Sprinter service team is quite terrible at this location, sadly the only one in the city. I would highly recommend finding a better dealership/shop. They literally don’t fix the things you ask them to fix, repeatedly ask you to describe issue, and customer service is horrid. Just picked up my Sprinter and they only fixed 1 of 3 issues I brought it in for. Now I have to take it elsewhere. This is 3rd time taking it to them for same issue. Customer service team is the worst. My first time here I was met with a nice staffer, Brian, but he soon left (I can see why).

The staff at MB service center make getting your car serviced feel like less of a chore. The staff efficient, upfront, professional and customer service focused. Alyssia Lloyd has been my service agent for many years now. She is hands down one of the best I’ve worked with in my 10 years owning MB vehicles.

The did a service once and headlight change but never connected the new bulb. I picked up the car light wasn’t working and display threw up an error. I asked why it wasn’t working they said I could pay for a diagnostic. Told em no and left. Went to my mechanic to have him check tires etc. he asked me why I had a disconnected headlight sitting there plugged it in and was fine from there. Now I only use this place in case of emergency if there’s no other option available

Avoid this place at all costs! I’ve been to Mercedes-Benz of Chicago several times to get my check engine light diagnosed, and each time they came up with a different story but never actually fixed the problem. The last time was the worst—my car was there for three days, and when I went to pick it up, the check engine light was still on. I called over the manager, Geoff , who rushed over, grabbed my keys, and drove the car to the mechanics. A few minutes later, they turned off the light and handed me the keys back. Geoff assured me the issue was resolved. But that was a complete lie—the check engine light came back on shortly after because they didn’t fix anything. To make matters worse, on a later visit, I went in for an oil change and to replace both the engine and cabin filters. I paid for the service, assuming everything was done correctly. However, I later discovered that none of the filters had been replaced, even though I was charged for it. On top of that, they forgot to properly reattach the engine cover after the oil change. Now another dealership has quoted me $750 to replace it! This place is unprofessional, dishonest, and careless. They’ll happily take your money and leave you with more problems than when you arrived. Save yourself the trouble and avoid this dealership at all costs!

These are low level, highly unethical people that play games, ignore calls and find ways to get around doing the right thing. Going forward I will be avoiding them as much as possible and encouraging others to do the same. Use Mercedes dealerships that actually appreciate your business, and that you can trust to be straight forward, timely and ethical. This service center has NONE of those qualities. Example: 1: Timely- I dropped off my car Monday and was told a few hours. It is now Saturday and after repeatedly calling them all week with no reply, I still do not have my car. 2: Unethical- I called about a tire with a nail in it right before the new year. They looked it up and said it was under warranty and set an appointment after the new year. Once the car got there I was told the full warranty ended in December. I was also told it needed a full inspection ti make sure it was a road issue because the tire was fine. I told the road issue was visible - it was a nail in the tire. They keep the car for days inconveniencing me to do a full inspection just to send me a picture of the nail in the tire. I was told it would be a partial warranty but the price is coming out to be $342 for the 1 tire with “miscallqneous” shop costs which is what I paid to begin with. 3: RUDE: They wouldn’t answer my calls, I had to call anonymous to get them to answer and when they did answer they spoke down to me. Bottom line- for ALL if not MOST service needs, go somewhere else.

Jesus Roman, a service advisor is an amazing asset to Mercedes Benz of Chicago, Elston service center. He is professional, proactive, honest, passionate and goes over and beyond. Always the best experience when I take my car in for service. My last experience with him was magical. Get with him, he’s magical asset for the business and customers.

Even though I have not purchased my vehicle from Fletcher Jones Mercedes, I only have a review for the service department, which is "awesome"! Since I have been coming to the service center since July 2023, I have been quite pleased with the maintenance service that was performed to my car. I most definitely appreciate the professionalism with all the staff. Last but not least, I have my "go to person" Jesus Roman in Service Department. He is always thorough, professional, courteous and exceptionally knowledgeable of Mercedes parts and services. Jesus makes me feel like I am part of his family! I had a fantastic experience with the service department here. Nick and Tyler were excellent, making the process smooth and efficient. I was in and out in just 10 minutes for a coolant change on a Monday morning, which was a pleasant surprise. Tyler was incredibly patient and took the time to answer all my questions, which I really appreciated. Top-notch service from a great team! Let me know if you’d like any more details added!

