Gary and the crew at the racetrack road location are the best. They have a customer for life with me and have been my go to guys for any repairs for at least 15 years. There’s nothing Gary won’t do for you there and if it’s something they can’t fix he will find a way to get a remedy to the problem. Thanks again for the amazing service!!!

Got tires here. The tires never hold air- constantly have a ‘slow’ leak. Gone back for air many times. Service person always says tire has a nail in the tire? Had the car ‘tuned up’ before vacation, Mavis said the window wipers were skipping and streaking. Very interesting because the wipers were just replaced 3 weeks ago and work perfectly. Recommend you compare Mavis to another garage before committing.

Today, I went to Marvin’s on Race Track Rd in Jacksonville in need of an Oil Change and Tire Rotation. This happened because the dealership I purchased the car from, did not record my appointment for 8am this morning . My services rep at Mavis, Margaret A!! Rose to the occasion, with a booked schedule said NOT A PROBLEM and she moved heaven and earth and o was in and out on about an hour!!! I have been to this Mavis before and the service, attention and professionalism is just superb!!!! Need your car service needs taken care of?? Go see Margaret and staff at Mavis on Race Track Rd!! Tell her a completely satisfied customer send you. Thank you Mavis!!!

I know many patrons have left positive remarks regarding this business as of late but that is not my experience with this company. I went in to have a simple 4-wheel alignment performed on my 2019 Volkswagen Jetta, because I had a set of 4 brand new tires installed on my vehicle less than 24 hours earlier. The location and hours of this car shop made it convenient for me to have the work performed here. Yet now, my car drives worse than it did before I took it to them. As you may observe from the enclosed picture, the resulting measurements of my vehicle after their computerized alignment was worse than the measurements before the work was performed. So in essence, I paid $100 to have someone degrade the tires and performance of my vehicle. Maybe they only know how to work American vehicles but from now on, I will drive down to either Goodyear or Tire Outlet to have my car serviced.

I typically bring my vehicles to this Mavis for oil changes because I don't trust the quick change spots. I stopped by this morning and asked how long it would take to get my oil changed. The guy said an hour to an hour and twenty minutes. That fit my schedule, so I told them to do it. They put it on the rack and tried to sell me four new tires, but an hour and forty minutes later, they still hadn't even begun the oil change. I told them to bring me my vehicle since they hadn't bothered to start the job, and they couldn't have possibly cared less. I'm glad they have so much business they don't give a crap about mine. Good for them!

My son went multiple times because his battery was not performing and he had a warranty . They kept leading him on making shady excuses for not helping him. The battery was dead! They don’t keep their warranty promises. Had to go somewhere else to get a $200 battery that should have been free with Mavis’s warranty promise

Dropped my car off on September 13th at 11AM and was told the water pump need to be replaced to address coolant leakage. Margaret informed me it would take two hours to get the part and two hours to fix the issue, and that my car will be worked on the next day at 8AM. I called Mavis next day at 8AM and Margaret confirmed the car will not be available for pickup until maybe around 2PM. She called again around 11AM and informed me the gasket may need to be replaced as the right side of the water pump connecting to the timing cover is also leaking. Extremely displeased with Mavis overpromising when the issue will be fixed. Mavis recommended I take my car to dealership to replace the gasket before taking my car back to Mavis to replace the water pump. Margaret mentioned this type of service is not what they can take on as they are not equipped nor have the subject matter expertise to repair European cars. Business practice and service at this establishment is not reliable. I would not recommend potential customers to service their car at this Mavis location.

Margaret, Dalton, and the entire crew are phenomenal! I seem to be cursed with bad tire luck, and this is the only place I take my three cars. Have been in many times over the past year or so for full sets, replacements, patching, and alignment. It’s never a good day when you are dealing with frequently unexpected and inconvenient tire problems, but every time I have been in they are friendly, professional, empathetic, accommodating, and best of all, stand behind their work. I highly recommend this Mavis location!
