This is hands-down the worst car shop I’ve ever been to. Not only did they completely mess up a simple repair, but they’re also running a scam with their vouchers. They sold me a voucher promising discounts on future services, but when I tried to use it, they claimed it ‘didn’t apply’ to anything I needed. Total fraud! They’ll do anything to get more money out of you, even if it means deceiving customers. Do not trust this place!

I've been a customer of Craig Chin's for a few years now.. Prior to CKM, Now Meineke, I went to more budget friendly shops. As the saying goes..you get what you pay for. That continues to be true with Craig's "Meineke" Shop ( 1st one on the west coast ).. The " extra" cost brings: extra customer service..extra quality mechanics.."extra" peace of mind..AND total trust that all services recommended and provided are of the highest quality.. On top of all this.. Craig is a really nice guy.😉.. And no..he didn't pay me for this review..😂 2024 UPDATE: I miss seeing Craig, as he has moved on into retirement? But pleased to meet Dominic ( or was it Tom 😂).who has taken over the reins. Still the same quality, reliable, dependable service.. Thank you...

My experience at this shop is exactly why I only work on my own cars and don’t let anyone else work on them. I took my mom’s car in to try to sell because they had messaged me that they saw the ad and were interested. When I got there his mechanic took it for a 10 min test drive where he drove the car very hard. After he got back they wanted to lift the car up in the air to look underneath so as they were lifting it up it almost fell off the rack because they didn’t rack it right the first time. After looking underneath the car for 20 mins the guy decided it was his turn to take the car for a test drive and drove it really hard also. And now the car makes noises I’ve never heard before. So now after all the work I’ve done to this car to get it to run good for the new owner, after their very hard test drives and abuse of a car that they weren’t even interested in buying due to their lowball offer. I now have to put more money and time into this car before I can sell it.

Atmosphere is friendly and welcoming. You’re greeted by Dominic who takes time to find out exactly what your vehicle needs done. Technicians do a thorough inspection of vehicle and give you report to determine what will be done , no pressure then estimate of cost. Job well done.

I was sold a coupon to come and use for my cars, well to my surprise they are not honoring what the sales person sold me on “BOB” . Don’t buy one I would rather not type what I’m felling right now 😡

It took all day for an oil change. When I went to pick up my car, there was no one in the office to wait on me. The first service man that walked in from the work area walked passed by me without acknowledging my presence. The second service man that came in was more helpful. The only reason I will go back is because we bought one of their service vouchers.

Our car died on the way to Yosemite and we went to Meineke because it was the only place open. We were pretty sure it was an alternator because we had the battery tested when it first died and it was fine. They said it was the battery and replaced the battery, then the car died again and we took it back and they agreed it was the alternator. They then charged us for the wrong invoice and had us come back in to pay the correct one as we were leaving. A month later the car died again and we took it to our local mechanic who said the battery was no longer connected and everything was loose and had not been properly attached. He also looked at the invoices and said we were overcharged. Wouldn’t recommend, they were nice but overcharged us, didn’t diagnose the original issue, didn’t properly repair the actual issue and didn’t invoice us properly.

Amazing customer service and staff. I started having A/C issues before work yesterday and my A/C was blowing 95 degrees air on the driver side. This may not of been an emergency if we weren't in the middle of the summer with 100+ temps. They were able to make me a same day appointment and get the problem fixed before closing. I was truly greatful as I commute to Fresno for work everyday from North Fork. They were even able to do my oil change while they waited for a part. I will definitely be back and highly recommend.

I cannot say enough good things about this place. We were driving back to Texas and were passing through Fresno when my car sputtered out and was having serious issues. We showed up half an hour prior to their closing time and explain the situation. The owner, Tom, Not only took a look at my car but gave us a ride to a nearby hotel himself. He understood the situation and prioritized my car, even drove to nearby places to find the missing part himself. I have never met a more honest and friendly mechanic. I'm glad we broke down close to them!!!

I waited too long till I notice such a great service. Brought in my Jeep Grand Cherokee for a Check-Engine light. Meineke did a correct diagnosis of the problems and fixed them all in one day, while in comparison, the dealer I used told me they needed multiple days. The dealer even could not do a correct diagnosis and didn't fix the check engine light the first time, so I decided to give Meineke a try. While the diagnosis was not inexpensive at Meineke (I don't mind because I want to make sure they do the right thing), the total cost was reasonable. I will start using their service from now on.

Great company. The technician carefully and thoroughly explained the damage of my car , and what it was going to cost. They even tried to reduce the costs of the parts for my car by calling around for cheaper prices.

Took truck no cooling, couldn’t find leak added Freon cooling to 61 degrees. Took it back 4 weeks later no cooling again. They found small leak in compressor. Was going to give me quote on compressor and txv. Told him forget it as didn’t want to spend more $ on it. I feel they should have checked the txv in my first visit. Was blowing some cool air and after is worse.
