Although the website and coupon will claim you can get a conventional oil change for a certain price, they've always told me that they aren't able to give me a conventional oil change and that I have to upgrade to the partial synthetic. When I push back, they tell me they don't even buy the oil needed for the conventional oil change (I've gone twice and this happened, my brother also said this happened to him). I've never had this problem at another Meineke before. I used to go to the one in Roseville but it unfortunately closed. Also, if you don't check, they will automatically give you the full synthetic oil change (the most expensive) so if you're going to go make sure to specify and check the paper order before you sign it. The staff might be friendly but the place is disgusting. The chairs are barely sittable in the lobby, its a couple chairs and a thin, small metal bench, and it looks like it's never been cleaned. When I asked to use the bathroom it was filthy in there, I ended up not using it because I was so grossed out. This location is very convenient and I'd love to go but it's just too awful. Honestly, it's the worst place I've had my oil changed at.

Had a great experience here! They diagnosed and fixed the issue quickly, without overcharging. The staff was helpful and transparent about the work needed. Super easy to deal with, very professional and courteous.

Very quick dropped off my truck and had lunch. Came back and it was done. Found greasy hand prints on the hood but those wiped off pretty easily.

This is the 3rd time I went to this Meineke branch to get my car repaired. Just like the first two times, I felt treated fairly every time. Don (sp?) seems like a very honest operator. The prices I paid for the repairs are certainly less than the dealership I’ve been going to and only for what I need. I will continue to take my cars there.

Don’t get work done here. Hade brakes done, $450. They put the cheapest brake pads. They lasted less than 6,000 miles. The 6,000 miles are all freeway miles.

Make sure they actually replace what they claim. We got front brakes done 13k miles ago. The pads are fine but the rotors are out of spec and warped like they were never replaced.

I went to Meineke Car Care Center yesterday to have my air conditioning recharged in my truck . And it was a great experience. The folks there are very nice very professional and I was in and out the time they said it was going to take to do it. No No surprise fees no add-ons or anything. I recommend this auto shop to anybody that needs their car or truck worked on. And they were very reasonable I was surprised. So I give five stars have a nice day

Needed front brakes and fluid flush (braking felt spongy). They were polite, professional, and most importantly, didn't try to upsell me for more money. They showed me the brakes, and explained the back brakes were fine, which I already figured. They even waited 30 mins after closing for me to get the car (fire in Sac caused a traffic jam). Thanks so much guys!

I went to this meineke for my ac because it was blowing warm/hot air. This car has been giving me issues and it's too hot for that to happen. I commute, so I'm in my car a lot while I wait to go in because I get to where I need to be early. Now, I will say they helped me out with prices. BUT! I should not have been driving right after they replaced my compressor and have the warm air going through my vents as I'm stopping at a light or slowing down. I went in the next day, online says they're open at 7:30am. It didn't open until 8:15am. The mechanic said that he didn't think about how he had to recallobrate something to do with the compressor. Then another story about how he talked to someone about subaru's and that the person mentioned that. I don't know what to believe. The mechanic test drove it, said it was fine. I went on my way, only to have it continue to blow warm air, as I'm driving, sporadically for minutes at a time. Then, I parked and it kept blowing warm air non stop. When I was able to leave, I went back to meineke. They did another test. Turns out it's my condenser this time. Which, because it was never fixed in the first place and it continued to blow warm air, I believe it had already failed when they took the first test. The mechanic who worked on my car, said that he didn't think about it last night to tell me that can happen when a compressor goes. I was irritated, rightfully so in my point of view. They asked if I wanted a refund, I thought that I was getting a refund because they didn't fix it with the new compressor by what they said. I did not understand, they wanted the compressor back. I don't remember them saying that specifically about the compressor, but okay. I took the compressor, they put it back in. While I was talking to the mechanic working on my car, he mentioned 'faulty part' when talking about my compressor. Don't say that about a new part you're putting in my car. It didn't help that he was getting being rude about how 'he doesn't have the time to teach me about ac'. While I'm waiting, I'm talking with the service advisor and he mentions that 'they try to make it cheap for people'. Okay, I get it and appreciate it. It would also be appreciated if you didn't leave things out. Also,because he told me that some cars don't have to have their condenser replaced after the compressor goes out, does not mean thar you shouldn't still say that. That money doesn't matter (even though it was over a grand) when it is the quality of the vehicle, especially in this heat when talking about an ac and needing to tell people what to expect if one part goes or anything of the sort with the vehicle. This whole thing could have been avoided if they had told me about the condenser in the first place. I would have told them to replace both yesterday, or they could have told me that they knew that possibly it wasn't working because it was still blowing cool/warm air while idling and not ice cold how it should be. Not give me the go ahead twice when it's not how cold it should be, and have me come back. They did offer to spot the service for the condenser (or just the part, I don't remember) which is appreciated, but I don't want the possibility to come back AGAIN if it's not going to be fixed, I'm not going to be told things, the mechanic forgets to mentions things or do things for the car, or having something else wrong right after I leave the place. The mechanic that worked on my car mentioned that he hates when cars come back. This could have been avoided if they would have told me about my car or what could possibly happen. Not that 'I'm good to go' when I'm clearly not as he's feeling the ac and think that's how a good ice cold ac air should feel. I went three times in two days to fix my ac. Instead, multiple things were not told to me about my car. I am now without ac because of it until I'm able to go to another place. Always read reviews before going to get your car fixed. UPDATE: The compressor I got for $1,200 from this meineke was a re-manufactured, spray painted, faulty part.
