Marvin is truly the kindest, honest mechanic I've ever met. As a woman, it has never been easy finding a mechanic to trust. He has great suggestions and the best prices in Chicago. The staff is always very kind and super knowledgeable. Marvin will always be my first call when an issue arises. Great quality work and quick! The trust I have for Marvin, he created. Update: Still adore Marvin and Lydia! Best mechanic in the world. Amazing quality work and always fast, but mostly affordable. I drive a 2006 Mazda and it was on its death bed years ago! Marvin has kept that car alive for over 5 years and running like no issues ever existed. Why trade in my car when I have Marvin? Referred people for years here and always the best feedback. I had my Nissan Sentra checked out because the engine light was on. It was missing, poor acceleration & shutting off. They looked at it and told me exactly what was wrong. Ever since they fixed it I have had zero problems. And that was a few months ago.

Won't take my car anywhere else. Honest and great/fast service. Extremely reasonable prices. Takes a lot for me to leave a review, but years of great service deserves recognition.

Came here because one of my friends recommended them. I'm not sure if they do good mechanical work or not, because the lady working the front was very rushed and spoke to customers in a rude way. Maybe she was having a bad day, but it was enough to make me go elsewhere. Not a great first impression.

Marvins Auto Repair is independently owned and run by Marvin and his wife. We moved into the building next door two years ago. The same group of mechanics have worked there since before we arrived and there is a family atmosphere in the shop. Although they are always busy, I have dropped my car off early in the morning and picked it up the same day on two separate occasions. I have not always had the best experience with auto repair shops which is why I am enthusiastically writing this review. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND this shop! You will receive an honest assessment of the needed repairs, pay a very fair price and drive away with the confidence of knowing the work was done right.

I have been going to Marvin's Auto Service for 20+ years. If I could give him 10 stars I would. He is honest, trustworthy and has reasonable pricing. I would hightly recommend him, the staff's customer service is superb. The best part id that he give customers proof of the work he does on you cars. You will be ingreat hands if you come to his shop.
