It's hard to say enough good things about my first experience with Mendo Motorz. The service was first-rate, they went above and beyond what I expected, and they did it all on the same day I asked for the service despite the extra work that was discovered during the initial dianostics. They provided complimentary shuttle service to/from my home in Windcrest, and their price quote was right on the money!

Over the weekend, my granddaughter's starter on her 2010 Honda Civic went out. Without hesitation I called Mendo Motorz for assistance. Talked to Mike and he courteously assisted me with an appointment to do the work. Arrived on Monday, the earliest I could get a tow truck to get there, around 11am, talked to Ernest, got checked and by 1:30pm was told my car was ready. Oh my, talk about lightning speed service! Never been serviced so fast anywhere and with great courtesy!!! Thank you so much Mendo Motorz. You've made a repeat customer very happy.

Meh! They may do good work, I don't know. They may be busy, I don't know. They may want me to do business with them, I don't know. Communication with potential customers is lacking. I asked for a specific part, it wasn't available. Only used with 80k miles. Currently seeking a second and possibly a third opinion. Good luck everyone.

FANTASTIC!! David and Ernest were honest and reliable. Even though they were busy they figured out a way to get my car in and see what needed to be fixed. Would 100% recommend people take their Mercedes here. Will be using them from now on.

I took 2 vans in to be serviced . I was really impressed with Mr Kevin on how transparent and honest he was . He really helped me out. 1 van. Need it to be retimed. And the other van has given me monstrous problems. I couldn't figure it out for the life of me. We replaced everything on the van. All new parts. But Mr Cody figured it out. Within a couple of hours. He figured out this electrical problem and now I'm able to get back to work at Time Out Carpet Care.... Thank God for Mr kevin and this company Mendo motorz! A+ honesty integrity.. The Price was Right ! You can't go wrong here ..

A friend recommended your shop to me. Ms. B. Alberts she had issues with her Jeep. I was surprised at the reasonable diagnostic charge. Outstanding contacts kept me well informed as you made progress on my alternator and water hose replacement. Show an interest in my issue and rendered advice. Very professional. Most of all you saved me money from the $95.00 diagnostic to my military discount. I just recommend my son that have a Volvo and my daughter that have a chevy Equinox. My grandson have an Equinox also. I am the one paying the repair bills for my daughter Nissan she in UTSA . The rest pay for they own repairs after l pay upfront they pay me back. My apology for the long text. Thank you very for the smile l have on my face🤑😇 You may not deal with foreign cars the Volvo.

Ernest, Ronnie and the other guys at Mendos have literally brought my truck back from the dead. Transmission rebuild, complete exhaust replacement, new turbo and today was plugs and coils. Would recommend to anyone looking for hard working honest folk with good prices.

I had a fantastic experience at Mendo Motorz working with Paul and his team. My 2014 Chevy Cruze had a blown head gasket, and Paul offered several budget friendly repair options. The team was quick, professional, and did quality work. Communication was clear throughout the process, making me feel confident about the repairs. They even sent photos, videos, and a very detailed invoice, which was super helpful. The least I could do was write this review. I highly recommend them for anyone needing honest and efficient service!

I would highly recommend Mendo Motorz to anyone needing service on their automobiles. The shop is easily accessible and has a great waiting area. The staff is kind and transparent with every aspect of their services. I’ve taken multiple of mine and my family members vehicles to Mendo Motorz and we have been taken care of everytime. Instead of collecting a large payment for repairing my old vehicle, they recommended I trade my vehicle in for a newer vehicle. They were extremely honest over taking money from me. I recommend people take their vehicles to be repaired at Mendo Motorz. 👍🏆

We called Mendo motors after we took my mother‘s car to the dealer to have them look at the front end of her Honda Pilot. The dealer said that it was the front struts both sides. We then decided to take it to Mendo motors to get a second opinion, and they said the struts were likely good and did a check anyways. They found out that the struts could be replaced, but really didn’t need to be, but since we had already ordered the parts, we decided to fix that as well as the problem that Mendo said was really the problem to begin with. To top it off they did provided us with a military discount for my dad. We will be using their service again.

Ernest and his team were so professional and quick to resolve a very strange issue with my daughter's 2005 4-Runner. It sounded as there was water in the dash and the A/C was making eerie moaning sounds. They were super fast to determine the problem was a simple blockage but it required removing and drying out the condenser and replacing some of the resistors and lines. They removed over three inches of water and it was very saturated. They not only immediately determined the problem, fixed it but also allowed time to dry out and the Vehicle was ready for pickup the same day! I would definitely trust Mendo Motorz and Ernest especially for my older vehicles!!!

If you have a performance vehicle I would strongly suggest you find another place to go. This shop hasn't properly installed hi-perf parts, ex: stall speed, posi and claims after their work that the hole that miraculously appeared in the tranny bell housing wasn't their fault. Oh, and what happened to the WARRANTIES for the parts? These folks will argue with you over the phone and belittle you for asking questions they don't want to hear. Yes I will name names: ERNEST. Yelled at my wife over the phone because she questioned workmanship. What ever happened to customer service? They were going to "solve" the problem by replacing the oil & tranny pan. I took the truck to a more reputable shop ,and they informed me there was a crack in the block.They didn't see this? And were going to "repair" by charging thousands more for oil & tranny pans? This is a sham shop . Don't go there. If you can even fit your vehicle int their lot full of dusty cars.

I’ve been taking my cars to Mendo Motorz for a couple years and they’ve been very reasonable. Work has always been done correctly and the service team has done everything within the promised schedule and price range. Great to do business with fellow veterans in this area.

I had a driver side mirror replaced and two batteries for my 2007 Ford F250 and they made sure all my lights, turn signals worked. Mike and his worker did great and I would recommend people to come to Mendo Motorz. They treat their. Ustiners riggt and appreciate veterans as well.

Very disappointing that I told them I already been to so many shops and they all charge me to install parts but never fix the actual problem of my car leaking oil and I have to put oil every 2 weeks that how much I lose oil and this shop did the same , charged me for three parts and did install two parts but the spark plugs that they charged me for , 1 is not for my vehicle , my vehicle uses Iridium spark plugs so this shop decided to charge me for the cheapest spark plugs and didn’t install them , I told Ernest my car leaking oil and nobody actually fixes the issue so Ernest just did the same charge me $620 and didn’t even change the spark plugs or fix the oil leak , the day they said my car was ready 8/15 the next day the check engine light went on again so took it back 8/22 and they lie and say it’s now the catalytic converter so to just go to auto-zone and buy a cleaner and if that doesn’t work then parts would be 2-4 k to fix , the oil was still leaking and then my car wouldn’t work again shaking and I had no choice but to call a mobile mechanic 9/17 since my car was not drivable and this shop acted like they did fix the oil leak and made it seem like something else is wrong with my car so this mobile mechanic showed me it’s still leaking oil due to a nail needed to be replaced and new coils needed as well and once the mobile mechanic cleaned it he showed me the same part Ernest showed me of the spark plug that was damaged is the exact same so no spark plugs were ever changed in this shop but you want to charge $39.56 for 4 spark plugs to be replaced but not even fix the issue of the oil leak so now this again I will have to pay another mechanic to fix the problem since this shop just wanted to charge me but not actually fix my oil leak.
