This was the worst Midas I ever had been to . I highly do not recommend. I don’t even know why they’re in business. The MANAGER JAY is very unprofessional as I see I’m not the only customer who had this same experience. Literally no customer service skills AT ALLL ! They are scammers, and overcharge ! Too much to type I just will never ever come here for car service again .

J is very rude and lacks professional customer service. After having me wait 3hrs for a part that was never in stock, I was told I'd get a call when it came. Couple days passed so I called back he said still haven't came, wait a couple more days and then he lies and said he sent it back because he called and I hung up quick and didn't answer then he changed it to he tried contacting me. I have no missed calls from Midas at all, my call log shows my calls to them. I go in person to see what number he claimed to call and he has a very rude attitude. Then tries to charge 3x what he originally said the part costs. I will never return to that location.

The new manager has a very nasty attitude. He wants everyone to know he is the new manager. He stated he been doing this for 18 years and he don’t care who I report to . He told me his name is Jay and the company needs him so he is not worried about being replaced. Customer service was very terrible i had to go to a different Midas just for an oil change.

I had an amazing experience at Midas! They did a fantastic job with my car, and I couldn’t be happier with the service. Jay was incredibly helpful he took the time to explain everything, made sure I felt confident in the process, and went above and beyond to ensure my car was in great shape. Jay was so unprofessional he gave me no eye contact as I really needed my car fixed and explained everything that was wrong with it...he misspelled my name. He told me he normally don't take people at this time but took me at the last minute. It was like I was talking to a brick wall. Now everybody has a bad day I get it. I'm 8 months pregnant and needed the car fixed only the brakes. Come to find out he over charged me for 3,000.. I left and went to the one on 7419 stoney island to a great person named bob who works at midas also I couldnt believe how awesome this guy was GREAT customer service positive attitude. BOB and the workers were awesome I would highly recommend people to go there... the workers were clean. They didnt stank it was very clean. Meanwhile at the other midas the man had a whole tear down the Crack of his butt. They were on their cell phones talking to friends not even doing their job right I'm just over them..I highly recommend 7419 s stoney Island tho. They are the best and they will get you together.

On 12/23/24. Mr. Tim and Mr. Jay, I would like to thank you for complying with my complaint. However, the reason for the three stars is that the person who worked on my car forgot to return 4 caps to the tire nuts. When I asked about it, this person said they were already missing. But I had taken photos of my 4 tires before leaving home because this happened with this Midas back in 2022. The Manager, Mr. Jay said he would refund me. But I can not return to this environment!

This Midas store is unreliable went in for a brake inspection and was told I needed every thing he quoted me $3500 price tag none professional …later I went to another Midas on 74th Stoney Island and found out that I really didn’t need all that Manager Jay quoted so beware of the Midas on 72 and stoney Island they give bogus prices and bogus service it really deserves no stars

Would not recommend at all! 1) I called a week in advance, scheduled an appointment and said exactly what services I needed. When I arrived, my parts weren’t there, I had to wait an extra day for the repair(which is okay). 2.When I came the next day, the parts weren’t there again. 3) The workers tried to change prices numerous times, making up “I can take off this much for you”. 4) Workers called and told me my car was ready, when I came the car still didn’t have tires on and I wanted for 20 minutes.

Service was good, the worker by the name of Jay was very quick & respectful. Made great conversation in the process of my car getting an oil change, they made sure everything else was running perfectly fine before I pulled off the lot. I recommend this Midas over any other I’ve been too.

Owner is super kind and communicative. I needed a last second appointment, he squeezed me in, talked me through all the needed parts, and let me know what other issues my car had. Instead of trying to make me feel like I had to buy extra services, he simply talked me through what I needed & what it would take to fix it but didn’t attempt to pressure me into any additional sales. I strongly recommend coming here especially if going to Autoshops makes you a bit nervous. Super friendly and welcoming.

Thanks to the Midas team on 72nd and Stony. They have gone above and beyond to help me with my two trucks. From financing, to coupons, to diagnostics to going outside the box -calling to find out what's wrong with my vehicles, parts, and and to fix my vehicles at a comparable price- not to mention the excellent customer service that I have received. I have finally found somewhere to take my vehicles two in a convenient location that I trust.
