I had the most upsetting interaction with this company. The older woman who works behind the counter is extremely rude and harsh, she also decided to put her hands on me. I was brought up to respect my elders so I asked her firmly to please remove her hands. I dropped off a vehicle they told me it was a simple fix. It would take a little while for the parts to come in and they gave me a quote of about $200 to adjust and make sure all four doors lock properly. Several days later, I received a called by the mechanic. That there is another problem. And it's going to be an additional 3 to $500. I told him go ahead order the extra parts. Several days later, after he said that, everything would be fixed with those couple parts he calls again. He wants an additional $800. To fix literally 4 door locks on a 20 year-old, pick up truck that belongs to my teenager. From under 2 hundred, we went over $1500. I told him not to do anything else. And I was coming in to pick up my son's truck. At which point I was insulted yelled at and treated terribly. When I arrived to pay and pick up my son's truck they refused to take my credit card and told me cash only. I was never told that this is a Cash Only establishments and the mean lady behind the desk once again showed her true colors and said "what's wrong... You don't know how to read?" Points to a sign the size of a business card on a wall filled with pictures, posters, and calendars. I left to retrieve the cash. Came back to pick up my son's truck. Once I returned, the manager, which is the woman's son, apologized, said everything was handled incorrectly. The mechanic should never have called me. And everything should have been put in writing which nothing was. He offered to try and correct what had happened by only charging me for the parts in exchange for not pressing charges against his mother. How did we go from fifteen hundred dollars to two hundred and thirty bucks? That was what was charged. With all this said and a week and a 1/2 later. My son's door locks still do not work properly 😒 We are talking about simple doors on an old vehicle. This place is a rip-off. The people that work there are disrespectful. I would stay clear.

I have attempted to use these mechanics 4 times in the last 2 years. The first 2 I gave them a pass as I was rebuilding a car and he did not want to to the work, allthough he certain made time to Insult me and the car I was rebuilding. The latest was my convertible top malfunctioned, Needing to clear the codes to reset. This uses the diagnostics used on most cars since the early 2000s. I was met by the same condescending employee, 'What do you need?!?!' Nice. I explained the situation, he curtly dismissed me and said we can do that, turned away and walked off. I doubt that they do not offer diagnostics, and I certainly know that the condescending attitude was unnecessary. I will gladly pay more at another location Also I will make it a point to tell as many of MY customers how I was treated and the attitude I was given on 4 separate occaisions. I went to another mechanic, the problem was fixed in under 15 minutes. Apparently this shop doesn't discriminate, I do not know why , BUT I DO NOT CARE. If Ludek's doesn't have the proper diagnostic tools to perform a basic operation. How can they be trusted to do more Intricate work. Quick review, been to Ludek's on 4 separate occaisions, last 2 were to deal w something that was an easy fix (atleast it was to a real mechanic) it was fixed in under 30 minutes total. I had a feeling that Ludek's was withholding services, pure discrimination. How else can you explain what was done. Only gave 1 star because it was the LOWEST option. the employee in question used to drive a 740i that was converted into a pickup truck. If the employer would like to know which employee

I was stopping by Ludeks to purchase steering wheel fluid. When I arrived I met with Jr, he not only filled up my steering wheel fluid but also my windshield washer fluid and blew out the drain holes in the sunroof. Gave me great advice on my wife's car and recommended a few changes. This was my first time visiting their shop, very professional, knowledgeable, friendly and didn't charge a dime for all they did, shocked! I definitely recommend their services, and I will be taking my wife's Mercedes there from now on...thanks again Jr!

I've always had very good experiences with Ludek's. My BMW is 11 years old and a few things have started to wear. They manage expectations by clearly communicating the issues, costs and time it will take to fix and deliver my vehicle. Dana has been my mechanic and I've spoken to him several times about the issues and he's always explained in detail what the problem is. Note, they are a cash or check only business, no credit cards.

Ludek is a very honest, diligent and punctual auto service place. The owner is extremely knowledgable and makes the extra effort to safe his clients/customers money in labor and parts. I have been to many auto repair shops as well as dealers and he is head and shoulders above the competition. For the last 10 years Ludek has worked on all of my vehicles from SL 600, AMG 63, Bentley, Lexus and infinity. I trust no one else with my cars. In this world of materialism and profits at all cost it is refreshing to to find genuine integrity and honor. Thank you Ludek.

I went to Ludek's shop because I had some lights come up on my BMW 328i. He took in my car, and after some hours later, called that I had two issues with my car: 1) Front ABS Sensor was out. 2) DMTL Emission pump needed to be changed. He quoted me around $740 in parts + repair costs. After I told him that this is not in my budget to pay for such repair costs, he then turned around and told me that I needed to pay $120 diagnosis fee because I wouldn't want to fix the car at his shop. Something I was shocked about because he was NEVER upfront about the diagnostic fee. (if there is a flat fee for diagnosis, then please state it UPFRONT to the customer not later on - its very shady to do business like this) I took the car from his shop, and took it to another shop down the road, where they were able to fix both issues at a cost of $200 (that's $540 less than what he quoted me!!!) P.S. The diagnosis @ his shop means that he uses an OBDII reader (you can find for $10 on Amazon) to get the error codes (5 mins job) & then relay them to you on the phone. (he charged me $120 for this service)

Just called this place and the guy clearly has a temper problem. I asked a few questions due to my lack of expecience with car installments, and the guy on the phone (most likely a manager) instantly started to yell at me through the phone. If a guy cant handle a phone call, I highly wouldnt trust this individual to touch my vehicle, he would probably messed up my vehicle out of frustration because he has personal daddy issues or whatever. Based off a phone call I can already tell what kind of establishment this company has. I'M OUT.

Ludek's is fair, reasonably priced and most of all very knowledgeable. They do it the way I'd do it if I had the time and the equipment and the expertise. Highly recommended.
