⁉️ BIG SHOUT OUT TO JESSICA @MAVIS located ON CENTRAL& Diversey !!! Called to make an appointment for my brakes inspection and she kindly said no worries come in and we'll happy to assist me.. came in they checked my brakes and she came and explained in detail of what my car needed to be fixed and replaced. Service was at the finest ever. I will strongly recommend to come and get your car serviced here. I came in nervous and she made my day ⁉️🎉💫

I had an excellent experience at Mavis Tires & Brakes. We had a tire changed and the service was outstanding. The staff member who assisted us spoke my native language Ukrainian which was incredibly helpful. He was very polite and made the whole process smooth and easy. Highly recommend their service!

I ordered a tire from Amazon because the price was better than the price I received from the dealer. In the ordering process I learned that the tire would ship to one of several places. Mavis was closest to me. They were well staffed for a Sunday and provided excellent on time service. I would not hesitate to use them again. I am a happy customer! 👍🏽

The team here is so thoughtful and considerate. They have always made sure to take any concerns I have seriously and go out of their way to make sure the car is in great shape. Very trustworthy and committed to keeping you safe and your car in good condition, also extremely fair on pricing. I’ve gotten a full set of new tires here in addition to tire repairs and oil changes.

I’ve jumpstarted my car twice a day, they checked the battery and said it needs to be replaced, so that’s what they did and now my car is just fine. Thank you guys! I thought I need to buy the battery somewhere else but they had it in stock so I’m glad I’m not going somewhere else

This place is grate I got my tire replaced and everyone there is friendly and nice fast service they don't try to make get something you don't need I highly recommend to the ladies who have no idea like myself the girl in the front is amazing she's very helpful and a nice person I will definitely go back in the future .

Worse place to get work done, uncertified mechanics diagnose vehicles. They don’t give you diagnostic with certainty, got my mom’s car done for control arms and the mechanic Hector said it was lower control arms at first, we kept hearing the noise we initially went in for and we went back. Then they said it was the struts and rear shocks and “possibly” upper control arms. This place is a money pit and just try to get you to spend all your flex shopper balance. The black manager is really aggressive and talks to customers with no respect, there was another guy that would always take care of us and explain everything thoroughly, this lady doesn’t even know what role the parts play in the car. She needs to be sent to mechanic school or just be a cashier. Has no experience or place working at a mechanic shop. Just came back because of the warranty the parts had, but turns out they just try to get you for more. Go to any other surrounding auto service, except this one. Not to mention what the staff does in the back lot. We tried reaching corporate and the city once already, but I guess they blocked us from giving reviews..

Avoid this place. Pulled a bait and switch with zero Goodwill or concern for wasting customer time and money. Manager Jessica admitted new hire Eugene misquoted what is not in stock. I paid the tow truck driver to bring my vehicle there based on their mis quote and they will do nothing other than say if I want to pay an extra 150 they’ll get the correct tire. What they put on is not recommended safe for my car. Looking up consumer law. Yesterday morning I called around to area tire shops to locate an all weather runflat in stock that fit my vehicle. I spoke with Eugene about my car, and specified an all season run-flat. Eugene asked tire size, which I verified by reading from door sticker. Eugene checked, assured he had several in stock, and quoted $120.00 installed. I then ordered a flatbed tow there. Hour after arrival was informed they would install the tire and have me back on the road, but they stocked no runflat! I had to get moving but on way home it dawned on me that I had fallen victim to bait and switch. I could’ve gone anywhere that had an all season runflat I phoned to locate in stock which was the purpose of getting advance price quote and name of contact person. Looking up the tire that he instead installed, it is not listed as recommended for my vehicle on Mavis’ own website - adding concern for safety. I completed a contact support request on Mavis’ website this morning, and without response felt imperative to phone Mavis and speak with Eugene. I am waiting to hear back from him. I am hoping he is empowered to do the right thing by ordering the all season run-flat he stated as having in stock, and schedule me back in to install what I went to Mavis for, honoring same price he quoted, and no additional change for consuming the extra time taken. I will update review when the matter is resolved.

Came in to get my brakes and tires serviced because my brakes were screaming when I braked while in reverse so they had to be changed. One of the staff members, Nate, was very informative and recommended rotating my tires so that's what we did. Their staff in the back got it done in a timely manner and now we're smooth sailing. Thank you Nate and Mavi staff!

I recently had my brakes and tires checked before it really starts snowing. They checked out everything!!! Had my tires rotated and brake pads replaced. Nate was was great and informative. All the mechanics were awesome there. I was taken care of in a timely manner and I don't feel like I was ripped off. I will definitely be back.

Made an appointment for 10am. Get there before 10. Only to be told an hour and a half wait. So i ask ...if i can leave and come back in an hour. They cant keep my place in line. Finally get my car done. And it needed a test drive. My car was ransacked. Unexceptable!!!

Went there today 12/17/2024 to get a brake inspection!!! Mind you I called before I came and a blk female (allegedly the manager) told me to come by at 1:30.. I get there on time and at first she said I didn't have an appointment!!! Then after I told her she was the one who set the appointment she did the inspection!!! She lied telling me that it would be cheaper to get their parts for brakes and rotors for the rear $450!! I said I will go buy the parts myself!! I returned with the parts and at first she wasn't going to have them put on without even looking at the parts!!! My whole interaction with this masculine looking female was very distasteful and disturbing!!! She was rude, overly aggressive and trying to beat me out of my money!! I've been her before and I never had a problem!!! She hollered at one of the mechanics for trying to help me!!! She said I'm the manager and you should talk to me!!! I just wanted my old parts back that is why I was talking to the mechanic!! That lady has serious issues, a poor negative attitude and no customer service skills!! She was trying to overprice me and saying she was aggressive because she was in a male dominant field!!! She needs evaluation and possibly a drug test!!!!
