Was able to pop in for my state inspection. They were fast and the staff were amiable. They have a nice waiting area. Will use again.

I pulled up once on Wednesday and then again this morning to ask how long it would take to get a state inspection. I’m assuming the older white guy in his 60s is the owner. I spoke to him both times: the first time he told me they were getting ready to close (understandable) the second time I pulled up to ask how long it’d take to do the inspection because I had 3 babies in the car with me. He’s says “you can’t be blocking the bay” before I could get a word out. Admittedly, I’m going thru a lot right now but he was very short with me both times. A little bit of kindness goes a long way.

Highly recommended! I have been having my car cared for by the people at Meyerland Service Station for over 10 years. These guys really know what they are doing, they are friendly, quick, efficient and most important of all— honest. I have come in a couple of times with scary warning lights flashing across my dashboard, only to be told it was something simple and there would be no charge for the diagnosis and quick fix, or a low charge for changeout of a small part. They have done some extensive and expensive repairs on my car but it is always fully explained and fairly priced, judging by second opinions I receive from other auto repair providers. And when they finish the job, my car is fixed! That is not always the case with some other incompetent auto repair places I’ve used in the past. There is a reason why this place is always busy— everyone loves them and keeps coming back.

I just called Meyerland Service Station in tears of rage and frustration because my tire popped for no reason at all and my insurance company makes you jump through insurmountable hoops. Malik remembered me because I’ve been going to Meyerland Service Station for years and before I knew it someone was there putting on a spare. Tomorrow they’ll call when they have the tire and put it on. They are a professional and reliable station. I’ve never wondered if I’m being overcharged. They’re honest and competent. The few times I’ve gone elsewhere (not because I wasn’t happy with MSS but because I was near an oil change place while I was running errands and other similar reasons), I’ve regretted it. Highly recommend!

This place is conveniently located and clean. However, they were not respectful or communicative. I stopped in three times to try to get my car inspected - even calling first (as one employee suggested) to make sure that someone would be available. They finally assured me on the phone that their one inspector was available, and I could come right over. I rushed over, only to discover that the inspector had gone out for a while. When I asked the man at the desk why I would have been told on the phone to come in for the inspection only 7 minutes earlier, he said "we don't take appointments." No apology, no consideration for my time, or that fact that "someone else" who answered the phone had instructed me to come into an inspection.

What a gem this place is! I started going here about 2 years ago for my state inspections and it is always in and out. VERY friendly staff and they respect my vehicles like they were there own. If you are looking for a place to go for inspections this is the place to go. They have a nice clean fish tank in the waiting area and the place is clean. Can't beat it!

Initially my impression of them was good. I needed my brake pads changed and my rotors resurfaced, possibly replaced but for the mean time I wanted them resurfaced. I brought my own brake pads which I paid a decent amount for and I had already had the back ones done. After everything was completed my car ran so much better so no complaints there but after a day or two my brakes started squealing. I had received a follow up text from them and said everything was running better but mentioned the squealing was the only other thing I noticed. The response I got was because I used “cheap brake pads!!” Which I thought was laughable and unnecessary to text me back like that. The aftermath of the service is where they lost me due to their unprofessionalism. I had intended to purchase tires from them as well but I didn’t appreciate them being salty over me bringing in my own brake pads. I can understand by not using theres, there’s more lack of “guarantee” but it could’ve been worded better and replied with more care than yelling at me via text. NEXT!

Total rip off. Double check the part prices, they charge more than the dealership for parts. When I brought up to the owner, Rick, he told me I didn't know when I was talking about. Bad service and a bad attitude.

I was told that as long as I got there before 4:40 that I could get a state inspection. But when I got there way before 4:40, I was turned away because they “didn’t have anywhere to park cars.”

The outside service man was very rude and impolite. He spoke and acted as though he was doing me a favor. His demeanor was as if I owed him something. I will never conduct any business with them again. That's just how terrible my experience with them was.
