The service here is the best. The staff in the office and in the garage are mega helpful, friendly and great at their jobs. Customer care and car care is the best I have experienced in LV. As a woman who knows the bare essentials about problems with a vehicle it’s amazing to find people who understand that their honesty about a problem and the cost is such a relief. Thank you Meineke. On September 30, 2024, I took my car to Meineke at 500 S Buffalo for an oil change and to replace a burnt-out rear brake bulb. Unfortunately, my experience was very disappointing. After picking up my car, I noticed that just a few minutes into driving, the left bulbs weren’t working: neither the one that should always be on nor the left turn signal. Only the bulb they had replaced was functioning. I immediately returned to Meineke to speak with the manager. His response was frustrating, as he claimed I only mentioned the brake bulb and not the other burnt-out bulbs. I had to return a couple of days later because they were closed at that moment. When I arrived and confronted the manager about this, he was unprofessional, shouting and banging on the desk instead of providing an appropriate solution. I had already paid $52.83 for the bulb replacement, and now I was told I had to pay an additional $18.37 to fix it, which I did, as I had already lost too much time. Later that night, I realized the left bulbs still weren’t working, and they had requested a white bulb instead of a yellow one for the turn signal—truly a disaster. I felt scammed. I plan to go back for a third time, having spent nearly $80 on this mess and wasted so much time. At this point, where else can I file a complaint? Is there a higher management I can reach out to for a resolution? If you’re considering visiting Meineke, take my experience into account and think about avoiding this particular location at 500 S Buffalo, Las Vegas, NV. They have truly messed up my car and wasted a tremendous amount of my time. Help!!

Took my car in for an AC check. They did the dye tests and said my valves were leaking so I had them repaired and got an Evac and recharge that cost almost $600. One month later had to take it back for blowing hot again. They said I was low and refrigerant again and did another dye test and recharge, still no leaks. Two weeks after that I had the same issue again. This time they want to check the evaporator core. They only want like $1700 JUST TO INSPECT IT! So not only did I lose 3 Saturdays not having a car I spent $600 for nothing and they won't refund my money or anything. They basically told me sorry for your luck. I paid for refrigerant that just leaks back out after they told me twice there wasn't any leaks. This is why I don't trust mechanics anymore. Update.....I called the shop to resolve my issue and was offered another recharge after the dealership fixed the problem . That's nice and all but the dealership needed to recharge my AC after they replaced the evaporator to make sure nothing leaks. So I threw away $600 going to Meineke and I will never go back or recommend this place to anybody. I have filed a complaint with the Better business bureau since Meineke likes to just take people's money and not fix the issue.

Hello, I am reaching out in hopes for some sort of refund as I have on and off been having my car worked on by this location as well as the location #2532 for approximately a month. I originally took it to #2532 for an oil change, a tune up, and I knew my power steering pump needed to be replaced. Fast forward to me picking up my car, I was handed the keys without a test drive being done as it was a few minutes past their closing time. The car felt okay for the five minute drive to the grocery store but the service engine light came on immediately when I turned it back on and the steering became very rigid again almost causing me to be hit by a car. I immediately took it back the next day and they confirmed it was a bad power steering pump that had to be replaced again. I also found out the first mechanic that looked at my car never did an initial inspection of the vehicle the way Meineke claims they do. After having that replaced, I left again and everything felt fine for a couple of days until I was leaving a parking lot and my steering once again became very rigid and the battery light as well as the emergency brake came on. I managed to get it over to location #2854 who confirmed the serpentine belt had come completely off the engine which leads me to believe the first location I went to did not properly install the second power steering pump they put in there. $550 later they replaced that too and I was back on the road. Now fast forwarding to today, my car is once again at location #2854 because the serpentine belt is completely shredded. All of these events have caused a good amount of stress, worry, as well as lost wages as I use my vehicle for Uber and that’s how I’m currently making a living. I understand Meineke will not assist in lost wages but I’m very much hoping for some sort of refund as between these two locations, I’ve spent close to $2500 in repairs so far. I understand the belt they’re probably going to have to replace today will be under warranty and I probably won’t have to pay additional but that is so far from beyond the point to me. I shouldn’t be having to take my vehicle in this many times after having initially paid so much to already have the issue fixed. Update as of 9/9/24, I’m just now getting a response 9 months later? Surprised to hear anything at this point. Their initial solution when I made this review was to go ahead and give me a free oil change. Craziness.

