I wish I can give no Star . November 16, 2024, I took my truck in for an alignment since I had just installed new tires. The employee at the front desk assured me that there would be no problem, and they would perform the alignment. I specifically mentioned that I had installed new tires and did not want to damage them. I also explained that I had previously taken the truck to the dealer a few months ago but did not receive any alignment report. He assured me that they would provide a report this time. There was also a technician at the front desk who overheard the entire conversation. He took the keys and test-drove the truck. When he returned, he said he couldn’t guarantee the alignment would be successful. I agreed for him to proceed, reiterating that my primary concern was not damaging my tires. However, he then said, “I know my colleague at the front desk told you we would provide a report, but we don’t do that here.” The alignment process began at that point. When they finished, the truck’s alignment was worse than before. I decided not to return because I feared they might make it even worse. Instead, I took the truck to another shop, where they fixed the issue and left it in the condition I had hoped for. I called customer service to file a complaint, and they told me someone would contact me to resolve the issue, but no one ever did. I then decided to visit the store in person to follow up on my complaint. The technician who had performed the alignment was there, and his response was that I had verbally approved and accepted that the truck’s alignment might not be successful. That was his justification and solution for the poor alignment. I told him, “Just because I verbally agreed to proceed doesn’t mean you, as a technician, shouldn’t do your job properly. At the very least, you should have made the truck drivable instead of leaving it in worse condition than before.” If anyone is considering getting an alignment, I strongly recommend going elsewhere to avoid wasting your money. The customer service was terrible, and the quality of work was even worse.

I called Mavis at about 3:45, spoke with Joseph, told him my situation, he said bring it in, We’ll take a look at it. Got there, all hands were on deck. It’s like they were waiting on me. 🤭 Joseph came out checked out my issue, went back inside. Tanner and Benny got to work on my vehicle. I was told 45 minutes, I was in and out within an hour. These guys are true professionals. I will take my vehicle needs to Mavis on N. Tryon 😍

Awesome service! Joseph explained my options for repair vs replacement of my tire that had a leak and recommended what would be safest which ended up being replacing the tire after I had rode on the flat tire for too long. Very nice, knowledgeable, and honest. Service was fast as well which is always a bonus! Overall great experience at Mavis

Blew my tire on the way to work today and called Discount Tire for my size but they couldn’t source it at all. Called Mavis and they were able to order the same exact one for me and got it in within a couple hours. Outstanding customer service and great environment with the employees!

A fantastic automotive choice and location with excellent staff to attribute both knowledge and care to you and your vehicles needs. Several vehicles are getting serviced from all different varieties found at this Mavis Tires & Brakes from larger trucks, luxury vehicles, older and newer model vehicles, trailer tires, and a few more. Can perform alignments, oil changes, suspension components, and service power steering, which is a nice addition in contrast to just Tires & Brakes although I will say tires and brakes are their speciality. You also have more options such as getting new wiper blades, battery, or headlight bulbs replaced at this establishment. Management and technicians here are both kind and act in a time sensitive manner to best allocate their skills to ensure whatever needs are met with clientele. 5 star service with the gentleman at this establishment and their skills.

I took my tire here to get patched… I get hit with a whole bunch of nonsense excuses as to why they “can’t” patch my tire… so they put my spare on… i get home and my tire is missing, only the rim is there… I get told i’m supposed to ask them to not throw away my tire?? huh??? then they proceed with racial comments towards my father, yea ZERO STARS!!

Joe was great. I needed to get e new tire and he didn't try to sale me the most expensive tire in house. I wanted to stay with same brand of tire but it wasn't in stock so he ordered it for me and it came the next day. I was literally in and out in less than 20 minutes. I will definitely be going back to Mavis for future needs.

Saturday 10/12/24 - I made an appointment to request a 2nd opinion and estimate on replacing struts. Drew provided great customer service with looking into the issue. He test drive the car and provided a more accurate description of what the issue is and also suggested what my next steps should be to correct issue. Thanks Dre Juanita

These guys are truly amazing. They are courteous, professional, friendly and fast! I was told exactly what work NEEDED to be done and they didn't try to up sell and tack on more stuff. The price was extremely fair. I was outta there in under 90 minutes. If you need brakes done this is the place. Drew and Joseph are gems.

Usually go to the Mavis in Hephzibah GA off Tobacco Rd but I recently moved up here last year and needed to get some services performed for my old Honda. They let me know that Firestone apparently forgot to put my Oil Cap back on when I did an oil change over there and I had Oil splashed all over my hood. The Mechanic and Service Manager Benny and Joseph helped me by cleaning it up for me and getting everything all copesetic to my standards. Ironically enough I came here for their free tire rotations and I was asked if I wanted to have some of my stuff inspected. During the battery check they told me about my oil and if I wouldnt have said yes I might be stuck on the side of the road somewhere. Thank god for these guys man they are great in my book, come here always ! Edit; They have a new mechanic named Cory and one of their old store managers named Tanner. They are extremely helpful and I mean it is absolutely imperative for you to come here for your automotive needs because they can get you straightened out. 10/10

Usually good customer service from Mavis but today, one of their employees was just irritated at me for no reason. I came here to get my tire pressure up and I parked my car on the side of the store since that is where they usually get my tires filled but the annoyed employee asked me to pull to the front of the store. After I did that, another employee inside the store asked me to pull up to the side of the store where I had first parked and now as the first employee saw me back again, I could hear him say to the others "why is he coming back here?" And spoke to me in an irritated manner to park in a certain way before handing me the air hose and telling me that I can do it by myself. Again, I usually have great experiences at all the Mavis locations but this one was just disappointing.

I work on cars professionally and can be a little apprehensive about letting someone else work on my vehicles. I went to a couple other shops before deciding on this location for tires and an alignment, and I'm more than pleased with their service, communication, speed, and pricing. The staff was very friendly and kept me updated. I would highly recommend seeing these guys for your vehicles needs.

Today I was prepared to be up charged and sold for a tire I didn’t even need. I didn't have that happen at Mavis and I’m extremely thankful. Brandon not only got it done fast but he got me taken care of cost efficiently. I’ll be making sure to refer everyone to this location.
