I am a first-generation college student and just recently graduated from law school this past spring. I graduated with absolutely no savings and am starting off completely on my own. Unfortunately, my Mini Cooper broke down just two weeks after starting my new job. I brought my car to Martin’s Auto, hoping they could repair it as they had before, but too much damage had been done. They told me they could sell it to a third party for me free of charge and that any service/diagnostic fees would be waived. However, after signing over the title and waiting several days for the company to pick it up, I was only given $360 after they deducted the service (which again, I was told would be waived). Now I have absolutely no money and am left with nothing but disappointment and ill feelings towards Martin’s Auto. I will never bring a vehicle back here and recommend that everyone avoid this mechanic at all costs. As a young woman, I feel that I was repeatedly taken advantage of and mislead.

Martin's Auto Repair is hands down one of the best auto repair shops I have been to. Everyone there was super friendly, very informative, did a thorough inspection of my car, and helped me find the fix to my car in a timely manner. I will definitely recommend this place to all my family and friends. Thanks again Martin, Sarah, and everyone else working there!

Looking for a trustworthy shop? You found it. Looking for experienced, very well trained techs? You found them. This shop has a great owner (Dave) that’s honest, friendly and takes care of his customers. I had a very complex, nightmare type of wire job under my dash (that I tried to fix and made even worse). It’s near impossible to find a shop that will repair a wire issue and charge you more than fair price for the repair. These guys are my hero’s!! CJ is the man and a genius. Take your vehicle here.

another great experience here at martins auto! even with the busy memorial day weekend ahead, oscar was able to get me an appointment thursday afternoon for a brake check and even lend me a courtesy vehicle at no cost! i had brand new brakes and rotors (with a great warranty) on my car by 9am the next day! car felt great leaving the shop!! i received another quote for another shop, and would’ve paid double the price for services i did not need! i love that they give you auto reports to help you see pictures and categorize what needs to be done soonest, and what expenses you should plan for ahead. such an honest, trustworthy, and amazing family run business! thank god for martins auto!!

They charge an arm and a leg after they sacrifice your first born. 300% mark-up on parts and they don't even tell you their labor rate so you get a huge bill and don't know what it's for, it's obviously way too much.

Very accommodating to get my truck in and done. However. They want to charge for diagnostic services and add that to the repair bill/hours. So if a job takes 2hrs. You will be charged for the 2hrs labor and a couple hundred dollars of “diagnostic” fees. To me this is double dipping charges when the diagnostic doesn’t go towards the repairs. You can wave the diagnostic testing if you know the problem but they aren’t happy about that and don’t hide it well. I have used them in the past but unfortunately no more. The work they have done I will say was satisfying and solved my problems.

Been going to Martin’s for a few years now and couldn’t recommend them enough. I never feel pressured to do unnecessary things to my car. They keep me on track with car care by providing a detailed service report each time, again never pressuring me for expensive or unnecessary fixes. They’re honest and knowledgeable and a great place for your vehicle needs.

Great service for my car. They provided a shuttle ride back to my place while my car was being serviced. They also provided me a detailed report of service being performed and any other services I may need.

Called to get a quote for a broken AC for my 2017 Honda civic and Troy could not have been anymore helpful!!! He explained everything not once but twice and was more than happy to steer me in the right direction. Give this man a raise! Love a good auto repair shop with amazing employees eager to help out someone who knows nothing about cars without taking advantage of them. 10 stars to Troy and Martins Auto Repair

From the moment I called Martin's Auto Repair&talked to my service advisor Troy I knew this is where I wanted to service my BMW. Troy was very informative and professional every step of the way! He called me to let me know what they found during inspection and called as soon as my car was completed and it was completed pretty quickly!!! I will give them this, the customer service was very good and they communicated pretty well throughout the time my car was there. But man did they overcharge me for a rotor replacement. I got quotes from different shops and made the mistake of going to the shop closest to my work thinking it would save me time. It did not save me money though. They installed new rotors and used my original brake pads as they were still in good condition. The rotors I understood the charge, but 300 to sand down my pads?? The total was almost 1000 dollars to install new rotors. For this reason, I will never be back to this shop. If you work hard for your money, there are many shops that will do this work for half of the price with a warranty. I couldn’t help but feel taken advantage of. I can afford this, but I feel sorry for those who need repairs and go here. Get ready to pay up.

If you want incredibly competent people to service your vehicle, if you want quality service, and if you want to deal with a kind and accommodating team, then go to Martin's. They're only slightly less expensive than dealership, but the service is so much better. This is MY place for vehicle service... can't imagine going anywhere else.

Martin’s Auto goes above and beyond for the customer. I requested a diagnostic of a parasitic draw on my battery. Pat asked me about the battery, and I mentioned the battery had been recently warrantied, but died. So, on top of finding what drew the power they warrantied my battery again!! Any other mechanic would have tried and charged me again for a new battery. But not Martin’s Auto, they went the extra mile to make sure I left satisfied. I started going because I live close, but even if I move miles away, I will come back.

My car almost went to the scrapyard last week but I got a recommendation from a neighbor for Martin’s Auto Repair. Pat and Justin were AMAZING in helping me diagnose the problems, accurately repair, and they were generous in negotiating a price in my budget. They are trustworthy and so easy to work with. I didn’t feel any stress about it at all! I’m so grateful. Your comment was well timed and helpful. I can also highly recommend them. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

These guys are awesome!! Took them my 20 year old beat up Mercedes and they returned it to me running like brand new. Price was more than fair and repairs were completed quickly with no surprises. Could not have asked for better customer service! Won't take my car anywhere else.

They called me back for a quote on a simple job. He said the job takes one hour, but they need the car for at least four. Then he said even their oil changes don’t take just one hour. The guy on the phone was very verbose. and my time is priceless. I tried to Squeak in a question, and he took offense. Raised his voice with me. HORRIBLE COSTOMER SERVICE. Dude also said something about how he doesn’t get a break? I get it. It’s hot, but Don’t take your frustrations out on customers.

This was my first visit but won't be my last. Had to have my car towed and they had a company that I was able to just add to my bill. So convenient. Not only did they do a great job on the car they emailed me a report letting me know other things complete with pictures. No other company has ever shown me pictures. I was able to add a few extra things and still pick up my car at our agreed time. Very friendly and I did not feel like they were trying to take advantage of me. I sorta knew what was wrong with my car and other mechanics tried to tell me otherwise to charge more. So I thank you very much and you earned you a returning customer. 3/20/23 my car failed emissions. They are part of a program to help fix cars. The state will pay 900. Thanks to that I was able to get my car fixed and pass emissions. Plus get a few other badly needed things. The staff is wonderful and very Thorough. Told me everything wrong and they best fix. Will continue. Now my 1st choice.

What a relief to find a dependable and trustworthy mechanic. I have owned 9 cars and have lived in Phoenix for 26 years. My Dad and uncle were mechanics. Martin's and his whole staff are legit. Great customer service, fair pricing. They explained everything clearly and showed me all the diagnostics, what needed immediate attention and what could wait. My car isn't much but it's all I have to drive now and it's a great feeling to know I can maintain it without my Dad or uncle around anymore. Thanks to John who was incredibly friendly and social, like in the old days.
