I definitely don't recommend this shop. It is an absolute mess inside. Totally disorganized. They overcharged me for inspection and I don't even trust that they know what they're doing. Don't go here, there are plenty of other shops in the area.

Great mechanic with good service and best prices around. Owner is Honest and doesn't try to sell you services or parts you don't need More businesses need to run like this. They guarantee their work. Not sure why someone said they didnt, never had a problem. And been going there for years.

Had my oil changed on Saturday and started smelling strong fumes everytime I turned the heat on. 3 days later I decided to lift the hood to check it out and noticed the oil cap missing and oil spilled all over. I’ve tried calling them over and over again with no answer. My mom last week had brakes down there and they smashed her back window out with a crow bar. They had it replaced but the back door does not shut tight and the light stays on. These people are very unprofessional. STAY AWAY. Our family lawyer will be in contact with them over this.

I'm putting two stars b/c I have to pick something, but wish I didn't have to put any b/c I just don't know whether to trust these guys or not. I went in with a "check engine" light on. They told me what it might be, and explained potential prices, and I thought it might be quick and easy, about $90 - $120 total. I ended up paying $360 or so. Part of the reason I felt unsure if that was a legitimate fix/cost was because I had mentioned that I just moved to NE Philly from Hawai'i. They said, "Oh, it's expensive to live there, people who live there have to make a lot of money, huh." I didn't explain in the moment that where I lived it was really inexpensive, and I had just spent my savings on the move to the mainland, to go to grad school. I searched online to see if the issue they told me they fixed was something that other people with my car needed to fix, and I could not find ANYthing supporting that my car needed that fix. When I went to pull away, the check engine light was still on, and they said they just needed to reset it. That I can believe, but it's been months since then, and I still continue to wonder if they took advantage of me that day. A sticking point for me was that they didn't tell me that the price they estimated had gone significantly up before doing the work. I was sitting right there, they should have discussed that with me. The next time I needed a small repair I went down the road to the Sunoco on Frankford Ave and they felt totally in integrity and trustworthy to me, very different vibe.

Called monday afternoon in desperate need of someone to look under my car & help figure out the horrible clunk I kept hearing...everywhere was filled to the max & tried making me drop my car off for the night just to get looked at..called joe & he told me come right on in & I'll take a look. Joe not only drove my car to hear what I was hearing but he put my car right up in the air & searched for the problem. He gave me an appointment for 8 AM the next day & had my car back to me within 4 hours. Joe replaced my front struts & gave me an honest fair price . I will be forever using him& his shop for all future car issues. I HIGHLY RECCOMEND THIS PLACE!!!! As a female I always feel like the mechanics are trying to rip me off but NOT here. He gave off nothing but good honest vibes. Thank you Joe!!!!

I would never come back to this place ever again, i came just for a oil change and look what happened, the person who did it left the cap open and my spilled all the oil i noticed my oil pressure light was on i knew something was wrong since that never happened. I came back same day fix it but they were closet had to run for oil so my engine don't suffer. I came next morning at 7am, He said his not responsible for it. I was like what?? And then he started to urge. Very very disappointed. Do not recommend this place at all.

Bought a car took it there for inspection cause the seller was paying for inspection through them. It “passed” inspection yet a week and a half later my rear brakes were grinding and had to replace the pads and rotors. All four tires were near ball to it on the head absolutely no tread on them and two of them were dry rotted and they had two different size tires on them. I take it back again a couple weeks later because of a really loud whining noise that I’ve had since about a week after I bought the car they said it was nothing that it might be the alternator and guaranteed me I was going to be safe and my 17-year-old daughter was going to be safe driving this vehicle that vehicle ran great no it’s nothing wrong with it the wind noise was OK. While my daughter was driving the steering locked up on her and she almost hit another car that was the same day they told me nothing was wrong with it here the power steering pump was leaking and it was no power steering fluid in the car which cause the steering to lock up but there’s nothing wrong with it
