I was very lucky to find this hidden gem in Charlotte. I was tired of being ripped off at those 5 min drive up places where before you know it they have swindled you and jacked up their prices. At first it was convenient but quickly became damaging, not only to my pocket but to my vehicle as well. I wanted to find a reputable shop and while that sounds laughable they actually do exist. Meck Automotive far exceeded all of my expectations. As a woman, automotive shops are a nightmare because we are seen as a walking target. Not only was I greeted by a friendly and knowledgeable staff but I was updated through the progress and was shown the process. I felt safe and comfortable waiting in their lobby. I was preparing for a long trip and needed basic maintenance done on my vehicle. I even asked for a timeline for future services I knew were approaching and was given an honest estimate. I can’t believe that after being in Charlotte for 3 years I finally found my shop. The prices are fair the service is quick and if you are sleeping on this place then you are cheating yourself out of excellent service. Thanks guys!

If you are a person of color, this is definitely not the place you want to come to to get your car inspected or for them to do any work on your car for that matter. Definitely did not feel welcomed there!

Loved my experience with the team here. Was greeted with very kind and knowledgeable people. I came in last minute for a service and they fit me very quickly. Overall fantastic experience and will definitely come back for any other needs!

WOW!! Let me start this by saying, the gentleman that took care of me are TOP NOTCH service. (Randy + Gene) I had a issue with my air not blowing yesterday. I had NO heat/NO Air conditioning. My uncle made a call to them at 3pm and they had me IN & OUT with AC/HEAT by 4pm. EVERYONE, please give these guys a shot, they will not disappoint. My car was towed to Mecklenburg automotive and I had never been there before. The engine on my car stopped working and I needed a new engine. Mecklenburg automotive was able to find me a new engine for my car and replace it for a reasonable cost. Chuck was super helpful with all questions I had and even showed me how to check the oil level in my car to assure that this issue will not happen again. I definitely will be going back to Mecklenburg automotive for any car issues that I need fixed in the future!

This is a business you can trust!! I went in because my driver’s window would not go up…being 20 degrees at night, I was starting to feel a little desperate not to mention Cold! Everyone was really nice and fixed my window at a very reasonable price! I am very pleased to have found this place.
