Was fantastic. Took my truck to a different shop first, then went to lugnuts for a second opinion. Lug nuts found the actual issue and fixed it for a 3rd of the price.

Lugnuts have a great team of honest mechanics. Whether you hack jobbed your Youtube DIY, or you have no knowledge about cars. They'll take care of business in a timely manner. Don't expect to get a peep out of Patrick, man is like the guy in 'Baby Driver.' He keeps it straight to the point, and he'll get whatever you want done if you ask. Just make sure to ask! Pricing is very comparable to anywhere else, didn't feel like I was getting robbed or screwed over. They're drop-in only! So show up early, and have a fairly clear idea of what problem you want diagnosed or dealt with. Thanks Lugnuts!

My family and many of our friends have trusted our autos to Lugnuts for many years. I can highly recommend their mechanical skills, their thoroughness, their honesty, and their dependability. Patrick is straightforward and to the point. I always feel our autos are safe and in excellent working condition when we drive away. And there is more money in my pocketbook than if I had taken my car elsewhere.

I have used Lugnuts for several years now. I just took them for the 1st time my 4runner someone ran me into those useless bike barriers & messed up my suspension & my brakes were giving me issues too. Patrick the owner said I don't think I can get it done by this week I told him no rush it was Thursday.. he called me Thursday afternoon to tell me the issues they found and the cost. I told him proceed and he ordered parts and had my truck back by Friday afternoon. I feel their prices are reasonable. Others might not feel that way but you pay for what you get. Your car is likely your biggest or 2nd biggest investment do not cheap out on repairs. I don't plan to ever go elsewhere.

This place has been wonderful. They've been reasonably priced. They take care of my car quicker than I expect. And are don't feel like I get screwed over with these guys ,they are awesome!

Charged me for rotors and pads only replaced the pads. Be careful update: patrick reached out in attempt to correct the issue unfortunately I had already had it redone elsewhere. Bumped the rating up a bit bc the follow up customer service was highly respectable. Thanks for your efforts patrick!

Highly highly recommend, brought subarau to another shop(Austin automotive specialists) where I was quoted @4 gs for work, went to Lugnuts for a 2nd opinion, and received a quote that was significantly more reasonable. Then when the work was started was informed I didn’t need a bunch of the new parts I was originally told I needed from the other shop. Car is running great and I really appreciate Lugnuts honesty and transparency. 5+ out of 5.

I really appreciate that I was able to get a quick and easy quote here without any hassle. So many other places wouldn’t return my call/email, tried to charge me for a quote, or insisted on doing a full diagnostic (even though I told them I already had one). The price seems very reasonable too! Labor at $135 per hour.

Patrick and his team are great! It’s amazing to know a super reliable mechanic as a woman. He was super honest and checked out the stuff I told him from another diagnostic. Super affordable as well! And he got it done very quick! I was recommended to Lugnuts by another brake shop because they didn’t work on older cars like my 90 reatta. So a great discovery on my end for Lugnuts :))

The mechanic sounds like a nice guy over the phone, and I’m sure he does a great job, but he requires cars stay with him for an indefinite long period of time. He quoted me 2 days or longer to get my replace my nut keys replaced on 2 wheels. It’s a 10 min job. Damn. Walmart was able to do the job 20 min before they closed. He also doesn’t do appointments.

This place is amazing!! I've been to Lugnuts multiple times and they always do a fantastic job and it's always was less than what I was quoted at other places. I've had issues with my car and there has been times they've helped me out of the kindness of their heart due to it being something they could not directly fix. Go here!!

I have had 3 different cars I have been taking to Lugnuts over the last 10 years. The customer service is great. I always feel like they are shooting me straight and if something goes wrong they have always taken care of me and fixed it. Cars breaking down for someone that’s not a car person can be incredibly stressful. Patrick at lugnuts has taken a lot of that stress out of it over the last 10 years. Thankful I found them when I moved to Austin.

More a point of information than a review. I found out upon driving up for a headlight bulb replacement that they do not touch European cars (Volkswagen, Audi, Mercedes, BMW, etc- they went down the list). I can't fault them for sticking to their preferences, but I wish it was on their website or elsewhere (it currently just says Import & Domestic, which seems to cover most makes). I decided to try them because these guys came highly recommended for general automotive repair from anyone I talked with. The folks who turned me away could not provide a recommendation for a different mechanic who services European cars, so I had to find somewhere else to go. For what it's worth, they did seem like nice people and I appreciate their honesty and promptness to not waste any time. I was able to quickly move on to the next neighborhood shop on my list to have the service performed.
