A couple Mondays ago I stopped for my usual coffee at a local Panera. When I came out of the place my car wouldn't start - not a sound when I turned the ignition. I called Lyle's at the suggestion of a friend, and April told me that I could have the car towed there but gave me a heads-up that they had cars they were already working and had promised those customers completion before the Thanksgiving holiday, so it might be a couple days for my car. That afternoon I had my car towed to Lyle's and dropped the keys with a "what's wrong with it" note in the night dropbox. The very next day I had a call from them at about 9:15 am. The problem was the starter and they could have it fixed that day. The price quote was so reasonable that I asked if they could change my oil as well while they were replacing the starter. That did that, too. They did an outstanding job with a very quick turnaround, and at a price that I could afford. I will highly recommend Lyle's for any kind of mechanical work you need to have done on your car. My car needs other work that I will schedule at Lyle's when I can fit it in. They are fair, reasonable, knowledgeable, friendly and they do very good work. Sign me off as a very happy customer!!

My whole family’s been coming to Lyles for years. Incredibly honest and fairly priced on all repairs. In an industry where trust and reliability are hard to gain, they are number 1 and will never lose our service! Highly recommended!

Matt got me in when I was in a tough spot and fixed my issue no problem! This isn’t the first time I’ve taken my vehicle to Lyle’s and it won’t be the last if something goes wrong. Great service and staff.

Matt was great. He gave us an honest assessment on my wife's car, when he could have easily upsold us on services we didn't need. I'm definitely taking all of my vehicles to him.

Phenomenal service! I had my car towed this morning thinking it would be weeks out, got a call and said it was ready for pick up! Highly recommend this place.

Exceptional, 10/10. Came in with an overheating/AC issue with my car that Firestone gave up on trying to find. About 15 minutes after dropping it off Matt gave me a call and already had it figured out. Both Matt and April were communicative, proactive, and professional, Matt even showed me how my radiator fan was seizing up with his thought process behind finding out the issue. Picked up the car same day. Will be coming here from now on and I recommend Lyle's to anyone.

Matt, April and their staff are some of the nicest, hardworking people I have ever had the pleasure of doing business with. They are honest and always a pleasure to deal with. Let's face it, no one likes to take their car in for repairs but if you must, then these should be your go to people. Thank you for always taking good care of me.

Lyle’s diagnosed an air conditioning problem on my truck. They only charged me $60 for the job. I was referred to them by Midwest tire service. I was very impressed with their honesty and work ethic. I’ve been looking for a place like this since I moved to the Omaha area over 20 years ago.

the new mechanic is very dishonest i took my car there on the word of a friend and my car ran worse I took it to another mechanic and was told he didn't do the work nothing. This guy is very dishonest , the shop is under new management and their bad people sorry to say. But please find a honest place this is not it.

I have used them since moving to Omaha 3 years ago, they communicate well, transparent pricing and make sure to get the repair right. They have worked on a wide variety of vehicles for me, a pickup, an suv, and subarus of many varieties. They’ve inspected cars prior to buying and selling and I couldn’t recommend them more.

Highly Recommend, let me share the story. My granddaughter relocated from S.W. Georgia to Omaha Nebraska recently. While there she was involved in an auto accident that damaged the rear axle on her car. After the car sat in her driveway for several weeks and not knowing what to do, she called her Papa for advice. I looked online for the closest repair shop and found Lyle's Complete Automotive. I called, spoke to April and ask if she could help us. April and the staff gave us an estimate of worst case and best-case scenario of what the repairs may be. After my granddaughter agreed to the possible cost, April arranged for the car to be towed to the shop, located a used axle assembly and the shop had the repair completed within one week. April kept us informed of the progress. We were expecting worst case scenario bill, but April was able to find some saving and passed those savings on to my granddaughter. Honesty, Integrity, Professionalism does not seem to be enough to describe Lyle's Complete Automotive. I would highly recommend this shop to anyone who needs automotive repairs. I don't think I will ever get to Omaha, but if I do, I am going to stop by and personally thank them for the great work! Steve T. S.W. Georgia

Honest working repair shop. They are usually busy because people trust them so you may have to wait a week or 2 to get an available appointment. Worth the wait!

I’ve lived in Omaha for 5 years and wish I knew about Lyle’s from day 1! They are honest, knowledgeable and fairly priced. We recently just discovered them and it is just a huge relief to know there is somewhere you can go that you trust to take care of any car needs. Would highly recommend to everyone!!!

Lyles is my go to shop they are honest provide excellent communication, service and no matter how busy they get it does not take away from the fact excellent service. Lyles has repaired brakes, tires, oil changes and even helped me get my sons car window installed and a reasonable price. Once my car warranty expires this is my go to. I highly recommend them.

10/10 . I have been going herr for years !! April and her team are amazing and I can't be more grateful for honest people. I got into a minor accident ( enough to where the car was not drivable) and I called April and she said "no prob tow it in, we will squeeze you in between appointments " . 2 weeks start to finish ( dont forget about everyone veing on strike in the automotive world) 2 weeks including wait time on parts and not having an appointment is pretty darn good !!!The paperwork after ( insurance claim) was a breeze ! They will not hand you a 4 thousand dallor estimate at every oil change.. ONLY and ONLY what really needs to be done. Please go see them ! 🙏

April is the face of Lyles, and she definitely makes it a place you want to go back to as well asI recommend it to others. You can not beat the honesty & pricing. So they did my brakes & rotors that should have been warranty out by Bill at AME auto, but he did not take the time to get me in, after breaks and rotors were only on for a year. So I took it to lyles and he got me right for a fair price. Maybe one day I'll actually meet the person who performs the work, but until then, thank you all. We sure need more honest mechanics like you

I personally have not had my car repaired there but my mother has and she absolutely really loves the place she just started using them about maybe a year or so ago and she's been nothing but happy with the work they've done with the attention that they pay to her and her vehicle by letting her know what all repairs are going to be needed in the upcoming future giving her a heads up on just things she might want to keep an eye out for. And that the pricing is very reasonable

I was visiting from Kentucky on business and my truck started to misfire. Thinking I can fix it myself I went to an auto parts store and bought parts. But my arthritis kept me from being able to do it. The woman at the auto parts store suggested I go to lyles. They were awesome, reasonably priced, and super nice and professional.

When my insurance company put in a request for a tow, no one picked it up. I contacted Lyle’s and they were there. Very reasonable and straight forward. They even took pictures of my vehicle when they dropped it off. Thank you you.

Amazing. Outstanding. If you are searching for a place and using reviews then this place is legit. From the moment I stepped in the lady at the desk was warm and welcoming. She had a very nice and pleasant consistent tone and they got my car in and out the same day. I rented a rental car for a few days but turns out I only needed it for a few hours. The technician came and explained what happened and it was overall a very pleasant experience fortunately enough for me. Had something to do with my pulley coming off and not being able to charge my alternator. 10 stars.

Five star(add bright neon) knowledgeable service and replacement parts are quickly available. The prices are very good and guaranteed to last. I purchased a battery over a year ago, metered ok, but they replaced ...no charge. I have years of truck and car repairs at Lyles Automotive, always excellent!
