Mango Automotive located at 10340 Comanche Rd NE Albuquerque NM, exceeded my expectations. The staff was courteous AND they called me back when they said they would. A ride home was provided to me, courtesy of Lyft, at NO cost to me. The pricing was up front and concise. Unnecessary repairs were not pushed nor recommended. Overall their HONESTY and PROFESSIONALISM made for an experience for a repeat customer! Thank you again!!

I am pleased with the service I received. The staff was professional, courteous, and responsive. I received pictures of the repairs needed and the cost. Likewise, I received pictures of the completed repairs. I have had negative experiences with mechanic shops here in El Paso, but the service at Mango Automotive was attentive, honest and straightforward. I recommend them and will continue to use their services.

They fired the one good employee they had probably because he was honest. They told me I had a leak in my power steering, what they didn't tell me was that my car has an electric power steering unit and didn't take fluid. They quoted me over $16,000 to work on a car maybe worth $6,000.

I'm always very skeptical of automative care costs and the transparency of shops, but at Mango, I felt they communicated well throughout the process of inspecting my vehicle and made honest recommendations based on what they believed needed repair or service. They were efficient, kind, and made what is usually a stressful endeavor very painless! I believe their costs are fair, and the quality of the work is great. My vehicle was running wonderfully after I picked it up. I had my Tacoma tuned up with all new spark plugs and a transmission service done, as well.

Update: While it doesn't change my experience I was contacted by the manager of this Mango location and I could tell that they wanted to make it right. I'm glad to see that they care about their reviews and actually listen to people's concerns. While I can't justify a 5-star review due to my previous experience I will change it to 4 for the great customer service. This will be the last time I go to Mango. I've been a loyal customer for two years but this was just such a terrible experience. I took my car in for an oil change and to check my wipers as fluid wasn't coming out, I didn't get my car until the next day. They couldn't find the issue with my wipers so they wanted to charge me 170 dollars to FIND the problem and they wanted 300 dollars to change my brake fluid (the average is 150). Wanna know the kicker? MY WIPERS WERE WORKING WHEN I PICKED UP MY CAR. This just tells me that they didn't even check them and I honestly can't justify these prices and plain dishonesty. The people up front were pleasant and were the only bright spot in this experience. Save your money and go to a local place.

I came in for a full synthetic oil change and received an excellent deal on that due to a promotional mailer, but they also did full diagnostics on my car. I was impressed with the photos and explanations provided for each reported issue, and the office staff was kind and patient. I’ll be back! I HIGHLY recommend Mango Automotive. I’ll edit this review to include the front desk gentleman’s name.

I want to preface this by first saying, I tried very hard not to write this review. My mother and I, as the customers, tried to resolve our frustrations by calling and trying to speak with management, only to never receive any calls back. We took my mother's truck in for routine service, oil change and inspection. Mango quoted us several additional items that needed to be replaced, such as her brakes, front tie rods, and recommended replacement of her DPF (which was recently replaced last year). We agreed on the work. Grand total: $3,624.31. Received a call a few days later that her truck was ready to pick up, it was later in the day and so we waited until the next morning. Upon arrival we were informed that her truck was in fact, not done. While waiting, I could see them taking her truck up and down the road, presumably their "alignment" checks? The technician was adjusting the front end on the ground, without equipment, resulting in our most recent issue. After 2-3 hours, we took delivery of her truck. 2,000 miles later down the road and roughly 2 1/2 months. Her new tires on the front of her truck were bald, completely shredded and on the verge of delaminating. They did not complete an alignment on her truck, and in the process, generated a new $1,300 bill for new tires and an actual alignment. Disappointment does not cover how I feel about our experience. I'm more disgusted that they believe this is how they ensure your vehicle is safe, fixed correctly, and whatever else their hold message says after listening to it over and over again. I hope that others have a much better experience than we did, but please exercise caution.

I’m happy to find these people here in Albuquerque. Very communicative, patient, and thorough. They had a good online system of showing the results of their inspection with clear pictures, descriptions, and costs with a method of easily approving or declining certain services. But then they actually called me to talk about it and answer my questions. That’s the best of both worlds - modern, convenient tech with the old school way of talking to you like you’re a person. Went in for a drive belt issue and they knocked it put super quickly. Fair price. Happy customer.

My First time at Mango Automotive and I felt very taken care of care! Very nice people, walked me through everything that was going to be done. They even gave me a free air freshener that smells amazing! I will 100% go back again!

The communication was not good. I had an appointment scheduled for the morning so I dropped it off. I had just heard anything by 3PM so I called to ask they said they will try to look at it soon if not by early morning. The next morning I received no phone call, I had to call again to check up again. This was along wait to hear the battery was not working at full capacity.

We took in my Tacoma to get serviced we put in new spark plugs, new spark, plug wires and had a valve gasket. Replaced also had a new battery put in but when we got home, our backup camera was not working. We asked to tech and he said that it would be cycles And it might start working again. to let them know if it doesn’t start working it’s been two days the camera came on for one second but that is it

Courteous, exceptional service, all questions answered, good price for oil change. Multi point inspection revealed that radiator overflow needed a little top off. No leaks found. Top off was free of charge (my car is 4 years old, first time for top off). Windshield wipers replacement was advised (I already realized this before appointment). They offered to replace them, and then said alternatively, that I could purchase my own elsewhere, return to Mango, and they would install them free of charge. I feel confident that my car is well taken care of. Oil change coupon was honored. Work was performed in a timely manner, as described by office personnel. Free ride home (and return to facility) during wait time was offered. I decided to wait in office. Seating area was pleasant, free coffee and snack were offered, and available. AAA approved facility. (Morris Street and Comanche in Albuquerque, NM). Thank you everyone at Mango! I appreciate you, you’ve earned my trust, and will return for my next car service/repair!

I recently had the pleasure of having my Mustang GT serviced by Mango Automotive! Mango’s employees were friendly and courteous and politely answered any questions I had.