I have had a bad experience with MB of Chicago. I own a 2021 GLE 63 AMG SUV. I brought the car in on Wednesday, 10/23/2024 after the check engine light came on. I dropped it off with Hasan Aljiti who could not have been nicer. I told him I did not need the car back right away but did not want to drive it with the check engine light on. I didn't hear anything for several days. The following Monday 10/28/2024 (5 days later), I called Hasan's direct line (I had is card) and heard a recording that the number wasn't a working number. I tried it a couple more times but couldn't get through so I called the main service line and left a message. No one called back. I called Tuesday, 10/29 and Wednesday, 10/30 and left messages. No one called back. Finally, someone named Samantha called back and with no apologies or any explanation and said that they hadn't finished with the car. I asked her what happened to Hasan and she said he was out. She told me she had texted me a few days ago. I said I had not received any texts. We finally figured out that she was texting my partner's number (he does not own the car) even though I've told Mercedes more than a few times to call my number first. I later checked with my partner and he had not received any texts. He was traveling, so maybe that was why but he did not receive any texts (he checked and I checked). Anyway, the car was finally ready on 10/30 for me to pick it up. Samantha told me that cylinders 5 and 6 had to be replaced. I told her that this has happened twice before on a 2021 car and that I would like to speak to the mechanic or the manager about why this could be happening for a third time. She said okay she would let them know - no promises - no expression of concern or "I''m so sorry this is happening or rest assured, I'll find out, this might be normal for an AMG". I went in to pick up the car and spoke to Salvador Padilla (very nice and I have dealt with him before). I once again, explained to Sal that this issue with cylinder 5 is an ongoing issue on a fairly new car with less than 10K miles. The history is as follows: on 4/23/23, the engine light came on. I took it in and they found that cylinder 5 was misfiring. At that time they swapped the ignition coils between 5/6 and 7/8 to check for faulty spark plugs. They did not get another error code, so they replaced nothing and released the car. Again, on 1/24/24, the engine light came on for a misfire under 5 and 7. Does anyone ever read the prior notes on the car? Is something wrong with these spark plugs? Per MB, "the vehicle has old part number coil packs". How could this be when I had the car made and delivered brand new from the factory? What? They ended up swapping the spark plugs from cylinders 5 to 6 and then from 7 to 8. They got error codes on 6 and 8 so replaced those. Why not replace all four, since this keeps happening?? Now, here we are 10/23/2024 (almost always the same day of the month), the engine light comes on again and its cylinder 5 and 6 AGAIN. So what do the do, they swap 5 and 6 for 1 and 2, got a miss fire on 5 (miss fire followed the coil) so they replaced the cylinder 5 ignition coil, which they probably should have done in April of 2023 (unless I don't understand how this works). So, after all this, I asked Sal if someone from the repair area, preferably the manager could explain to me why this is happening on a fairly new car and what if it keeps happening and then the ignition control needs to be replaced? Isn't that expensive? What if it happens just as the car roles off warranty? Perhaps there are electrical issues and it's not just the spark plugs. Why would there have been old spark plugs on a new car? I would like some answers to these questions. I explained this to Sal and he said he would email the manager and that "he would call me back even if they don't respond" like he was expecting them to ignore me. I want a call back! I want to understand why this keeps happening to a car that I paid a substantial sum of money for (it's an AMG!).

I recently had my GLC worked on at this service center, and I was incredibly pleased with the team's work. Additionally, I just want to give a quick shoutout to Roger Sertuche, the service consultant I worked with. Roger was incredibly professional, and he treated me with respect in a way that was beyond what I typically experience with other companies, making the entire process smooth and stress-free.

