To whom this may concern, Metro Automotive has served me well in the past however my recent experience there was a total let down. I had tasked them with an A.C. compressor job WHICH WAS NOT EASY but they managed to pull it off....... But to my dismay I discovered when the mechanic put my right wheel back on he managed to strip two of the studs that were responsible for keeping the will on. I discovered this while I was performing a brake job on my car, I noticed one of the nuts was already off the wheel and one of the others was loose. ....... Of course some time had passed when I performed this job however Metro Automotive was the last one to remove that wheel, When I completed my brakes I went to put on the lug nuts and the threading was too messed up for me to put them on leaving me to another issue I have to fix..... So I ordered the parts and performed the labor myself during the city black-out and contacted Metro Automotive when they were finally back up and running to inform them what happened..... At first they seemed like they did not want to accept any accountability but contacted me later and asked me to stop by. So I'm under the impression that they was going to compensate me for the parts and damage done to my vehicle however that's not what happened the mechanic denied even taking off my wheel to perform the AC compressor job..... And despite trying to talk to the representative of the company it was words falling on deaf ears so I left it alone and told her I gave you all a chance to make it right and you didn't...... So if you bring your vehicle to this business and they screw up 9 times out of 10 they will not accept any accountability and you will be stuck fixing their mistake....... So go there at your own risk.......So disappointed 😞😞😞.... what's even more disappointing is the fact that their mechanic doesn't remember he only left the wheel on to replace my serpentine belt...... However when it comes to the AC compressor that right wheel must be removed to get more access to the compressor area, I know this because to a degree I am mechanically inclined (common sense) really...... To test this out ask any mechanic about an AC compressor job on a 2012 Nissan Maxima, does the right tire need to be removed and they will tell you yes for convenience.

This place is absolutely the best..my husband and I took his Expedition Truck there and it needed 2 control arms...a CV something and Ball Joints and they fixed it in 2 days at a reasonable price...the best in Houston...I advised people who need work on their car I prefer that you visit this place...Thanks Metro Automotive..👍🏿👍🏿👍🏿👍🏿⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Towed the car here after having the engine rebuilt at another shop and vehicle broke down...this shop replaced the engine and now vehicle runs better then new....they are the best pit crew in the business!

Very good place to get your car fixed Ms Lilly is great, good customer service the one bad thing they only have one person working on cars so it's hard just to get him to look at it let alone fix it and sometimes they tell you to be there at 8am then you get there they can't look at it for days that's the only bad thing if you have a problem and need your car fix asap that will never happen and i try to work with them because he is very good.

I've been looking for an honest, reliable and quick service with an excellent customer service for a long time without luck. But now i don't have to look no more this is by far the best shop around town. I highly recommend this shop. Remember if you don't want to get ripped off anymore go to Metro automotive and you will have a motive to comeback. Omg, the best place! Feel bad I haven't reviewed yet. We come here for everything we can! Brakes. Oil. Starter. Anything they will do we go to them first. Friendly, nice, affordable, knowledgeable, the best. Maybe family ran. Not sure. But highly recommend!!

This is a family friendly shop that is efficient and prompt in delivering services. Management is awesome, and mechanics skilled. I actually followed them from a previous location in Southwest Houston to the current location. Very friendly service; and I always recommend family and friends.

This is a very late post but hey better late than never right. Well anyway today will be my 3rd or 4th time here. Each time I’ve come these two ladies and one of the mechanics here that’s been working on my car have been pleasant. I’ve also witness how they interact with other customers and it’s been the same very nice. I would recommend friends and family about this spot.

I have been doing business with Lilly and Metro Automotive for many years since some gas station got gasoline mixed with water into my car. They solved that problem and have continued to meet my needs in auto repair every since. I can say with absolute certainty that they exude competence and reliability. They are fair, honest and the quality of their work is top notch.

Metro Automotive provided a very affordable health check on my '95 4runner that had been sitting up a couple of years. They diagnosed the main issues and fixed for well below what I was expecting to pay. They were nice enough also to not charge me for storage when the wrong part came in and I had to return it for the proper one, which was delayed in arriving about a week due to the California fires. I have been going to this shop since I was a child as my long-time mechanic grandfather used them when he could not do certain work at home. Since the previous owner Frank retired, they have kept the excellent and quality service that I have always known and I highly recommend them! Thanks Metro Automotive!
