Absolutely the best. I have personally been going to this shop for years and had work done on multiple vehicles. It I doesn’t matter if the fix was simple or a complete motor replacement, it was always done right. If any unforeseen issues arise during said fixes, Elisha or Marty always calls to explain everything that has been found. You can always rely on great work, competitive prices, and being kept in the know!! I would recommend hands down to anyone needing work done!

I’m a single mother and I have been dealing with Marty for over 7+ years. I have never asked him for a discount. I sent them referrals. Also, he was paid in full before doing any work on my cars. I was coming to Marty when he barely had any business and I stay loyal to this mechanic. The first time I had a problem with his work ,he talk so crazy to me, also using horrible language. This really bothered me because I’ve never disrespected this man. I didn’t go straight back up there, because of Marty’s display behavior. Also, he told me just because it’s squeaking is still should be fine to drive and I trusted his word. I didn’t want it to escalate. The problem continued so, I called him and let him know that this problem that was already going had worsened.. He’s the start using bad language with me again. He hung up in my face. Now him and his daughter will not pick up the phone for me. After spending $4000 and my van was not squeaking before you got it. I would expect it not to be squeaking once I get it back I told him about the problem. He said change the belts on the van and the squeaking should stop. I paid him for that service and the squeaking never stopped. It continue into eventually my alternator belt popped. My children and I were left stranded. Instead of Marty saying look it’s just a belt, come and get it fixed. He refuses to say that he was wrong and instead use horrible language against me. After being battered by him so many times I started speaking to him in the exact manner. He spoke to me. How would you feel if a mechanic took your daughter’s money and then treated her poorly afterwards. It’s not right the way you treated me, Marty. Your daughter and I have had many of laughs. I couldn’t believe the way she treated me as well The way that women are being treated by mechanics are horrific and I just don’t understand. . I also have another vehicle. I’ve been taking to him a charger. I paid him to fix whatever was running hot after getting the car back the next day it start running hot again and of course in a Marty’s fashion, he made it seem like it was something I done. It’s not right the way mechanics taking advantage of women

Came here on yesterday to get a tune up was told one price over the phone and in person then once the job was patched together he tacked on an extra 340 dollars and refused to give my car back until it was paid. I had to call Mpd and a few family members but my car was returned to me. I just know next time not to go to a shade tree mechanic even if he does have a shop

I will never refer anyone here after I was charged almost 3 thousand dollars for a used transmission I knew something wasn’t right but I kept driving until I got home upon getting home I called my husband and told him I felt like something was wrong with the car and that it wasn’t driving as I thought a car with a new transmission would it felt almost like it did with the other transmission so when my husband gets home he checked out the car and yes sure enough I was given a used transmission I called this location and the guy says that it was a brand new transmission clearly it was wasn’t anyways he tells me to bring it back in to be looked at so we did this time I’m charged $104 dollars for a diagnostic and he refused to give back my keys until paid at this point I’m having to take action

Very nice man charged me 275 dollars to do my brakes when I refused he said he was keeping my car until I paid. By the way my brakes weren’t bled properly I still had to pay another mechanic at least they were done correctly this time for not even half the price I paid here

Own a 2007 Grand Prix, last week during the winter storm my car died and "battery system failure" appreared on dash. When attempting to boost off, once cables were removed, the care would immediately die. Everyone was saying it was the alternator. Had to have car towed home. Once the snow and ice melted, attempted to have my car towed to a different shop on Thomas. While calling the shop to let them know it was on the way, they stated they were no longer on Thomas St. I googled and found M&J, called and asked could I bring it there and had tow truck driver re-route to their shop. They replaced a water pump and belt and my car is back on the road like nothing ever happened. They finished the work in a day's time, were super affordable and fair. I found them on accident but this was the best I could have made for my car and well worth it and I will definitely use them for any mechanic/car repair needs in the future. Thank you!
