. I’ve been to many other mechanics in the past and there is a reason I now only go to Lucy’s. The owner Avo is honest…if you don’t need something done he tells you. No upselling, just honesty. Fair prices and good work. I will continue going there as long as they’re in business.

Avo is the godfather of Pico. He’s professional, smart and caring. I needed major repairs on my green Toyota. He did an excellent job. Staff and employees are nice and friendly. I highly recommend this shop 💯

Called for a quote, immediate reply of $10,000 because "why not," and then asks me if I'm bringing in part or not and when I said I can, his reply is we don't do that, which is fine but why ask then. Unnecessarily weird and aggressive when I'm simply looking to get a job done.

I wouldn’t recommend any other place around the area. I found Lucy’s off a large list of auto / repair shops around the city. I spent a couple weeks calling places and pulling up to get estimates for the cost of the damage from my accident. It wasn’t looking too good because almost everywhere I’d check in with were clearly trying to overcharge. When I drove into Lucy’s, Avo met me with so much warmth, it almost felt as if he was family from the get go. He gave me the fairest and most realistic estimate from anywhere else I took my car to. Throughout the entire process he communicated promptly and honestly - with me and the insurance - making the entire thing easier than ever. I can’t express enough how much i appreciate my new uncle and this shop, he truly is the greatest.

There isn’t a better experience, a more thorough level of service, or a more honest evaluation of what is EXACTLY what is wrong with your car than Lucy’s. Being able to rely on their expertise as well as their honesty is everything. I will not go anywhere else.

He is a liar!!! PLEASE make sure you get everything in writing. He would charge you more money saying that other parts need to get change. You know it’s definitely not true when you know a bit of cars, and know he is lying. All he is doing is trying to make money out of you. I DEFINITELY DON’T RECOMMEND HIM!!! I Had a horrible experience!

Only had to get a few minor things done, but having just moved to the area and looking for a mechanic, Lucy's has been great. I don't see myself going anywhere else anytime soon.

Avo and everyone who works there are the best! Had to go in for a less-than-ideal insurance claim situation due to a stolen catalytic converter and they were super nice and helpful. They were really accommodating and got my car back to normal in no time. Definitely recommend this for all your car needs!

Drove in from out of state on a Sunday night and my brakes made a strange sound. They took my car right away the next morning and had it all done in a couple hours. Cost was very reasonable and everyone was friendly and helpful!

A great and trustworthy place. I went because it had been a few years since I’d had my car inspected. But I was anxious as a young woman that I’d end up paying for things I didn’t need. He checked my brakes, oil, and coolant and said everything was fine and he didn’t charge me anything. I feel really lucky I came to Lucy’s. Also, the prices for services are on a board in the office so you know what you’ll be charged and that you’re not getting up-charged. Definitely recommend!

I could write a novel about how awesome the Team over at Lucy's is. Avo says check out this car instead of telling them what to specifically look for. Keeps everyone honest and above reproach and just instilled a lot of confidence in me. As long as Lucy's is up and running, that's where my car will go get fixed.

I had a positive first experience with the female manager when I brought my BMW in for a service. It was more expensive than I expected at $1800 but the service was quick and she was lovely to deal with. At the time I showed some pictures of body damage to my partners car and was told it would be easier to just replace the door with another used Mazda door for around $400. We brought her car in to be looked at and was told they would buy a replacement door and install it for $700 and if there was any paint difference to paint it for free. Next day the male owner called to say it would be $1300, almost double what was paid for and quoted. I spoke to him on the phone and said it was unreasonable to double a quote and we no longer wanted to proceed with the job and he agreed to refund the door (aggressively). No work was done at all. That was over 10 days ago and we have not received the refund and now have to file a dispute with the credit card company as they refuse to refund the money. We went literally 100m down the street and had the whole job done for $400 including install at one of the many other mechanics on Pico. Its a shame how they have treated us as customers as I would have been a loyal customer if he had acted honestly and live locally.

I have found my new mechanic. George took my call and had someone who could help me call me back, and they called back. The office clerk Jennifer was polite, patient and professional. Avo was patient when I ran into snags with my extended warranty company. Tony explained things to me in a way that i could understand. This is the only mechanic shop I've been to with a fresh fruit bar. Overall my experience here was wonderful. I have already recommended them to friends.

I took my car in to this shop I've used a couple of times because I had a coolant leak. Avo said it was like an $1800 repair, so I used may warranty to cover the cost. I followed up with the warranty company, and he tried to charge them $2400. I called him on it and he started with these crazy reasons over the phone that made no sense. Then, he submitted the right amount to the insurance company because he was trying to hold my car hostage for the false payment. I go to pick up my car and he tells me he was going to do some other work for me and not tell me with the additional money he charged the insurance. I'm thinking no you weren't, that's illegal and the services he mentioned had already been done. He admitted to trying to do insurance fraud to me with another customer in the office. I no longer trust this shop and I'm truly disappointed.

If I could go back in time and do anything, it would be to go to a different shop when my prius starting having issues. from communication to the quality of the repairs, lucy's was a nightmare from start to finish. It ended in me having to sell my car for parts to lucy's, who lowered the agreed upon price by hundreds of dollars each time we discussed it. Literal. Nightmare. I can't help but wonder if I'd still have that car if I went to ANY OTHER SHOP.

Lucy's auto has outstanding integrity. Professional Mechanics. Extremely fair pricing and they don't take advantage of you. You feel like you're part of the family when you walk through those doors. If you've tried any other mechanic shops, try them now, you'll get the best.