Highly Recommend the Buffalo location in Las Vegas Service was quick, comprehensive, and a good value. The staff were professional and courteous. I would return based on the aspects in life I value. A good value for the quality of the product Excellent service with respect for my time, $$, and that I have a choice Expert advice on selecting the grade of oil / service recommended based on my cars specifications for optimum performance, maintaining the longevity of the life of my vehicle, my driving habits, and weather conditions. I learned a lot from the service tech that no one ever bothered to explain to me do I could make an informed intelligent decision and not just one based on price.

First of all, when I took my car to get the brakes fixed they gave me a high price but this doesn't end here. When, I also had to get my oil changed the yotal all of sudden became 903 dollars for that and they included other fees that were not disclosed. When I asked them why it became this high, they said their manager is going to contact me but it's been 3 days and they haven't called me back. This place charges you way too high and their customer service is awful. If I knew, I wouldn't have gone there.

I will never go to any meineke again. I had my very first experience with them and the worst one. My car AC wasn’t working properly. Autozone said go to meineke. I live close by to buffalo location. I went ther and the team who work on my car was Ed team. There were nice but seams like couldn find the leak in AC system. My fault too. I work every day, I couldn’t leave my car for more then 3 hrs a day. It wasn’t enough time for them to have my car fix. I had my car there 3 times for the first two weeks. (They put dye in the system and told me to drive for a week at least) after 3 appointments I suppose to bring my car again on Wednesday morning and it was different team in this location. Kimberly’s team She asked me to give her a chance to look at my car. I said yes okay. I’ll give her a chance. On Wednesday they said there’s no leak, the blender doors needs to be replaced and I have do deposit $100 to order the parts. On Friday I dropped off my car at 1.30 pm and it should be ready in 2.5 hrs. It wasn’t ready by 4 pm not by 5 pm. The shop close at 6 so I picked up my car at 6 and the car wasn’t finished. They asked to bring my car tomorrow so they can finish the job. Next day I dropped off my car at 1.30 pm again. Came to pick up at 5. The car isn’t ready. While I was waiting I saw Kimberly is the one who is working on my car and same time fixing tires on other car. No mechanics ??? I tried o get her attention and asked when it will be done? She ignored me and finally I got respond from her that’s I’m taking her time by talking to her and asking stupid questions instead she could go and work on my car. And it’s too hot outside (over 100 every day) so the machine cant put refrigerant back in my car and I opened the door in my car and unbalance the machine so she has to start do all over again. That’s what they doing last two days, putting refrigerant in my car. And apparently it’s too hot. I took my car back at 7 pm and the car not ready, no refrigerant and AC is not working. Next day I asked her to email me paperwork what job was done on my car and she just didn’t do it. I called 3 times and no email. Next day I drove there to pick up the paperwork and on the paper says it’s not a blend door, they found leak in the valve and replaced it. (Exactly $100) and the blender doors was returned that’s why Kimberly is not charging me extra $500. Only refrigerant needed to add to the AC. Made an appointment showed up on time. I told them that I only needed one Hub assemble on my 1995 Dodge 3500 truck they quoted me over $500 for the part which they’re buying from rock Auto you can buy the same thing from AutoZone for $100. They weren’t able to buy from AutoZone though only Rock Auto at $500, then the labor on a 1.6 hour job was also around $500. I said forget it that’s just too much then they charged me $110 for the diagnosis which of course I told them I already knew I only needed a wheel hub assembly because it had a bad bearing , I will never go to Meineke again was so disappointed a large franchise company like this would at least be fair. The woman at the desk was very polite and understood my concerns which of course she could do nothing about the prices were the prices and that’s it. I paid the $110 and I will never go there again.

They seem to have new management and are better now than my previous experience. I was forced to take my car there because it was the closest shop to my house after I had an issue with my alternator. They installed the new alternator but left a brakect and nut on top of the alternator which lucky did not fall into the engine or get caught in the belt and they did not put my skid plate back on properly (which was a blessing in disguise because that what made me double check the alternator).

I had a mishap occur in the midst of having my car worked on that kept me from being by able to have the repairs completed but despite that Melissa was very helpful throughout the entire experience. I'm having problems with shaking when I accelerate the gas pedal. I took it in to see if they could look at the car and let me know the cause. The gentleman told me that a diagnostic is going to cost $209.00. I told him that was more than what my dealership would charge. I left and went to a different Meineke they quoted $100.00. But because my engine light wasn't on, it was no cost at all. Now I understand why they are standing around with no work to do.

We are traveling home and noticed a problem with our brakes. Meineke got us in right away and replaced our front brakes so we can travel safely. I can’t say enough good about the excellent customer service we received.
