2 stars because it’s fine and an okay place for a car inspection/emissions test but you have to know on altamesa you can’t get anything good. I would say if you take your car here don’t accept any of the “extra” sales they try to make. They made up about $600 in maintenance my car “needed” and I declined it at the time. When I went back to the messages all the services they mentioned previously were named “new job” soooo where did this maintenance my car needed so bad go? How would I know what to get if I were to come back? That just shows me it’s all fake. Also they left my car dirty on the seats and dashboard with someone’s greasy gloves and broke the lever to pull my glovebox down. I won’t go back.

From the moment I walked in the door until I left I felt like they really cared about what's going on with me and my car. Actually I brought my daughter's car in because I know and trust Meineke. It was an awesome experience as always! The service team was awesome the store manager was awesome and I will be going back to Meineke whenever I need service work done on my car. I'm so glad there's places Meineke that I can trust

I have had a few good experiences at Meineke. This experience was great and the service was awesome and fast. My van is back on the road and humming like a bird! Thanks to Dale and the other gentleman at the front counter!

I usually go to local independent tradesmen for most services, as I don’t like being upsold by national chains. Because my two independents don’t accept my extended warranty insurance, I was directed to Del and Wes at my local Meineke shop, and was very pleasantly surprised. Their diagnosis of the primary issue matched my regular mechanic’s, they handled all the insurance submissions, identified and got approved to perform repairs a fw other items that hadn’t been spotted earlier, and performed all the repairs within the purportedly frugal insurer’s allowances. Less than 24 hours after I walked through the door I was back on the road in a much safer and healthier vehicle, out of pocket only my deductible, and carrying a short list of recommended maintenance services that were legitimately needed. Will be returning to this shop to get them done after payday. Kudos all around!

This was my first and last time going here. I think they took close to a half hour AFTER they started the state inspection. Their explanation was that they still perform a safety inspection even though it's not required. Than they tried telling me I should change my coolant, even though I changed it barely 5 months ago. When I asked why it was taking so long they got an attitude with me and told me to have a seat!

Dale and the other team members were super helpful and kind! I was able to get a detailed explanation & copy (including prices) of repairs my car needed. I was able to talk through my payment options and never felt deceived or pressured to do/pay more than I needed. I also received several coupon offers for being a first time customer! Great experience.

This place left my car a quart low on oil after it was towed there for assessment after Take 5 in Burleson messed it up. They changed the oil without my consent and didn't add enough oil.

Dishonest about car part conditions/prices, told me I had a bad part that needed replacement and proceeded to show me where, upon looking at it myself.. it did not need no type of replacement or repair as it showed minimal to no signs of wear and tear. Even quoted me an absurd price of $1,700 for parts and labor for a part that costs $200-400 max. Not sure if they assume you’re not educated on what vehicle maintenance and costs are but I will no longer go to this location for any type of maintenance.

Hard pass. Keep driving. Shady business. In reply to the person below calling themselves the owner. Why would I call the same location who could not perform an alignment the first or second time? Said no to a refund, but hey bring it back by and we can put it back on the machine... For what? Waisting time... After replacing the control arms and struts on my 2014 silverado I went to the location with getting an alignment. Checked in and waited in line to get an alignment. After my truck went into the shop the young Asian tech performed an alignment. After he performed his alignment procedure he removed the computer alignment equipment of my truck wheels and made an adjustment to the passenger tier-rod. This is not an acceptable practice when performing an alignment on any vehicle. It goes outside of using the proper procedure I.E. the computer to get everything square. After that he took the truck for a drive and noted the alignment complete. I then drove the truck for s drive and found the following: Steering pulls to the left while driving. Steering wheel not centered while driving. Went back and let the shop manager know the truck alignment is not complete. He had the tech attempt another alignment. Same process and the same symptoms after. This is not me or the trucks first alignment. It drove straight before service was Preformed. Additionally the truck now has knocking cv joints when turning and still pulls to the left. Not good. I'd really like a refund

Computers were down (can't help that!) so it took a long time. I gave them a coupon for oil change & free tire rotation - they did the oil change but nothing else. I was under a time frame so I left.

I spoke too soon Meineke will not take responsibility for their error. Calling the corporate not a good idea. I got my brakes done here they did not put my lugs back on properly so my tire came off while driving. I had to get a tow after being on the highway for an hour. They failed me severely not only at this location but also the Lancaster location. You are liable and should take care of customer who trust you. Oh yeah their customer complaint line is fraud also don't bother just lawyer up quickly!!

This wasn't my first visit to Meineke. They greeted everyone that came through the door. They even helped me get my cart in the door when I arrived because I was breathing hard and struggling. The place was really clean. What I liked most of all is: they take pictures of your vehicle on all sides, the hood, trunk and the inside and notate the findings before any work is started on your car. They checked out my car, I was having to boost my car every time I had some where to go. The problem was the alternator. They checked all my fluids and they noticed my serpentine belt was getting slick.Long story short I have a 2008 vehicle with 48 thousand miles on it. They found other things, but for everything they found, they took pictures of it and texted all of them to me, so I could see it with my own eyes. They told me what it would cost for the repairs and alternator and let me decide if I wanted the work done. I love those guys, they're all friendly, knowledgeable, professional and stand behind their work. Once they finished my car, they pulled it up to the front door and the guy at the counter offered to help me get my cart out to my car and put it in trunk. I call that going above and beyond what your job is and good customer service. I was telling my brother about my day at Meineke on yesterday and he said "I wonder if they have one in San Antonio". By the way my car started today and drove like a new baby. Thank you to the team at Meineke in Fort Worth on Altamesa.I'm sorry that I didn't get their names.
