I came in with four hubcaps left with only two the store assistant manager didn't know nothing about car parts it was a mess the store manger act like he didnt give no cares about the customer and i really believe the broke my wheelbearing trying to change my rotors i love meineke they take care of my car just horrible service

I've taken my vehicles to Meineke for years starting with the store in Muncie, IN. When I moved to Indy, this was the location I selected as it's not far from our house. Every time I take my Jeep for service, they're always kind and easy to talk to. Special shout out to Bailey for the discounts he gave me for the most recent work I had done on my Jeep. Thank y'all for everything!

Went in 11/29 and had a 2pm appointment for oil change and the wait was long. Thing's have changed since my last visit. Service was different than before and I was shocked to see the bootleg (reminder) window sticker that looked as if a child had written it

They tried to up sale me bad and then didn’t even erase none of the codes after the oil change. It s still saying I need an oil change and my washer fluid is low . Do t they do all that in the oil change?

If I could leave a 0 review I would. I have never been to a more unprofessional business ever. I scheduled an oil change online. Checked in and stated I only wanted an oil change. I have a regular mechanic but was unable to get to him for oil change. During the visit one of the workers personal phones kept using a profane ringtone. The guy who checked me in repeatedly went out to tell the person doing my car what they were doing wrong. When the oil change was complete the guy went over the diagnostics and advised if a few things that needed done. I let them know that I have a mechanic and he will take care of it. He rudely asked if it was some backyard mechanic and I said no that it is a ford certified mechanic. He further stated that they are not a place for just oil changes and the next time I bring my car I will have to drop it off and they will do it at their convenience not mine. Needless to say I will never ever go back. If they do not want to do oil changes they shouldn’t advertise that the do them. This is my daughters car and I cannot imagine if I had sent her alone how she would have been treated. I would not recommend ever going to this place ever. They were rude and bullies. And after seeing the reminder sticker makes me wander who is the “backyard mechanic”

Rarely on time, not knowledgeable, incomplete work. There was lady in the lobby waiting to get her system flushed bc one of those “well trained” techs put windshield wiper fluid in her radiator. These ppl are not mechanics they’re in that garage experimenting.

I’ve been coming to this Meineke for about two years now because it’s pretty close to my house but after my last experience I probably won’t be returning. I arrived at 7:30am with intentions on getting an oil changed and my check engine light figured out. I explained to the gentlemen what issues I had been experiencing he told me that my car would still have to be diagnosed for $178 i asked would that fee go towards what needed to be fixed? Cause i typically though that’s how it worked if you get the work done the diagnostic fee would go towards the work. He said some could go towards the repairs depending on how much it cost for the repairs. They diagnosed the car determined it was the mass air flow sensor I told him I wanted it repaired ordered the new part agreed to the work my total came up to $650. I asked what happened to diagnostic fee going towards the repair, he sighed then gave me 50% off the diagnostic fee for “customer satisfaction.” The technician applied the new sensor cleared the code test drove it and the car needed up doing the same thing it was doing when i arrived. The lead technician was explained to the guys up front that he didn’t feel comfortable charging me for the mass air flow sensor cause the problem wasn’t fixed. I still spent $170 ($50 for the oil change and $89 for the remainder diagnostic fee) and left with the same problem I arrived with after being there until almost 3pm. I use to think Meineke was super reliable now not so much.

Went in for an oil change and specified I also needed washer fluid topped off. I was told that was included in the service and assumed all was well. After about 3 hours I called to see if it was done and they said "Oh yeah, that's been done. Looks like we tried to call and left a message." This is false and a blatant lie. I told them they must have called the wrong number. Anyway, my washer fluid was still low. It doesn't trigger a warning light unless you're on a tight turn, because that's how sensors work sometimes. At some point in my lifetime, a service center will actually listen to the consumer who supplies their paycheck. I'm disappointed with both of the front desk help. They're not qualified for customer service.

I took my car into Meineke on Pendleton Pike, in Indianapolis to be looked at. I explained to Dawn that I have been hearing a loud sporadic noise under my car, it is not screeching or grinding. I explained that the only certainty about the noise is that it happens when I'm releasing the brake (accelerating from a stop light) or turning, it does not happen when I am stopping or driving at a speed of over 20mph. The noise can be very loud. The mechanic looked at my car, and determined that it was the brake and rotors, I did not think it was the brakes because I have needed brakes before and it didn’t sound like my brakes; however, I’m no mechanic so I figured that maybe the noise was from the rotors. I allowed them to make the repairs the same day. I leave and what do you know, by the next day I hear the same loud noise again. I called to bring it back in. I was told to return, I asked if now was a good time to come (8:30 am)since I would not be able to drop it off, I was told to come at 11 to allow time for them to clear out the cars they were working on. I arrive and their are several people waiting, so I ask would it had been better to make appointment for another day, as I am not able to sit another couple of hours, they inform me the mechanic was working on a big job, so it may be a white and schedule me to come in at a later date. For the next two days, I rode in silent, recording every time I take off from a stop light, stop sign or make a slight turn. I was able to get several recordings. I returned for my appointment, after a 30 minutes or inspecting my car, two mechanic approached me to listen to the videos as well as listening to my story. I tell the mechanic that I did not think it was my brakes, he states, “ no, its not your brakes”, he informed me that they did not hear anything. I told them the same thing I informed the front desk workers on the first day, that it does not happen all the time. He states after listening to the videos, he will test drive it one more time, and also degrease my ball joint’s to see if the noise was coming from there, as he discovered that they need to be replaced. He goes on to say he is not for sure where it is coming from, if its the ball joints or not. I tell the mechanic that I am very thankful for his honest opinion, because had they admitted to not hearing it on my first visit, I would not be out of over $500. I was given an estimate to replace the ball joints, and was offered to have a coupon applied to the total. I was. not given a sorry, offered a partial refund, or nothing. So now I am out of hundreds of dollars and still left with the same problem. The only reason I gave two stars was because of the nice, accommodating front desk employee Dawn and the mechanic who took the time to listen, explain, and honestly tell me that he was not sure where the noise was coming from instead of guessing.

I love going here they are the most honest and informative shop that I dealt with and very friendly, these guys are the best, but my floor mat was so dirty from them getting in and out of car, you guys need paper mats when doing work

Went in for starter replacement, was told it cost $100 for test,which was crazy!!!! Then told my warranty would only cover $516.74 and I would have to pay over $400! How the hel does a starter and installation cost $900 + !!! The part is only $374(top price) and an hour of labor! I'm so disappointed with this service. I really love my tahoe and take good care of it. They lost a life long customer! It's said because my warranty company even said the tried to say the work work total to $724.38. But told me over $900 for a starter, literally only has maybe three bolts!!! You all should be ashamed ripping someone off like that. I still had to waste a $100 on a diagnosis that should of been free since I was giving them business. Sad just for a starter!
