Mercie J Auto was amazing! I spoke with David who when we originally spoke my phone kept dropping the call at least 3 times and not once did David get upset with me or not answer my call when I called back. He also guided me to a program that AZ offers for first time emissions fails that helped covered some costs of the repair. Mercie J made sure to look over my whole car and provided a full report on what concerns they had on my car and pointed out things I had no idea were going bad. They took care of me and my concerns and insured that my car passed before giving the car back. I went to many mechanics before this and have always been searching for that person you trust with your car and now I’ve found them! If you give them a try you will too!!

I've gone to Mercie J several times over the years for my last 2 vehicles and have always had exemplary service. My experience today was the exact opposite. IMy check engine light is on and I need emissions this year. It's been awhile since I was last there, and in that time have moved 5-10 minutes further East in Mesa. Their website says they service out to Apache Junction and that they provide a shuttle service. Awesome, so I call to make an appointment. On that initial call with Dave, he tells me I'm too far for him to take (still in Mesa off of Signal Butte), so he'll call me a Lyft and "just add that to my bill". I explain that I don't want to do that, so I should just use a shop closer to my house. He tells me not to worry, "just bring it in this afternoon and we'll get it all taken care of." I bring it in this afternoon, do the required paperwork and such, before he says, "Oh, it looks like the price went up. It's gonna be $28.xx for the Lyft." When I question how that's going to be handled, he explains to me that I'll pay for it with the final bill, and that he's "sorry for the misinformation" before handing me back my keys. To say I'm disappointed with Mercie J is an understatement. I'm not sure what's happened with them over the last couple of years, but I know they can do better because I've seen it. I'm giving them 3 stars (not just 1) because even though this was a 1-☆ experience, my past three experiences with them were great.

This is one of the best auto shops I have been to. Very trustworthy people. In there summary of what my car needed they sent pictures of everything and explanations. They even gave me a gift bag when went to pick up my car.

This is the absolute best auto shop. Mercie J Auto Care completed my diagnostic, inspection, and required services very fast (only once they sent me the full inspection report & answered all questions). So happy I went here for my coil and plug replacements (as well as fixing my window). No one wants to need car repairs, but when you do, this is the place to go. The quality of parts used, service, and customer care is unmatched. Adele and David were incredibly nice and helpful!

First time experience: I took my car ('09 Maxima 122,000 mi.) to the dealer for an oil change & cabin filter replacement. They gave me a report with about 12 things they said needed to be replaced at a cost slightly over $5,000. I found Mercie J on google maps. Called on Tuesday, made an appointment for Thursday for a complete inspection and estimate. Turns out that only a couple of things on the dealer's report actually needed to be replaced; right front axle seal and left front cv axle. I also had the coolant system serviced and they did an alignment. They saved me about $3,500 from what the dealer would have charged me for a bunch of stuff which didn't even need to be done. No wonder dealerships have such bad reputations for service work. I'm glad I found Mercie J and will definitely be going back for minor and major repairs because, unlike dealerships, they actually care about you. I took my car in at 8:00am, got it inspected, got an estimate and got the work done the same day. Picked up the car at 5:00 pm. The repair work they do has a 24 month or 24,000 mile warranty, so I feel confident in the quality of parts used and the skill of the mechanics. Call Adele at Mercie J - you're not just calling a car repair shop, you're calling a friend.

I cannot overstate how pleased I am to have found Mercie J! I called to request an appointment and was promptly booked in. On the day I dropped off my 01 Mazda Miata I was greeted with such warmth and kindness and was walked through the service/inspection process by Adele, who provided such generous service throughout. Just a few hours later, I received a report of the full vehicle inspection - I showed it to my dad who was blown away by the care and attention to detail. I gave them a call to authorize the work, and they gave me a timeline for completion (which they actually beat). I now feel safe and confident driving my new to me vehicle after having it serviced at Mercie J. Truly felt so well taken care of and will recommend their services to anyone who listens! Great experience. Fixed a couple of issues with our Mercedes Sprinter and did an oil change for a fraction of the price the dealer charges. This will be our go-to for service from now on.

I returned for a recent repair and am always amazed at the level of service that Mercie J provides. Our transmission had a leak, and the dealership and another local car shop recommended a complete transmission replacement on a car with 95K miles on it; note there was nothing wrong with the transmission. The expert technicians at Mercie J diagnosed and sealed the leak, saving us over $5,000. This team is honest, skilled, and friendly to work with.

One of the best auto repair experiences I ever had. My ac was blowing hot air so I gave them a call to recharge and diagnose. They performed those tasks and went beyond what 99% of other businesses would do to treat you right and earn my business. They checked for other issues, I needed a new air filter, my brake light was not functioning, and my freon was low. I had them fill up my freon, replace my brake light, and put in a new air filter. After the the brake light was replaced it still did not work so they offered to further diagnose which I declined and they did not charge for the replacement (I offered to pay and felt that it should be my responsibility). They charged 12.50 for the air filter (I do not think they even charged labor). They topped off my freon and told me to watch the freon level and bring the car back in if it looks to be leaking.

Hard to find a straight forward mechanic shop these days. They aligned our cars wheels to correct tire wear. They do get busy (says that folks trust them). Appreciate them buffing the head lights too. Finding someone who does that wasn't easy around here. Definitely love their work.

After going from mechanic to mechanics shops in dealerships I found the excellent and experience of Mercie J Auto Care... I was convinced after the diagnosis they had truly found the problem but when the part was not available and then delayed they went above and beyond to find what I needed and took care of my vehicle. Adele in the front office made me feel as if I was a priority to their business and keep a great communication which I had not found anywhere else, I wish to say that their work on my vehicle I wish I would have taken it there first and save myself a lot of headache and a lot of expense thank you again to everyone at the shop and especially the text who took the time with their experience to find my problem and solve it once and for all.