Please stay away from this place. Do not bring your vehicles for any service. Respect your time and money. Do not waste either here. They can easily ruin your vehicle and your day. Promised services must be done in a timely manner without making sarcastic remarks or talking nonsense. My advice for the service advisor: do not promise to fix issues only because of previous negative surveys. I gave you a chance to fix the issue, but you did not even listen and just engaged in pointless conversation. I do not care if you have 20 years of experience fixing cars if you do not listen to the customer and just lift the car for inspection without taking any feedback. I have had too many problems with this service over the last two years and always leave unhappy and unsatisfied. I often have to take my car to other shops to fix what your service has failed to do. Today, you wasted my time, and I will be informing all my friends and family not to bring their vehicles here. I lost my working hours today, and you will be losing many customers from now on, believe me. Do not call me again about a negative review and try to get a positive one, as you did last time. When I have an appointment, you do not even touch my car, instead just engage in empty talk. Prove your professionalism by taking action: inspect the car and do the work. It is not complicated. This place is full of false promises and overpriced services. They rip you off and try to bring you back with more empty promises. Don’t fall for it. Don’t waste your time, energy, or money. Service advisors should not promise what they cannot deliver. We are working too, and you are stealing our time and ability to earn. I am part of a large auto community, and I will be sharing this feedback with them to show the true nature of your service. Good luck—you will need it. Your customer service is nonexistent, communication is poor, and promised services are never delivered. Update: "I will not be returning to your service center. If you can't fix the issue you caused in the past and then ask me to come back, which I did on Monday, only to not even take my car into the shop, it's a waste of my time. You just walked around and didn't listen to me. , the service advisor promised to fix the issues, but you failed to keep your promises. It feels like you only pretend to help after getting negative feedback in surveys, asking for positive feedback instead of genuinely addressing the problem. Despite me saying the car is dangerous to drive, you didn't listen or check the car. If something happens to me or my car on the highway, you will be responsible for any damages. All conversations were recorded, and I'm glad my car's dashcam captured everything."

Purchased a service package including 2 plan As and 1 plan B a few years ago and wanted to use the left plan A today. But we were told that the package expired three days ago. There was no expiration notice sent and the staff said it was not their responsibility to remind the client. We ended to pay for the plan A out of pocket. I planed to trade in for a new Mercedes Benz at the end of this year but now I have decided that I will never purchase this brand. I don’t want to deal with this service center anymore. Update: I emailed the reputation manager Kim who left a message below and told her what happened. It has been more than one month and I didn’t receive any response. How ironic!

Service was excellent. Modern super clean facility.Personnel,professional with the right to touch of friendliness. May I say charge for repair most reasonable. Watch repair live on screen in waiting room while enjoying a superb cup of coffee. Experience topped off with complementary car wash. A true Jewel of car repair facilities in Chicago.

I am extremely frustrated with the Mercedes-Benz dealership in Chicago, Illinois. Over the past three days, I’ve left multiple voicemails for the finance manager to cancel my extended warranty. When I finally managed to speak with him, he assured me he would email the necessary cancellation documentation, but I never received it. Despite my continued attempts to follow up, I have yet to hear back. This lack of communication and follow-through is very disappointing.

Lynne offered great customer service by calling back to check with updates on my Mercedes GLK that came in for a part repair/replacement. However, if I ask for a specific service for my car, don’t add on additional items that I didn’t ask for. My car was with them for 5 hours. Later I found out that a multi-point inspection was done (that I didn’t ask for) and the original issue of the part replacement was never even fixed. Even when it (the part replacement) was finally addressed the original quoted price with thousands (yes thousands) more than what I was quoted. This is why I have an issue going to dealerships for services. Please don’t try to play me or my pockets.

My salesman, Kevan Nguyen, is impressively professional and was available for hours of lengthy discussion to reach our purchase. He remains available to answer many questions about my Maybach S680's operating features. Equally impressive was Finance Director Roy Woodstrom who accommodated us with competitive financing to complete our purchase. Many thanks to Gabriel Orelove, Fletcher-Jones Mercedes-Benz of Chicago General Sales Manager, for providing accommodating quality service. My wife and I live in Trump Tower Chicago where high-end cars are abundant. Many residents have already passed my parked car and commented with enthusiasm about the Maybach S680. We will always refer them to Fletcher-Jones Mercedes-Benz of Chicago. We will remember and recommend the Fletcher-Jones Mercedes-Benz of Chicago dealership as being a friendly and accommodating neighbor.

Their service shop steals tires!!!! Make sure you take a picture of your car before getting any service done here. I went in for a recalled part replacement and they said it would take approximately 2 hours to complete. I stayed in the lobby then they said my car was ready but there was something that needed my immediate attention. The service agent tells me the tire thread is almost nonexistent and recommends getting brand new tires. I said maybe you’re confused, are you sure it is my car you’re saying this about? -he responds yes. I ask can you bring my car out and he does. What I saw was not only disappointing but evil. They in those two hours were removing my brand new tires that my father purchased and placed on my car two weeks prior with different brand and worn out ones they had laying around. I showed him a picture I sent to a friend because before coming there I got a car wash and zoomed in you can see that the tires front and back were the same brand. I guess they saw I was a woman and thought they can scare and scam me into purchasing new tires. Horrible place. I did file a police and a complaint with the BBB.
