I had a Ford Escape that they did a multiple point inspection on. They were very transparent, great communication and friendly. They’ll meet you where you’re at. No bs, no pressure to buy extra services or anything like that. They tell you what you need and what might need attention. Very straightforward

Called to find out how much brakes and pads were and they wouldn't even give me a price. Told me I had to bring it in for a diagnostic and I had to Pay for them to tell me what I already know what needs to be done. I already had the dealership tell me that my 2 year old vehicle needed rear brakes. I will not pay someone to tell me again whats wrong with it.

I had a newer used engine installed here, and while they did a good job with the engine itself, there were significant oversights in the reassembly process. The mechanic did not reinstall all the screws, most notably for the undercarriage and engine splash shield, and the mechanic completely forgot to reinstall the rocker floor shield. This shield protects the underside of the vehicle from damage and supports other undercarriage components. Its absence caused scraping damage to other parts when driving on the interstate within 48 hours of pickup. I now have to return to the shop so they can locate the missing parts from the trash and reinstall the parts correctly to address rubbing and dragging of other undercarriage parts. It’s concerning that such a large, necessary part such as the rocker floor shield was discarded, which should have been a clear indication that something important was missed upon reassembly. The responsibility to identify the missing parts has fallen on me as the owner, which could have been avoided with more thorough oversight and checks. This was my first experience with this company, and I’m hopeful they’ll demonstrate better attention to detail when I bring the vehicle back to resolve these issues. I will provide an updated review once the missing parts have been reinstalled and undercarriage secured correctly. On a side note, I recommend all vehicle owners take the time to inspect their vehicles and familiarize themselves with the parts to identify any issues after repairs to be able to identify missing parts upon completion of work. Without having hands-on experience myself with this vehicle and working with knowledgeable individuals on this vehicle in the past, I wouldn’t have realized screws were left off or parts were missing.

Had a really great experience. They were very helpful. My vehicle broke down and they got it in that day, told me what was wrong with it and was fixed by the next afternoon. Reasonable prices as well.

My experiences with them were so bad, I brought my 2003 car to have the brakes repaired and overheated, they charged me over 260 dollars for the diagnosis, and after they sent me a bill of 5,000 dollars, after I got the car back, I found it worse than before because the radiator was never sunk as much as it can't keep the cooler even for a minute, I write them all to tell them all this, they never answered me.

The Mad Hatter team was able to get my vehicle in on very short notice, during a Holiday week to have some minor work done. All of the employees were very well spoken and had a great attitude. This was my first experience outside of a dealership when dealing with car maintenance and this group went above and beyond to help! They were honest and descriptive with me on needing new brake pads and even showed me how bad mine were. They never pressured me to get more than what was needed for my vehicle, too. I highly recommend going to Mad Hatter for all your auto needs!
