I've been to Meineke on Tropicana before and had a good experience. I was hesitant on bringing my car just for an oil change and coolant. This thing is not old it is like new with only 50,000 miles on it. It was not leaking anything when I took it in for the oil change. I was hesitant and wanted to go my mechanic, but figured it was just an oil change. It's leaked every day oil since then. When I brought it into another Meineke locally they said it was the " Rare Main Sale" and it had nothing to do with the oil change or fluids treatment. I said it must be a big coincidence because it's never leaked. It's still like new. The guy said it's a coincidence. I don't know what to think. Not sure how to conclude. Thought I'd share this experience. The car is like new and has never had a leak and I know there's always a first time, but coincidentally after the day of the oil change this occurred. Because of a sloppy oil change that caused oil to spread after having to drive five straight hours, pushing the oil even more further near the seal I had to bring it in for inspection to determine whether it really was a seal leak and it was a bad oil change that costed me a lot.

Eddie was friendly, thorough & honest - exactly what I was looking for !! I was at another Shop for years and questioned their recent Diagnosis - Eddie saved me a lot of money - 4 stars cus they do charge you 11 dollars , just to use your credit card which is BS

Have returned several times the this location since my previous review, most recently yesterday. Got an oil change and was informed of other important repairs that will need to be done soon. Got additional repairs done and ended being half the cost of what another mechanic wanted to charge me. Phil was very helpful and made this visit at Meineke very enjoyable and positive. Looking forward to being back at this location again soon.

Want to give EDDIE a shoutout for helping me solve an easy situation in minutes. He didnt hesitate said come on in we will see what we can do, so friendly and accomodating. The service was good. Service people were very friendly. Only complaint I have is they advertised oil change for $39.95, I was charged .. $82.00 . Something about the price of oil. I'll think about it next time.

My recent experience have cause me to never have business with you. I came in for an oil change Only. But since my check engine light was on the worker convinced me to do a thorough diagnostic for my Nissan Cube 2010. So I agreed to pay the 100 since I needed to know anyways cause my cube is my moneymaker. I use it for dashing. After all is done 2 hours later the worker tells me all the codes and advices me of a fuel leak. Gave me an estimate of 1100 service cost. He must I’ve forgot I came ther only for an oil change. Since I could not afford it I declined the service. He advices me that he need at least an hour to put my car back together and I can go on my way. I waited and when it was ready I paid the 100 for the diagnostic. Since I declined the service the workers demeanor change to attentive to nonchalant way. I got my keys and got in my Cube. The car started with no issues then I drove about 300 feet before the light of jones and Tropicana. I was stopped waiting to make a left when my car just died. I tried to start the engine multiple times with no luck. Pump the gas a little. I then called Meineke and spoke to the same worker and told him that my car just died in the middle of traffic. He then tells me that my fuel pump must of given out which it is the service that they wanted me to approve. I argued with him and told him that I came there with no problem and now all of a sudden my fuel pump is blown. I do not believe in coincidences. I ask him well what are you going to do. He offered to give me his towing company s number so they can tow it back to the shop. Why do I need to be the one calling when you took apart my car and now fuel is leaking everywhere so much that it left a puddle on the street. Luckily some guy came to help me push my car out of the way. My car would still be running if I did not take it to Meineke. I think you should compensate me by fixing what ever it needs for my vehicle to run again. I came with my vehicle to Meineke just needing an oil change and left with a vehicle that is inoperable. I will be sharing my experience through media with photos.

*EDIT* July 18, 2024 7:45am PST Made an appointment online for a 7:30am appointment for a simple oil change and was looking forward to coming back to see Freddy. Pulled up at 7:20am, long story short, Phil & Albert ruined it for me with their customer service. I decided to leave and not get serviced here, so I headed over to the Flamingo location 1.5 miles away, and Alvin & Van are taking really good care of me! ——— Had such a great experience with this crew I am coming back for my next service. I called, they took me in right away, did everything they could to call and find the parts for me the day of, and even got my car all fixed up, which was not an easy task I would have to say, before they closed. All the while being busy… I appreciate you guys very much. Thank you Freddy, Albert, and big guy I forgot his name. I will be back for my headlights and wheel alignment.

What a wonderful experience. I was with my family from out of town. I thought I needed an oil change but didn’t fill out the application correctly, but still they went out of their way to service my family van so we could continue our vacation. Came in after the dealership told me one thing was going on and it could be fixed at an exorbitant price while 8 other things were actually going on. Needless to say I was a little frazzled when I heard that this was going to be more than getting my brakes changed. Phil walked me through the findings on my car, which the exam they do comes with pictures as well as detailed notes of their findings sent to you via text message which I really appreciate. He took the time and explained things to me in a way I understood and like I was a person. I was very appreciative of all the information that was presented to me and in the way it was presented, the care they took to make sure I understood what was going on and how to fix it. Phil, if you are reading this the world needs more people like you, you are truly a wonderful person!
