Ann and Barry are the best and most honest people ever! This was the 2nd time I broke down on a cross-country trip (I’m from PA and I’m a 25-y/o female, so it’s hard to find a mechanic that feels like they’re not just trying to take my money) and Barry spent hours on my 2000 Ford van and made sure I made it out of Sac safely and soundly, all for a VERY honest price. I sat with Ann in the shop and chatted the entire time, both with her and the few other customers that came through (2 of which were women which I personally feel speaks to the trust they foster with their customers). They are just the sweetest and most wholesome family owned/operated place you’ll find. I wish I had photos to share, but one important reminder they shared: ALWAYS ASK FOR YOUR PARTS when getting anything replaced (for my fellow non-mechanic-minded friends)!!! Highly recommend Melo’s for anyone — residential or passing through.

Mom had an appointment Tuesday morning. She brought her 2018 Buick Enclave because of a rattle in the back. He found out it was a loose spring in her backseat chair. He removed it. She no longer hears anything. It was her 2nd visit and she really feels comfortable with his work, and patience, I will definitely be going to him for my car needs

Charged me $350 to tell me my car isn’t going to last and isn’t going be worth it to fix it. told me to sell it for $500. My Honda Odyssey. I took it to HONDA got it fixed it wasn’t what he said was wrong with it $2000 and it runs great. He told me he’s been in business for 30 years. I have no idea how.

Absolutely the best ever. Not even to mention it's a family business and they are both the nicest people you ever met. But they'll warn you months ahead what you should expect from you car and what it will cost, and can ferret out and fix the most devilish squeaks, squeals, rattles, whines, clunks, anything. Uncanny, what a detective! So lucky someone gave us the name of this shop.

The absolute best mechanic. Personable, honest, very hard working. No non sense, you go there tell them what's going on they give you an estimate of cost and how long it'll take and they're usually pretty much right on with all of it
