Misdiagnosed my car. Real issue was a blown line ($90 part) and was quoted $1100 to drop the trans and replace the slave cylinder. Mistakes happen but they would have diagnosed it correctly had they done more than just a visible inspection. However the downrating is due to their bad attitude when I questioned why they were charging $600 for a $90 part. The guy got an attitude and said "Good luck finding that part." So I did....it took me 30 seconds to find it too!

Unfortunately I have to write this post as I have tried to privately reach out to the company to help us, and I have not gotten a response. Our vehicle got stranded in Tahoe and we towed it to Sacramento after reading reviews on YELP and checking their website that advertised "full service auto repair specializing in Ford". Our experience has been far from what the reviews say. We were contacted and told we had a faulty fuel pump after our engine light was on. We are from Southern California and trusted the diagnosis given over the phone which they said required them to drop the tank to repair. We authorized the repair, believing the diagnosis was correct. Two weeks later we still didn't have our vehicle repaired and were now being told it was possibly the catalytic converter. We inquired if the misfire was gone after the repair of the fuel tank and were told the gas fume smell was gone but the misfire was now minor. We had no choice at that point but to pay to transport it back home after we had already paid $1900 in repairs and the vehicle was clearly not repaired or drivable. Upon delivery we immediately smelled the fuel and saw the white exhaust. Transporting a vehicle is not cheap so unfortunately, we were out that expense as well and no repaired vehicle. As soon as we had it with our trusted mechanic, he had a diagnosis the following day and repaired the fuel injector issue. We had our vehicle within a week and running smoothly. I reached out to the manager, Chris, to see if we could meet half way on the expense since they charged us for something that did not repair the vehicle, nor the initial issue. I have yet to hear back from Chris although he took my information and said he would call me back. This company does not diagnosis the issue correctly and is not responsive in a timely manner once they have their money. Unfortunately we had no other choice but to follow reviews when we chose them. I hope no other family has to go through an experience like this. This is not a reliable company and I hope this review helps anyone who may be in a bind and relies on reviews.

This place is great. They really stand behind their work. Alex is friendly and very helpful. I had a minor issue and without any question they said come back in and my issue was resolved. Refreshing that they did not try and avoid anything but helped me going above beyond expectations taking care of me. Very honest and truly care about their customers.

This facility needs to change its name to Made in America/Made in Japan 1996 and up. I have a Mitsubishi 3000GT, I was wanting to change my timing belt the gentleman who answered the phone said they can't work on it because it is a 94. Not sure what the difference is between two years since it is the exact same engine from 94 to 99. The gentleman came off as if they really just didn't want to work on my car.

This is the place you want to service your vehicle. Prompt, knowledgeable, patient, honest and kind. My 4Runner’s transmission blew on the way to Tahoe. The Bay Area independent garage that services it steered me to MIA/MIJ to assess and advise. They were outstanding. If I lived in Sacramento this is the only place I’d ever take any vehicle I owned. Alex and his team saved me a bunch of money. Not only was the dealership milking me for money, they were making it seem as if my life was in danger but also not wanting to do the work and telling me the parts were unavailable. Alex reassured his work and guaranteed me that my life was save as well as my vehicle and didn't overcharge me for anything and was honest. If you're looking for someone who is straight up, knowledgeable and guarantees their work, look no further. This is the place for you!

Pre Purchase Inspection done here On may 17th 2023 on Mercedes Benz C 300 .. did full size inspection. Charged $154+Tax . I think it’s little expensive but satisfy 💯 percent Special Thanks to NATALIE M. Technician And CHRIS Service Advisor

These guys are awesome! Saved a pregnant lady the headache of wasting thousands on getting a junk car, will definitely he using their services again. Chris has been so kind and the other shop members that I've talked to were patient and explained things to me, made recommendations, talked while I sat in comfy chairs during the pre-sale inspection. This visit I worked with Alex. He was amazing, very polite and super helpful. He walked me through everything, gave me honest recommendations, and took the time to explain the real expectations out of my vehicle. I wouldn't say that my car is as good as new. It is not that kind of a story. Rather, I am super grateful to not be pressured into a ton of repairs that would not solve the overall problem just for the sake of a quick money grab. The mechanics that worked on my vehicle, and every staff member I encountered, in person or on the phone, from the bottom of my heart thank you so much. Whatever my vehicle journey from this point forward, I will always look to these guys.

I called this place because I was getting so much run around with other shops/Honda dealer just to get my car looked at and an estimate. This place had excellent customer service! Alex and Steven were amazing in communicating with me and not trying to sale anything to me at all or do anything shady. I left this place feeling relieved about my car that there was no major damage done and they even were able to get my car back to drivable condition at no extra cost to me. I can’t say enough good things about them and will definitely be back to do business with them again in the future.

Came here mid-September as I was looking into buying a 2nd Gen Toyota Highlander. I decided to come here to get a pre-purchase inspection done. The first Highlander I brought in I was sitting in their lot whether or not it was even worth having it inspected. Alex came out to me in the lot and free-of-charge looked under the front end of the vehicle proceeded to transparently tell me that I should go look at other options and to "listen to my gut". I felt much better bringing in another Highlander in. As soon as the inspection was done. He sent me a digital copy to my email. Very detailed with pictures and everything. He explained everything to me and the mechanic who did the inspection was very detail oriented. They did not try to "urgently" upsell me anything but rather broke everything down to "if the vehicle is worth purchasing". I ended up purchasing the vehicle and I absolutely love having the security in mind that I brought it here to be inspected before-hand. I plan to bring it here for future maintenance as that is all it basically needs to live for many years to come. After all, it is a Toyota that was well taken care of by its 1 previous owner. :)
