I was out running errands, and I had a flat tire, I looked for the nearest repair shop and found Matt’s Auto Shop. Called and talked to Chris. Asked if they were busy, he said no come on in and let’s see what we can do to get you back on the road. I walked it and told them it was me that called a little bit ago. Chris and Matthew went straight to work to get me back on the road in no time. They are such a good shop and I recommend them. 10/10.

I had a good feeling about this shop after reading some of the responses to the low rated reviews, and I was proven correct! Most other shops would do as much work as they could to charge the highest price, but this shop acted acted to minimize my cost as they solved my problems even going as far to remove some charges after a miscommunication led to additional work being done-which is extremely generous and appreciated. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a shop with integrity!

These guys are awesome. Everyone was super friendly and super helpful with my car. I had made an appointment for a state inspection only, and after voicing some noise concerns about my very used car, they were able to take the time to drive it and diagnose it. My car had a check engine light on for a catalytic converter so we were all afraid it was not going to pass emissions. They were ready to give me options and solutions as to how to make it pass the inspection. In the end, they were able to do a safety and emissions inspection, diagnosis, and tag light replacement all for a very good price. I highly recommend this place. Will definitely be back!! Shoutout to Matthew and the guy with the backwards hat (sorry I forgot your name).

Matts Auto Shop has done an excellent job on my cars. I had Matt find a coolant leak which turned out to be a head gasket. I had been trying to diagnose this for some time. A 94 Mazda Miata, Matt did the head gasket and I asked him to replace all the rubber he touched while he was doing it. Not only did he do all that, the car is running great and he didn't gouge me for all the rubber parts/hoses he replaced. Fantastic shop and a great group of guys. I'm done working on cars haha! Just a quick update after 8 years and several more cars, Matt's is still my go to shop for all my cars, even the older classic cars I've had (from 1923 to 1999) Matt works on them all and cares for them well. I even have my own lift but after years of messing with cars I let Matt's do the dirty work now. Great shop.

I needed a rear brake job to replace the rotors and pads. I had a quote from the dealership for $856. It was more than I could afford so I Googled Brake shops and ran across Matt's Auto Shop. I told them what the dealership told me and they gave me a quote for $600 as long as it was just the rotors and pads so I decided to take my vehicle there. They were very accommodating and finished the job sooner than I expected. They also showed me the damaged rotors and pads so I knew they needed to be replaced. In addition they give first time customers a 10% discount, an honest ten percent, no hiking the price and then giving you the discount. I wound up saving $300 from the dealership price. They earned themselves a new lifetime customer!!!

Refused to look at car and made a bunch of useless suggestions and assumptions ("we don't deal with flood damaged cars", my car has never been in a flood) such as file with insurance, which I already had done years ago. Extremely disappointed.

I have a 1994 Pontiac Firebird 25th Anniversary Trans Am and am very particular about who touches it. Matt's Auto is the only place I trust. Their commitment to integrity, value and quality is second to none. I highly recommend them for any job you may need big or small.

My friend recommended that I go to this place and they have good reviews so I gave it a chance. Left spending $300 for them to give me an oil change and to tell me what my engine code was (they did not fix anything). Which is whatever, most places charge a lot for that. Then they told me that in order to fix my engine, they would only be able to use Ford parts (I drive a Ford) and that it would cost me $350 for parts and labor. Called around to some other places to see how much they would charge and two places told me $100. So ok whatever this place is overpriced, no big deal I'll just take my business elsewhere. But what I am not ok with is that they did not top off my liquids like they told me they did (my coolant was below the min line) and there was corrosion all over my battery that they never mentioned to me. I went to this place because I was under the assumption that they were "honest" and "fairly priced" and that they "take care of you". That is not the experience I had. They totally screwed me over and lied to me, so I will not be back.

Best car repair experience I've ever had. Creative troubleshooting and good communication. They laid out several options on how to proceed with plusses and minuses so I could make an informed decision. *Edit: They did eventually call me back so I'll put it back at 5 stars. Thanks for fixing that strange issue on my Volt!

I've had Matt's shop work on multiple vehicles. They specialize in all types of vehicles, combustion and electric. They did a lot of repairs and upgrades to my truck so it could go to my son. They also fixed my Dad's hybrid car which had some very complicated battery and electrical issues. All around, I highly recommend these folks.

We are not from this area per say but we went and looked at a 99 ford ranger that JV Motors had we wanted to purchase for my son his first car but we notice it had an oil leak underneath so we took it on a test drive straight to Matt’s Auto Shop needless to say they were very busy but they took the time out of there busy schedule to look it over with me and point out their concerns they were beyond helpful and knowledgeable he told me it would definitely need some repairs and to do it right would cost roughly about 3k if done correctly! So glad we came here as an already overpriced car at 6k would have cost me about 9-10k in the end thank you so much for all your help! I definitely recommend!

We've been taking our out-of-warranty cars and trucks to Matt's for several years. The work is always high quality and, most important, they are honest. We have sent some expensive repairs their way, and the experience was always positive. We can literally say, "the car is making a weird squealing sound from underneath and they will diagnose it and fix it quickly and for a fair price.
